This was originally a Girl Scout camp called Singing Pines back in the 30’s. You’ll see as you roam around some of the original buildings and structures. It hasn’t been in operation as a Girl Scout camp for over 30 years. The bigger building is an Airbnb for groups. They will also have access to the lake.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Exit for Angeles Crest Hwy (Hwy 2) from the 210
Go North, up the mountain for 29 miles
Turn left on Sulpher Springs Rd
Go about a mile and you will see a Singing Pines sign up on a hill on the right side.
There is a white gate which is usually open but if it's closed go ahead and open it.
Go down that driveway about a mile and turn left at the fork.
Follow that road down and around the lake staying to the right. Once you passed the lake there will be a little uphill and the location is on the left.

The Skoolie is a converted short bus with two love seats that convert to an RV queen bed, sink, stove top, dinette, and over head lights. Outside is a private meadow with a short walk to a small lake. You can bring your fishing gear. It's stocked with Bass and Bluegill. Outside the Skoolie is a picnic table, fire pit (firewood $10 a bundle) and a hammock. Up the hill, a very short walk is the private campground toilet facility. This is not shared with anyone else.
No cell phone reception no linens bring a sleeping bag or warm blankets. You can charge your phone in the Skoolie for a sunrise alarm or just to take pictures.

Splitrock Farm and Retreat started in January 2021 after a global search of a place to set roots, live off the land, and create an amazing place for recreation, relaxation, and rejuvenation.
Splitrock was part of a 160-acre avocado farm that prospered from 1970 to 2017, generating over 1million pounds of avocados per year until the previous owners switched off the water in 2017. Ben purchased 101 acres in 2021 with plans to harvest the dead avocado trees for firewood and replant with organic, sustainable crops such as grapes, citrus trees, and flowers.
Splitrock's attraction comes from its unique groves, magnificent granite boulders, and sweeping vistas. Mixed within the avocado groves are several ancient groves and solitary trees that include 150+ foot tall pines, hundreds of old oaks, and soaring palms. Freckled throughout the hillsides are thousands of humongous granite boulders, offering a prehistoric feel to the landscape. Above all, Splitrock offers unrivaled views. Over 40 miles of coastline includes views to Point Loma, the Carlsbad power station, and the Pendleton Hospital. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, UBER is only too happy to come here and pick you up! If you're not interested in any activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. "If you got the sight, we got the views." Our property sits on top of a hill on 10 acres of beautiful panoramic views of Cahuilla and, Palomar mountain along with rolling hills of large rock formation and colorful wildflowers in the spring. Nestled up to the wildlife preserve of the government bureau of land management which provides more of a quiet and private setting to enjoy what nature has to offer.
You will see Jack rabbits and cotton tail bunnies, roadrunners, quail, owls, different type of birds, hawks, coyote, lizards, snakes and even some toads. On occasion you may see deer, Bob cats, mountain lion along with endangered kangaroo mice, The beautiful night sky is easy to see planets and shooting stars without the interruption of city lights.
There are many trails to walk, hike, bike and horse back ride where you can discover large boulders in different shapes and sizes along with hidden caves. A variety of rocks and minerals can be found for those rock hound enthusiasts as well.
At the camp site you will find a horseshoe pit ,indoor and outdoor games and treasure hunts for everyone to enjoy. If you want to bring your own set of golf clubs you can even hit some balls!
We allow pets for a $10 per pet/per booking. If you want to bring a pet, please add the pet fee listed as an extra during the booking process.
There are off road areas nearby. Bring your motor bike, quad or buggy and throw up some dirt.
Not too far there is a Casino, a store open 24 hrs. and a restaurant call for hours. 20-30 minutes away from the Temecula stores and wineries.
You don’t have to worry about packing up a bunch of camping equipment, our camp provides a 35 foot RV if you prefer a roof over your head and a place to sit down for a meal. The power runs off a generator ( you will need to provide your own fuel. it is a 5 gallon capacity). has indoor and outdoor lights, a radio, outlets to plug in a fan or heater or a phone/computer. There are dishes and utensils,pots/pans and a toilet. Outside water is provided to wash up and clean the dishes. There is a propane b.b.q, propane fire ring, outdoor bench, table and camp chairs. included in the cost.

