The sunrise is like a painting, the mountain views are beautiful and the night sky is littered with stars. Because of its remote location, you'll enjoy peace and quiet and Million Dollar views.
Just a 15 min drive to Tortoise Rock casino and the Oasis Visitor Center at Joshua Tree. Explore other famous sites such as the Integratron, Giant Rock and Pappy & Harriets Palace just under an hour away. Google the King of Hammers when they are in town, super cool event!
Please walk and drive around the property carefully as the land is unkempt and wildlife is present. We are not liable for your adventures, please use your best judgment.
The roads are unpaved so we suggest high clearance, 4 x 4 type vehicles. Please keep to the already traveled roads and paths, be respectful not to drive over plants, trees etc. Do not disturb the beauty of our land. Although unkempt, its raw nature is beautiful and meaningful to us.

This is a great RV spot to explore the Salton Sea, stargaze, or crash for a night during your road trip. You can also ATV the heck out of the place (you'll see the path directly at the back of the property).
You may tent camp, but there are days/nights where it can get very windy. Check the forecast.
UPDATE: There is a recently installed fire pit to help you stay warm or cook up a feed. Be safe and have at it.
PLEASE NOTE: Ground is very soft. I did have a friend drive an RV on it without issue, but just be aware.

There are outdoor furnitures, tables and chairs, a grill, and a fireplace. The famous Joshua Tree National Park is only 10 minutes away, it’s close to the North Entrance of the National Park. I will be around to help you if you have any request. Enjoy your time here.
It is not a paved road to get here, like 6 houses of unpaved road. Use Apple GPS app is better than Google maps, you can get lost with Google.

The sunrise is like a painting, the mountain views are beautiful and the night sky is littered with stars. Because of its remote location, you'll enjoy peace and quiet and Million Dollar views.
Just a 15 min drive to Tortoise Rock casino and the Oasis Visitor Center at Joshua Tree. Explore other famous sites such as the Integratron, Giant Rock and Pappy & Harriets Palace just under an hour away. Google the King of Hammers when they are in town, super cool event!
Please walk and drive around the property carefully as the land is unkempt and wildlife is present. We are not liable for your adventures, please use your best judgment.
The roads are unpaved so we suggest high clearance, 4 x 4 type vehicles. Please keep to the already traveled roads and paths, be respectful not to drive over plants, trees etc. Do not disturb the beauty of our land. Although unkempt, its raw nature is beautiful and meaningful to us.

This is a great RV spot to explore the Salton Sea, stargaze, or crash for a night during your road trip. You can also ATV the heck out of the place (you'll see the path directly at the back of the property).
You may tent camp, but there are days/nights where it can get very windy. Check the forecast.
UPDATE: There is a recently installed fire pit to help you stay warm or cook up a feed. Be safe and have at it.
PLEASE NOTE: Ground is very soft. I did have a friend drive an RV on it without issue, but just be aware.

It is not a paved road to get here, like 6 houses of unpaved road. Use Apple GPS app is better than Google maps, you can get lost with Google.
Places to go: Kitchen in the Desert, AutoCamp,, Mas O Menos Restaurant, 29Palms Beer, downtown Joshua Tree… Yoga in the morning, hike the park, and wine at night!

5 acres of land of peace and tranquility. It’s a camping site for RVs, tents, and car camping. It’s an amazing feel to be out in nature—sunsets, sunrises, morning walks, and morning hikes.
In the springtime, the wildflowers are everywhere, like a flower field. No toilet, no water; dry camping only. Some furniture and a fireplace are available.
The place is super dark after sunset and there are no lights here, so please arrive before it gets dark out. It’s a place for all the galaxy and stars.

Vanishing Rock and Daisy Mae are both fantastic sites! My group and I had an amazing experience. The views are spectacular, the hikes are plentiful, and the stars are endless. There was no one around as far as we could see. Teala is a great host and responded very well to questions when we were finding our way to the grounds. I’d highly recommend!

My family and I had such a great glamping experience at Mojave Country Club. Our family of 3 stayed at the Cactus Jack and had access to all the amenities one could ask for a memorable family road trip. We really appreciated the desert chic theme, it really elevated the space and overall experience. The open space, activities for all ages, proximity to Joshua Tree National Park and the best view of the night sky right from outside of our yurt. It was simply a magical a place to disconnect from rest of the world and enjoy with my favorite people. Dayne and his daughter are also great hosts and super responsive. We’ll definitely have to plan for a return trip soon.

Rebecca’s land was incredible. The views were unreal, the site felt private, and there was plenty of space. We pulled in with a 30ft RV and had zero issues getting in and out. Rebecca also approved a second vehicle so we could explore without moving the RV, and she sent super detailed, thorough directions and info ahead of time. The outhouse was spotless. We had a wonderful time at River Sand’s! The 2 bedroom + loft was perfect for our family of 4. It felt like our cosy home was plopped down in the middle of a desert oasis! Surrounded by nature, RVs, campers, and sky! The clubhouse and pool were our favorite part, and make it feel like a resort hotel. We would definitely rent a cabin again, but plan to come back to camp as well. The laundry and shower facilities were a plus! The staff is so friendly and covered every detail! Highly recommended!

Lovely grounds and host! I went for tent camping and Jonesy really makes this space cozy and special. The camping spot is spacious and open, with firepit and table provided, and it was great to have such well-thought out amenities just a walk away. The provided bathroom was convenient, but when a big party arrived it became very busy so having a backup bathroom plan when tent camping is recommended. Overall would definitely return, especially when the sites at Joshua Tree are all booked up!
