We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it.
We offer full hookups which consists of 50 amp & 110 volt electrical outlets, potable water, sewage dump. We also have one pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer.
Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. Ask the host for discount passes or complimentary tasting cards for some of the local wineries.
We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River.

Originally settled and farmed in the early 1900's by a family of Italian immigrants, from who the lane is named.
One acre is our family compound, two acres are forest preserve, and the other two acres are the orchard - where the parking sites have been integrated.
The orchard has many different fruit trees including heritage Gravenstein apples that were originally planted by the family from Italy. The Gravensteins are ripe between mid July to mid August. The orchard borders a forest with old growth Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Bay Laurel, Oaks, and Madrone. Some wildlife passes through the orchard, especially birds. The site offers great star gazing, sun rises, moon rises and access to a charming walk on a beautiful country lane for sunsets. We highly recommend visiting for the Spring bloom in April and May for a temperate tropical experience.
A Two minute drive to Occidental, and a twenty minute drive to the beaches of the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River. Upper Lake is a sleepy little town surrounded by lakes and wilderness but just a half hour from major freeways. The lot is in town with mature fruit trees, a seasonal creek in back and friendly live-and-let-live neighbors. The water is from a hose connected to city water, and there is a rudimentary composting toilet in the garden shed. I’ll have by on explain it to you. Lot is long enough that 2 parties could camp on either end w/ good privacy. My RV sits there too, in the long driveway w/ plenty more space. Fine to park in driveway or on grass.
Nearby Clear Lake is great for boating and fishing, and nearby Blue Lakes are breathtaking and pristine, great for swimming. The town 2 blocks away has a high-end mostly organic restaurant with local bands most nights and weekends, and there is also a moderate priced fabulous brunch place a few blocks away (Judy’s), a coffee shop, and other little shops including grocery with deli.
Good place to stop and stock up. There's even a Baskin Robbins a quick drive down the road, and gas and propane fillups.

We have a recreational area for guest to join together and have a campfire this time of year. the fire season will probably end July or thereabouts.

We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it.
We offer full hookups which consists of 50 amp & 110 volt electrical outlets, potable water, sewage dump. We also have one pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer.
Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. Ask the host for discount passes or complimentary tasting cards for some of the local wineries.
We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River.

Originally settled and farmed in the early 1900's by a family of Italian immigrants, from who the lane is named.
One acre is our family compound, two acres are forest preserve, and the other two acres are the orchard - where the parking sites have been integrated.
The orchard has many different fruit trees including heritage Gravenstein apples that were originally planted by the family from Italy. The Gravensteins are ripe between mid July to mid August. The orchard borders a forest with old growth Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Bay Laurel, Oaks, and Madrone. Some wildlife passes through the orchard, especially birds. The site offers great star gazing, sun rises, moon rises and access to a charming walk on a beautiful country lane for sunsets. We highly recommend visiting for the Spring bloom in April and May for a temperate tropical experience.
A Two minute drive to Occidental, and a twenty minute drive to the beaches of the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River. Upper Lake is a sleepy little town surrounded by lakes and wilderness but just a half hour from major freeways. The lot is in town with mature fruit trees, a seasonal creek in back and friendly live-and-let-live neighbors. The water is from a hose connected to city water, and there is a rudimentary composting toilet in the garden shed. I’ll have by on explain it to you. Lot is long enough that 2 parties could camp on either end w/ good privacy. My RV sits there too, in the long driveway w/ plenty more space. Fine to park in driveway or on grass.
Nearby Clear Lake is great for boating and fishing, and nearby Blue Lakes are breathtaking and pristine, great for swimming. The town 2 blocks away has a high-end mostly organic restaurant with local bands most nights and weekends, and there is also a moderate priced fabulous brunch place a few blocks away (Judy’s), a coffee shop, and other little shops including grocery with deli.
Good place to stop and stock up. There's even a Baskin Robbins a quick drive down the road, and gas and propane fillups.

Directions were excellent and contact/communication were great. The spot is clearly marked and conveniently had water, power and a trash bin for use.
I had an issue with the power/extension cord initially. Let the host know and I believe it was fixed later at night. It wasn’t a huge issue as my solar battery had enough power for making coffee and using microwave in the morning. My heater worked off regular battery.
The location is convenient to get to downtown, which I did. It was all lit up for the Plaza lighting that evening. So fun!

I liked it so much that I stayed an extra day. Can't wait to come again in the spring. Joseph was cutting branches, so I was able to meet him, and the dogs came to greet us as well! Beautiful sites surrounded by an old apple orchard. Very quiet, close to Occidental (5 min by car) and only 20 minutes to the coast.
No bathrooms. Minimal running water. You need to bring your own (rv best, or potty arrangement).
Owner has 2 friendly dogs. They WILL visit you. Our large dog enjoyed them but if your dog(s) is not social, you could have issues.
We will definitely return. We are fully set up to camp off the grid.