Upstairs find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (1 queen, 1 king, 1 twin day bed). Find a cozy room where the kiddos (or adults) can enjoy a snooze on the twin day bed or pull out for more room into a king.
Downstairs bedroom (1 king), and 1 pull out queen in the living area, a 2nd bathroom and another living room for lounging, movie night or cozying with a book by the fireplace. There’s also a Peloton and exercise equipment if you don’t want to skip leg day. Washer and dryer is downstairs and is also yours to use.
Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner so you don't have to worry about a thing so you can freshen up after a day at the beach on the lake or slopes alike.
Don't worry about a baby sitter, bring the entire fam we have a pack and play, baby gate, and high chair available.
Two dedicated workspaces are available with large monitors to plug in a laptop (cables provided) and remote workers are welcomed and encourage to spend their workdays overlooking the forest. The house is equipped with ultra fast wifi and you can even take meetings out in the fresh air on the deck!
Guests have access to both floors, indoor space and deck of the tree house. There is a keypad on the front door for easy self check-in and check-out. We will send you a unique access code before you arrive.
Feel free to bring your furry friends along, under 55lbs. doggie's are welcome, with prior approval, message me for details. Not on furniture please :)
The driveway is on a slight incline and can fit up to 4 parked cars (a rarity in the mountains). Please do your best to squeeze in and avoid street parking. Guests must be able to navigate going up and down stairs to access this home. Unfortunately it is not ADA accessible.
- We want you to have fun but please be mindful of the neighbors & avoid loud noise or external speakers outdoors. Please be considerate of the quiet calm of the neighborhood between 9pm and 10am.
- No smoking indoors or outdoors as we are in a high fire risk area. We may fine you for any evidence of smoking.
- Fines for rule violation are issued by San Bernardino County (minimum of $1000) and will be the responsibility of the guest
-Your safety matters. There is Ring door located upstairs in addition to an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry and some of the driveway.
Snow Season Reminders:
*The Tree Top Chalet on a street that is plowed by the county. Please be sure to check weather conditions and CalTrans for updates prior to your arrival. On occasions, depending on in climate weather and road conditions, tire chains are mandated by CalTrans and you will not be allowed to drive up the mountain without them in snowy conditions. Please note there will be checkpoints set up along the road where there will also be people to assist with chain installation for a fee.
*Normal winter weather/road conditions are not grounds for reservation changes or cancellations.
*We can provide snow removal service before guest check in, there are snow shovels and additional salt for you to utilize during your stay. We are glad to coordinate additional snow shoveling/blowing services at cost if desired, just let us know :)

This was originally a Girl Scout camp called Singing Pines back in the 30’s. You’ll see as you roam around some of the original buildings and structures. It hasn’t been in operation as a Girl Scout camp for over 30 years. The bigger building is an Airbnb for groups. They will also have access to the lake.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Exit for Angeles Crest Hwy (Hwy 2) from the 210
Go North, up the mountain for 29 miles
Turn left on Sulpher Springs Rd
Go about a mile and you will see a Singing Pines sign up on a hill on the right side.
There is a white gate which is usually open but if it's closed go ahead and open it.
Go down that driveway about a mile and turn left at the fork.
Follow that road down and around the lake staying to the right. Once you passed the lake there will be a little uphill and the location is on the left.

The Skoolie is a converted short bus with two love seats that convert to an RV queen bed, sink, stove top, dinette, and over head lights. Outside is a private meadow with a short walk to a small lake. You can bring your fishing gear. It's stocked with Bass and Bluegill. Outside the Skoolie is a picnic table, fire pit (firewood $10 a bundle) and a hammock. Up the hill, a very short walk is the private campground toilet facility. This is not shared with anyone else.
No cell phone reception no linens bring a sleeping bag or warm blankets. You can charge your phone in the Skoolie for a sunrise alarm or just to take pictures.

Splitrock Farm and Retreat started in January 2021 after a global search of a place to set roots, live off the land, and create an amazing place for recreation, relaxation, and rejuvenation.
Splitrock was part of a 160-acre avocado farm that prospered from 1970 to 2017, generating over 1million pounds of avocados per year until the previous owners switched off the water in 2017. Ben purchased 101 acres in 2021 with plans to harvest the dead avocado trees for firewood and replant with organic, sustainable crops such as grapes, citrus trees, and flowers.
Splitrock's attraction comes from its unique groves, magnificent granite boulders, and sweeping vistas. Mixed within the avocado groves are several ancient groves and solitary trees that include 150+ foot tall pines, hundreds of old oaks, and soaring palms. Freckled throughout the hillsides are thousands of humongous granite boulders, offering a prehistoric feel to the landscape. Above all, Splitrock offers unrivaled views. Over 40 miles of coastline includes views to Point Loma, the Carlsbad power station, and the Pendleton Hospital. To the northeast are views of near 11K foot snowy peaks of San Jacinto and San Gorgonio, with rolling hills of De Luz and Fallbrook in the foreground.

