Learn more about this land: River status: Swimmable but stopped flowing as of 6/28 Camp on our small piece of paradise located near Yosemite. We are a family of 5 (me, my husband, our two toddlers and our dog, River) living on 5 acres of mountain land in the foothills of the Sierras complete with an outdoor shower and bath and also flowing (seasonal) stream that you can swim in. Feel free to wander around the property on a few of our trails or just chill by the water and enjoy the magic of the mountains. Our property is about a 55 min drive to the Yosemite entrance. PLUS another 15 mins to the main attractions. Dogs are more than welcome as long as they are ok with our dog wandering around. He’s super sweet loves everybody.

I began to share the experiences with my animals by offering a unique farm tour called coffee with Critters and I find that I really enjoy sharing this lifestyle with like minded folk. If you love animals and want to camp near them please join me. Learn more about this land: Your campsite will be nestled among animal enclosures, listen to the munching of hay or the snorting of the horse. Your stay will include a modified animal tour and you can engage with horse, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and more... dogs and cats of course ;). I have a couple of spots but I would be flexible regarding campsite. My toilet is a compost toilet.  The outside shower has been upgraded with privacy curtains etc following suggetions from previous campers ;) I have a million $$ view and a modest house. My house is about 45 minutes from the Yosemite park entrance and it's an easy commute back/forth. Flowering vines cover my outdoor porches where we have big dinners when Wwoofers or Couchsurfers are in residence. The property is home to many animals, horse, goats, pigs, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs - dogs & cats - of course! :-) . The roosters wake us up pretty early so fair warning about that - but I love living with them and it makes the property so much more friendly with all the critters. My house is pet friendly and yours are welcome if they are 1. Fixed, 2. Are social and friendly with my pets, 3. Will not chase the cats and chickens. I can babysit your pups if you go to the park - provided they are compliant with rules above. I work from home. There are loads of trails nearby and 2 pretty ponds and plenty of wildlife, deer, turkeys and more. The property is rolling hills however there are plenty of flat areas for tents. NO FIRES PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON MY PROPERTY APRIL-OCTOBER - non negotiable.

Fire up the BBQ (Traeger & Blackstone Grill), play some cornhole, and enjoy the pool! The owner lives in the main house and is available 24/7 to make your stay awesome. The RV has all the amenities you will need and is located near Yosemite, Kings, and Sequoia National Parks. Take in the views of the Sierra Mountain Range on the horizon above our pasture. Sleeping in my tent on a deck built into a granite boulder overlooking a babbling creek - the ultimate sound machine for zzz’s - was every bit the experience I imagined it would be! And the outside tub was clutch at the end of a long day exploring Yosemite in its winter majesty. The hottest water (and plenty more when you need to heat it back up.. you won’t want to get out, ha!) felt amazing under the stars! So special. Definitely coming back.. Besutful property, otherwise, as well. Tucked back in an obviously upper class neighborhood, so I felt very safe, and truthfully lucky to have what I did so close to the park!

Weekend Trip to Little Piece of Yosemite

We stayed in our RV and loved it. The scenery was beautiful, the site was level and easy to access, and the rocks were fun to explore. I imagine it’s even better when the creek is flowing. The drive to Yosemite’s Southgate was less than an hour, and I highly recommend a stop at the California State Mining and Mineral Museum. We hope to return!

3 nights at Clovis County RV Campers with Pool!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to the national parks, and Clovis is such a charming town. As a family of four (two adults and two kids), the RV was just right for us: comfortable, cozy, and with everything we needed. The pool was a big hit, and we loved having it to relax after our outings. We visited Yosemite and even stopped by the waterpark in Fresno on our way out, which made the trip extra fun. The host was very welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to The Westside Island

Amazing space! Super nice and clean restrooms. They had everyone talking! All the great upkeep and maintenance on this place definitely didn’t go unnoticed. Gorgeous spot and perfect for a large group like ours. Thank you guys we definitely will be back! A lot of amazing memories made here.

1 night at Little Piece of Yosemite

Spot is beautiful, quiet, private, and well located for nature day trips. There was some shade in morning and evening. River is beautiful but was not running (when we visited in July). Deck shown in pictures is not adjacent to camping spot — it’s down the hill in a separate area. Shower was great touch. Come prepared to dig a hole to poop across the road or drive into town. Christian was helpful and quick to respond. It worked very well over all for our group. Thanks Christian!

Really friendly host, beautiful spot and our son had a wonderful time looking at the animals. It was a great stop off en route to Yosemite. There were lots of options for parking spots and everything was super clean.

Mona’s place was amazing. It was so peaceful and comforting. The trailer was great and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Dale was so welcoming and was around just in case we needed anything. The kids loved the river and had a blast. I can’t wait to stay here again.
