The headwaters of the Santa Ana and Mojave rivers offer premier wild trout streams such as Bear Creek, accessible only by foot. Family favorite: Stargazing from the hot tub. My favorite: Quiet morning coffee on the deck with the sunrise. We love camping in JT, but now we are spoiled with this incredible privacy and sanctuary from the crowds. The location was perfect and had an attached path to explore the area below. Super quiet for my reactive pup where it’s just you at the site. The deck was fabulous and the included grill/cooking utensils was great. Serina was also super accommodating and responded quickly in the chat. If heading over when raining, the site is still accessible though I do recommend using a car with higher clearance as some of the unpaved roads in the surrounding neighborhood can get quite rough. No issue with my AWD and the road itself leading up to the cabin as it was well maintained.

Angel's Nest is a gem - especially at the price! It's a beautiful mountain cabin that has family entertainment in mind. We played shuffleboard all afternoon and switched it up with the arcade machine and basketball; the kids had a blast! Really lovely kitchen, bedrooms and living areas as well! Great for a family mountain getaway. Only warning is: there are lots of stairs and a very steep driveway. Keep that in mind when if that's an issue for you. Martin was also very responsive and hospitable! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful stay, the bnb was everything we were hoping for. Very secluded, very close to the park, very clean, and stocked with cute little touches. I would absolutely come back to stay here again. My only notes that were non-issues for me: DO NOT IGNORE THE GIVEN DIRECTIONS! Seriously follow the directions given as some of the side roads can get fairly sandy. If you get lost or try to make your own detour, you might get stuck if you're in a smaller sedan. However, if you follow the map provided you can absolutely reach the property in a car that is not 4WD/AWD. Wifi. Wifi on the property is not the best, however signal is fairly strong and I never had an issue loading anything up just off my personal data. If you are planning on staying here and working remotely I'd ensure you have hotspotting available. Even if not, there are tons of cute cafes nearby! To end, this stay was amazing. I wouldn't let any of these scare you away from this spot. More things to be aware of. We genuinely loved this location and could not recommend it enough.