There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs and California Ranch Company. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, UBER is only too happy to come here and pick you up! If you're not interested in any activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. At night, enjoy the sounds of serenity.

"If you got the sight, we got the views." Our property sits on top of a hill on 10 acres of beautiful panoramic views of Cahuilla and, Palomar mountain along with rolling hills of large rock formation and colorful wildflowers in the spring. Nestled up to the wildlife preserve of the government bureau of land management which provides more of a quiet and private setting to enjoy what nature has to offer.
You will see Jack rabbits and cotton tail bunnies, roadrunners, quail, owls, different type of birds, hawks, coyote, lizards, snakes and even some toads. On occasion you may see deer, Bob cats, mountain lion along with endangered kangaroo mice, The beautiful night sky is easy to see planets and shooting stars without the interruption of city lights.
There are many trails to walk, hike, bike and horse back ride where you can discover large boulders in different shapes and sizes along with hidden caves. A variety of rocks and minerals can be found for those rock hound enthusiasts as well.
At the camp site you will find a horseshoe pit ,indoor and outdoor games and treasure hunts for everyone to enjoy. If you want to bring your own set of golf clubs you can even hit some balls!
We allow pets for a $10 per pet/per booking. If you want to bring a pet, please add the pet fee listed as an extra during the booking process.
There are off road areas nearby. Bring your motor bike, quad or buggy and throw up some dirt.
Not too far there is a Casino, a store open 24 hrs. and a restaurant call for hours. 20-30 minutes away from the Temecula stores and wineries.
You don’t have to worry about packing up a bunch of camping equipment, our camp provides a 35 foot RV if you prefer a roof over your head and a place to sit down for a meal. The power runs off a generator ( you will need to provide your own fuel. it is a 5 gallon capacity). has indoor and outdoor lights, a radio, outlets to plug in a fan or heater or a phone/computer. There are dishes and utensils,pots/pans and a toilet. Outside water is provided to wash up and clean the dishes. There is a propane b.b.q, propane fire ring, outdoor bench, table and camp chairs. included in the cost.

Upstairs find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (1 queen, 1 king, 1 twin day bed). Find a cozy room where the kiddos (or adults) can enjoy a snooze on the twin day bed or pull out for more room into a king.
Downstairs bedroom (1 king), and 1 pull out queen in the living area, a 2nd bathroom and another living room for lounging, movie night or cozying with a book by the fireplace. There’s also a Peloton and exercise equipment if you don’t want to skip leg day. Washer and dryer is downstairs and is also yours to use.
Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner so you don't have to worry about a thing so you can freshen up after a day at the beach on the lake or slopes alike.
Don't worry about a baby sitter, bring the entire fam we have a pack and play, baby gate, and high chair available.
Two dedicated workspaces are available with large monitors to plug in a laptop (cables provided) and remote workers are welcomed and encourage to spend their workdays overlooking the forest. The house is equipped with ultra fast wifi and you can even take meetings out in the fresh air on the deck!
Guests have access to both floors, indoor space and deck of the tree house. There is a keypad on the front door for easy self check-in and check-out. We will send you a unique access code before you arrive.
Feel free to bring your furry friends along, under 55lbs. doggie's are welcome, with prior approval, message me for details. Not on furniture please :)
The driveway is on a slight incline and can fit up to 4 parked cars (a rarity in the mountains). Please do your best to squeeze in and avoid street parking. Guests must be able to navigate going up and down stairs to access this home. Unfortunately it is not ADA accessible.
- We want you to have fun but please be mindful of the neighbors & avoid loud noise or external speakers outdoors. Please be considerate of the quiet calm of the neighborhood between 9pm and 10am.
- No smoking indoors or outdoors as we are in a high fire risk area. We may fine you for any evidence of smoking.
- Fines for rule violation are issued by San Bernardino County (minimum of $1000) and will be the responsibility of the guest
-Your safety matters. There is Ring door located upstairs in addition to an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry and some of the driveway.
Snow Season Reminders:
*The Tree Top Chalet on a street that is plowed by the county. Please be sure to check weather conditions and CalTrans for updates prior to your arrival. On occasions, depending on in climate weather and road conditions, tire chains are mandated by CalTrans and you will not be allowed to drive up the mountain without them in snowy conditions. Please note there will be checkpoints set up along the road where there will also be people to assist with chain installation for a fee.
*Normal winter weather/road conditions are not grounds for reservation changes or cancellations.
*We can provide snow removal service before guest check in, there are snow shovels and additional salt for you to utilize during your stay. We are glad to coordinate additional snow shoveling/blowing services at cost if desired, just let us know :)

