Everything about Naomi’s place is exquisite. The vibe is super chill, the space super comfortable and comforting. Nicole is so great at communicating and that made logistics and our stay go so smoothly. You will marvel at the outdoor kitchen. I’d come back to stay at this spot hands down!! Great sanctuary!!

We had the most spectacular time here. Absolutely stunning. Hike down and up was steep and difficult - well worth it, but definitely worth noting. Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat and if we were local we would stay here often for sure. Thanks again for having us 💕

We loved our stay!! Very well equipped, bathrooms were great, and we ended up needing almost everything in the “everything you forgot” box. Host was very kind and easy to talk to, you just check in with him and then it feels like home! Definitely coming back, definitely recommend it.

I really liked the tent camping and the sites were far apart. The area was suitable for Astrophotography although there was a bit of light glow from the town of Livermore. Weekend Trip to May's Luxury Farmstays

This is a beautiful property!! It was so peaceful. We loved all the hens and roosters running around, they were so friendly. The koi pond is so cute with a nice deck and picnic table to eat or relax at. They even provided fish food, so that was cool. We also loved the mixture of rustic and modern in the cabin. There were tons of amenities like heated floors, fancy shower heads, pantry food, fresh eggs, full bar, fully stocked kitchen, and even stuff like swim toys, high chair, and pack n play for kids. I liked that both bedrooms had their own TV. And two full bathrooms was pretty sweet too! Comfy beds. Tons of extra pillows and blankets, even heated blankets. The deck had a fire pit and bbq, and even a sink. We didn’t get a chance to try the outdoor bathtub, but it looked relaxing! My only complaint is the living room furniture could use an update, the recliner part of the chair was broken, and the futon wasn’t the comfiest, but minor issue considering how awesome everything else about the place was. The owners were super accommodating, anything we needed they took care of right away. We felt very welcome there! And we already plan on coming back.

From the warm hosts, to the beautiful forested property and amazing views, we had a great experience and will definitely be back! Our tent was thoughtfully decorated and had all the comforts of home. The fresh eggs were a great way to start the day and the view from the fire pit area was an even better way to end a day.

John made our stay really wonderful! The property is wide open and closer to town than we had imagined, but we still felt like we were far away from cares. The site was easy (though a walk to the bathroom!) There is a Buddhist Stupa on the land which made the stay even more magical. We will return! It was great for the party of 16!!

Our second one-night visit and we love this place. I noticed a new addition this time, there is a giant structure made of fallen wood down one of the walking paths.

As advertised. Enjoyed my night- they had everything need to grill. Outdoor Shower was nice- the bathroom sink was at a drip at best. However, lots of other places to wash hands as needed.

My pups and I had a wonderful time! Nancy was so sweet and welcoming getting us settled in. The spot is comfortable and quiet with excellent amenities and plenty of space to spread out and relax. My pups ran around and had a great time chasing ground squirrels. They loved it so much I had to convince them to go to bed at night! Nancy also sent us lists she made of recommendations for parks and beaches they would enjoy! We will definitely come back!

Loved this campsite, super easy to get to and in a lovely location, we stopped on a passing visit but would have happily stayed for a few more days. Great facilities, would highly recommend.

We had people swear that this is the best bed they ever slept in. The campground is located in a serene oak grove area of the property. Its a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. Take a stroll around our 5-acre property and catch a breathtaking sunset from the hillside. We're only 11 minutes away from Mount Madonna State Park and just 10 minutes from a local healthy grocery store and yoga studio. Regarding your camper -- please be sure your camper / RV / Campervan / motor home has a toilet. County regulations require an indoor toilet to stay here. Also, our property can only accommodate hardshell campers / RV's / Sprinter type vans. Sprinter's with a pop-up for sleeping are fine. We cannot accommodate tents. The Serenity and privacy make this an uncommon, yet ideal romantic place to stay. This site is sheltered by the manzanitas and pines of this chaparral community. Adventure seekers will find paradise here! Mount Madonna Park with miles of trails is 20 minutes down the road. You can dump your septic there as well! Horseback riding rentals are located near the park as well as an archery range. Demonstration forest is 15 minutes down the road, with miles of mountain biking. Spend a day at one of the beaches in Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Rio Del Mar, Davenport, Half Moon Bay, Monterey, or Carmel and return to your private oasis. Or Explore Silicon Valley from this centrally located parcel. Kim Son Meditation Center and Mount Madonna Center are approximately 15 minutes away. There are also wonderful wineries throughout the mountains here. The trip to the site will begin with a three mile drive on a private dirt road. Being on the very top of a mountain brings more seasonality than the surrounding cities. Please be prepared for any kind of extreme weather. Summer: Shade is highly recommended it can get into triple digits. *Spring/fall: Temperatures are generally mild but high winds are possible. *Winter: Typically cold and windy. *During rainy/muddy conditions 4x4/AWD is highly recommended. It is possible for it to get windy, foggy, rainy, hot and sunny, and even sometimes snowy. Please note: the nearest grocer is 30 minutes from this site. Emergency supplies are available for delivery to your campsite. Cell phone reception is good on most carriers. Pets are allowed. Enjoy your time howling at the moon, star gazing, bird watching/wildlife viewing, or relaxing with your favorite libation. Don't forget your camera! Since this is our first year renting our land we have found that August is a high wasp season time in the mountains. We are doing everything humanly possible to hunt down each and every Wasp for your enjoyment. With this in mind we ask you use the provided bug repellent, keep the lid to the trash closed, and do not pour grease anywhere you do not want wasps.

The Rainbow Junction

The Rainbow Junction offers a unique camping experience at the intersection of Mines Road and HWY 130 in the San Antonio Valley. We operate a restaurant and we offer camping friendly meals for guests. We love the wildness of this property and do not allow cars or vehicles beyond the parking lot. All of our sites are hike in sites. It's about a 1/4 mile hike on a small foot path. We have a wagon available for guests to use and we are happy to help you carry your things. We host a communal fire pit in the evenings, weather permitting, for all guests to enjoy, we do not allow open fires on the property. Cal Fire has requested that all campers get a permit, even to operate a gas stove. The permit is free and takes just a few minutes. https://permit.preventwildfiresca.org/ Please pack your trash, food scraps can be place in our compost but please be prepared to take all other items with you when you leave. Our swimming pond is about a 3/4 mile hike through brush from the restaurant but is a great way to beat the heat during the day! Campsites have a picnic table. A dry toilet is a short walk from campsites and we equip sites with a water dispenser and a sealed container for trash. Water from our well is always available outside of the restaurant and bathrooms with running water are available during business hours. There is a fire trail along one of our ridge lines that offers stunning views of the San Antonio Valley as well as our abundant wildlife. We sometimes host speakers and educational workshops and guests are always welcome to participate in events. Campers, trailers, RVs and Vans are welcome to stay in our lot but we currently do not have hookups available. Have a large group? We are happy to reserve group sites.
