There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. You will need to keep food inside of the Cabin/Sauna because we share the space with the animals that live here. The pond is shared with one other neighbor, so you may see other people playing on the pond or hear nearby activity through the trees. It's a great place to hang your hammock and bring a good book or birdwatch. Frolic has been an adventure for me in Saying Yes to life and the rewarding challenges it brings. I fell in love with the huge grama oaks, the pristine pond and the feral overgrown everything. It has been a workin' progress and lots of time to sweat, craft, pause and listen. The property is shaped like a pint glass, running north to south, with a lovely bowl the pond sits in and an ancient meadow up behind the cabin full of apples 🍎 & pears 🍐. Up the hill, a hotter zone, more exposed with its own beauty, where we live. On the occasion, one of us may come down to the pond for a swim, especially when it's too hot up top. We have ponderosa pines, scrub oak and a few valley oak on the property. We also have goats that you are welcome to visit. You will be close to hiking, biking trails, lakes and only an hour from Lake Tahoe. There is no lack of activities. We are also located right next door to a vineyard that, after a short walk, allows views of the entire Sierra Foothills to the Mountains and down to the valley. Welcome to Coco, the 1970 Overlander 27’ Airstream! We have tried to preserve her 50-year-old charm as much as possible and are still in the process of restoring her to her original glory. Our family of 4 humans, two dogs, and one guinea pig lived in Coco while our house was being built. It was quite an adventure! Coco is nestled in the foothills of the Sierras on our semi-private 4-acre property. Easy access to Grass Valley, Nevada City, and the Yuba River. Coco the Airstream is fully functional with a kitchen and bathroom. There is one full-ish size bed that sleeps two comfortably in the bedroom area, and the couch can fold into one twin-sized bed. We are located about 15 minutes to town and 10 to the nearest grocery store. Coco the Airstream shares the property with a private family of four humans and two dogs in a house at the top of the hill. My parents are full time RVers and often stay in the other RV spot on our property throughout the year when they are taking a break from traveling. This is an incredible property with an incredible host! I camped at Willow springs, and really enjoyed the lushness of the willows, the privacy, and watching the Beavers, Owls and Hawks. I also stayed a week in Tiny Blue which was a little slice of heaven!! I loved all the books, the view and it was super comfy! The tiny kitchen and bathroom nearby were absolutely perfect and I didn't need to leave the property for anything for many days. Wendy is so enthusiastic and hands on, you can really tell she loves what she does and has built a beautiful sanctuary for artists, writers, creative types and those that are in need of some sanctuary. I Especially encourage women who are Solo camping to spend some time at this beautiful location! I can't wait to come back next year!🌀

Weekend Trip to Om Sweet Om Farm

Dustin and Om's land, farm, Glampgalore retreat was perfect for our 4 month old's first camping experience. The tent was so cozy, thoughtfully decorated and organized with string lights, a comfortable bed, dresser, side table, and cooking wares. Our dogs had a blast walking the beautiful trails all around and we had the best time feeding acorns to the goats and the cutest pigs you will ever meet. Being followed around by a gaggle of chickens, guinea hens, ducks, and one curious turkey made our trip all the more sweet. Dustin and Om are the best hosts we have ever had on Hipcamp and we will definitely be back in the spring!

Nice and quiet spot with everything you might need provided. The neighbors dog Abby greeted us every day and she was a sweetheart. The teepee was decked out in a comfy World Market boho vibe and even had a mini fridge. Oh and the sheets were the softest. Nice bathroom not far from the sight. If you are cooking at night by the bathroom, it's a bit dark. Just turn on the bathroom light and pull back the curtain, that will help. The teepee did have a smokey smell due to the fires inside, but I am sensitive to that kind of thing. Overall loved the place and would camp here again.

I loved staying at Tiny Blue! The solace was much needed and the space is comfortable with incredible views. The beaver pond is very sweet and the resident llama is awesome. Wendy gave very clear directions and is available if anything comes up. There’s even an outdoor kitchen and a fire pit! I will be staying here again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The space was cute, cozy, and modern, with a clean and comfortable feel that balanced nicely with the peaceful countryside surroundings. The adorable animals made it even more special — the friendly farm dog, Leo, was so sweet and social, and the pigs were just a short walk down the hill from the space and so much fun to visit. The host was very kind and responsive, which made everything smooth and easy. It was a wonderful spot to relax and spend time together. Would definitely recommend!

The most unique hipcamp I've ever been! So much to do and so much to see, we had tons of fun! Main cabin is extremely comfty, equipped with everything you need. Deja is super friendly and flexible to our last min change, truly appreciate the flexibility. Oh, did I mention Deja's hipcamp is only 10 mins away from Oregon Creek? We spent whole day there it's so beautiful. It's perfect in every way, we will definitely come back.

My whole family had a very relaxing weekend and we all had fun at the farm tour. I also liked that it was less than 30 min drive to the river. The hosts are very nice and friendly.

Dustin and Om’s land is so incredibly beautiful and well loved, they were such outstandingly caring hosts, and the attention to detail + comfort made this such a wonderful trip. The camping tent is beautiful, very clean and comfortable and the sweetie guard dog Billy made us feel so safe and welcome especially since we came in late at night. He keeps the bears and mountain lions away and very politely asks for morning pets in return. Dustin and Om communicated quickly and kindly, and really went above and beyond to help me replace my tire when it blew out on the road nearby- even coming out to meet us and sending us to a trusted nearby garage after. Truly dream hosts who helped make a very special trip go smoothly after some big unexpected hiccups. They really thought of everything you could need to stay comfy, the bed was so good for us, and even the hand built compost toilet was so ingenious- well ventilated, comfortable, clean. Light cooking was easy with the provided kitchen utensils and butane stove, and the dining area outside the tent is soooo peaceful. The area with the tent is private amongst some gorgeous trees, with solar lights that made the place feel magical at night. The ceremony tent is also a very beautiful and special place. All the animals are so well cared for and sweet, it’s truly a family full of love and many vibrant personalities. This place is such a peaceful haven in an unpredictable world, and we are so grateful. Will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Sierra Sol Camp

I held my Bachelorette party at Sierra Sol and it was a glorious space for us. We had 20 people, all slept comfortably, plenty of beds and chairs. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and lawn the most. Deja's property had everything you'll need! Plenty of cups, plates, silverware, pots, pans, etc. The water tasted great. We loved the cold plunge tubs outside as well. The oregon creek day use area was a 10 minute drive. We met many of the folks who work on and care for the property and it is filled with love. Cannot wait to return! Thank you Sierra Sol