Location was very private. A-frame stayed pretty warm. Bed was comfortable. Some stores located within 15 minutes to grab anything you need or may have forgotten.

Our stay at this cabin in Green Valley Lake was everything we needed and more. It was the perfect escape from the city.
The cabin itself was incredibly spacious and well maintained. With three floors and four outdoor decks, there was no shortage of places to unwind and take in the peaceful forest views.

This is seriously such an incredible place and experience! Joshua’s land is beautiful, well maintained and the tent itself so comfortable. The view is UNBEATABLE, with amazing dark sky visibility as well. it was easy to find and get to, but still felt super private. It also had everything we needed to prepare and eat a couple meals comfortably. The property is shared with Joshua’s father Ghost who is so nice and who graciously showed us around before leaving us to our privacy. The clean private toilet was also a huge plus. we seriously cannot wait to come back—the perfect getaway from SD or anyone looking for a unique and comfortable camping experience!

Weekend Trip to Namaste Farms
You see the pictures online and you think, wow, this looks really unique. But then when you see it in person it's even more amazing. It's a creatively designed treehouse that looks like something out of Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. The property is on a working farm, so there are sheep all around (in fences, of course). Overall, a very memorable and relaxing weekend. Sean was our host and he was extremely accommodating and gave us some great restaurant recommendations for nearby Temecula. I hope to visit again soon.

Stayed in the Treehouse. The room is small with a full sized bed, so if you bring your dog, bring a small one as we did. The outdoor patio above the vintage truck bed adds to the square footage. The host Sean was very pleasant and informative. There is a nice propane fire pit down below. Lots of farm animals with some friendly farm dogs. Although rural, the town of Temecula is nearby with plenty of restaurants.

Absolutely! Easy camp set up with actual toilets and shower onsite. Definitely will be back for a quick escape from the city. Only thing to be concerned with is that those roosters be rooster-ing through out the night.

What a beautiful place! Felt like I was in the middle of nowhere all by myself ❤️ this was a solo trip, just myself and my dogs. I felt safe yet felt like the world was all mine! The property is gigantic and you’re able to hike from almost any point. Lots and lots of trails and lots and lots to explore! Grateful for the bathroom. The is no running water, except in the van sink. It was nice having a little kitchen! It was nice, not having to lug all my cooking supplies up! there was a hammock, fire pit, freshwater, and a cooler full of ice, waiting for me when I arrived. The bed in the van is comfortable. I am 5’6 and I barely fit laying flat. If you’re taller than me, expect to sleep diagonally or curled up. It gets really cold up there! And the van gets really cold! Make sure you bring lots of warm covers and pajamas! And even a little heater if you have one. A safe propane one because there’s no power for you to plug-in to. Also, there’s no signal out there. Yet you can catch a satellite signal with proper equipment.
Bring all your supplies up with you! There’s no stores around! Space is clean! Beautiful wild yet managed with lots of dilapidated buildings to check out. And so many beautiful views! There’s also a lake! Kayaks, you can take onto the lake as well. I was too cold to attempt getting in the water, but I bet it would be a good time!
The host was great! The drive was so beautiful and easy! I will definitely definitely definitely definitely come here again.

Star ranch is a beautiful secluded property that had plenty of room for our dog to roam off leash. The stars at night were beautiful, and the A frame and kitchen area were very comfortable.
The flush toilet and shower were extremely nice touches, and the shower got very hot and had great water pressure.
We only occasionally heard road noise, and the property felt truly private. We will definitely be back in the future

Loved our weekend staycation here! Abby was so communicative and helpful leading up to the trip and get around the area (due to dirt roads, etc). The home was the perfect size for us (two humans and a pup) and was so cozy.
