The cabin has a huge redwood deck surrounded by blooming Dogwoods during the springtime. Our year-round Moran Creek runs on the edge of the property. IAll wood inside: tongue-in-groove pine ceilings and walnut paneling, large wood-burning stove which has three flat places to cook. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with vintage pink and white formica counters and breakfast bar which seats four. Dining on resin-topped circular table made by designer of first chair-lift in Squaw Valley. Gigantic redwood wrap-around deck set up with comfy furniture, table and chairs to enjoy the bliss of Big Trees-Calaveras State Park. On the main floor there are two bedrooms: both with queen beds, a full bath with large bathtub/shower; in loft: one queen and one twin, and a 1/2 bath. Extra airbeds are located in the closet. Sofa is down filled. Retro decor with orange glass lamps, kilim rugs and down comforters on all beds. Vintage electric keyboard and full stereo system. Can sleep 7-8. You can enjoy weekend dinners at Snowflake lodge or make use of the

We loved our stay! It was everything we were hoping for. The A-Frames were very comfortable for the two of us and our 130lb dog. The camp site itself was very quiet and private. Really easy access to the park and nice to have the option of using the showers at their sister property if needed.

Beautiful quiet area limited to three campsites. Beautiful views, lots of trees and paths to walk. Dogs allowed. Ran into the owner who was lovely and available if anything was needed. No wi fi and difficult cell service so be prepared for that - which was really actually very nice with these days being so technology driven. I was able to grab a satellite off and on. No hook ups so come self contained.

We had a great stay despite super hot days and the cabin heating up to sauna level :)
The cabins are great, small, lovely and have everything necessary. Our cabin was #3 - it’s a perfect site to rent with a group of people because cabin 2 and 3 are next to each other and no one is around you. Beautiful views!
Our dog became all orange because he would lay in a red clay dust and no matter how much we cleaned him with wipes, he was orange the entire trip :)

We had a nice weekend camping at Pond Bank Waterfront. The property was easy to find and access. We parked our trailer parallel to the pond so that we had a nice view of it. We were the only ones accessing the pond so that was nice. We were aware of neighbors across the pond but they are far enough away that it was no issue. We really enjoyed watching all of the birds come and go to the pond. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful!
We liked that the location of the property is so close to things to do during our stay. We spent the afternoon on Saturday checking out the Kennedy Mine and Kennedy Tailing Wheels. Fascinating. Walking around Sutter Creek was fun too.
The only issue we had were mosquitos which come any place with water. Just be prepared for them to come out an hour or so before sunset. We didn't have any issue with them during the day.

Having a private reservoir to unwind at was a lovely addition to our weekend away. We explored some local trails with our dog and then came to fish and relax by the resorvoir. There are some neighbors with animals that are chatty but that is to be expected out in the country. We took out the paddleboat and enjoyed hours relaxing on the land. Thanks James!

2 nights at Nolla A-Frames Near Yosemite
What a great stay! It's secluded, has a lovely view, and was everything that we needed! That being said, we did arrive at night and turning up to the site at 10pm was at first a bit sketchy, but it was fine during the day. On the second night's stay, it was considerably hotter during the day so it was also much warmer at night. There was one fan to try to bring in the cool night air from the outside but it didn't do much. I brought a second fan and we were both able to point it at ourselves and it cooled us down. No bugs, that was nice! The views are spectacular. The drive to the 2nd and 3rd cabin are on a road that I am glad I had a higher SUV to traverse the windy road. Would I stay here again? Yes!

So peaceful and private .i didn’t see a soul the entire time.
The paddle boat was great and I appreciated the runner of artificial grass that was very soft
The pond is so refreshing and the sand beach .nice to lie on.
Note there is no picnic table but a glass table and a wooden stool, so as long as you have chairs it’s not an issue.
The gas grill does not work .
There is a large fire pit on wheels that will be awesome once the fire ban is lifted.
I even made a sweet duck friend! I’d come back just for him!

1 night at Nolla A-Frames Near Yosemite
We stayed in Cabin 3 at Liza and Tom’s for a last minute, mid week trip to Yosemite. We stayed 2 nights. It is relatively close to the park entrance and is a great option if sites are full in or nearer to the park. The views are great and cabins have a clean modern feel. R the area has a nice feel and is a great place to hang out. Everything was as described. Road up to the site was steep in spots and do advise 4 wheel drive - clearance height on regular vehicles may be an issue after wet weather. We did not use showers which are honestly a drive across the road to a river trip business they also run. Tom and Liza communicated quickly and as needed before the trip.

Absolutely recommend cabin three! There are some few points, though that I would suggest for my experience as somebody who is sometimes a little bit of a late traveler and has a hard time seeing at night.
For any travelers who might have vision problems at night or during the day, finding these signs can be challenging as they can be very small and come up fast on the primary freeway. I would suggest communicating with the host and building your own map for distances to ensure that you get to the location safely and on time.
The experience staying here was so extraordinary and amazing for me. I absolutely recommend it to all people who want to reimburse themselves back into camping at a slightly nicer level than a tent. The A-frame was amazing… It had very many amenities that made it worth it. The heat gets quite hot during the day. So please consider having options for yourself to cool off.
I absolutely recommend cabin three for anyone wanting to stay and get back into camping. Please know that these hosts are amazing and they worked very very hard to make your stay here as nice as possible.
I traveled here as a married man with my dog, just for some boys trip time and a getaway. I cannot recommend this place enough. I'm absolutely planning to come back.

Great spot. Perfect to fish, boat and relax with friends. Outhouse was a welcome surprise. Site is definitely exposed and hot, but its location on the water cannot be beat. One thing to note; the reservoir isn’t completely private. Two or three other properties have access to the water, but no one came out during our stay. Will certainly be returning in the future!
