We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding. Loved everything about Sana and William’s - we were greeted by Meowsicle the cat upon our arrival, we enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the forest and ocean views straight from our tent, and ate farm fresh eggs every morning! We also loved being visited by the friendly goats (who loved chin scratches). Sana and William were both very friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. I would absolutely stay here again.

The location is a four minute drive to castle rock state park, the house is stocked with everything you may need including a full bar, seltzers and sodas, FRESH EGGS, and snacks (just bring your favorite creamer and bread for the perfect breakfast each morning)! Our favorite part of the trip was the tub outside overlooking the lake that can be swam in along with their friendly fur animals that you can feed! Highly recommend and hope to be back!

The tent cabins are built on the side of a steep hill so the trails down to them are rugged, but there are steps and railings to assist. The cabins are very comfortable and have everything you need. The goats are fun to interact with. The eggs from the chickens are really good. The view is spectacular and the hosts are extremely accommodating.

my partner and i stayed at Sana's camp for our anniversary, and it was the most perfect overnight trip to celebrate! even before arriving, Sana had been very responsive to any questions i had and was very prompt with responses throughout our stay as well. the moment we arrived, we were greeted by their friendly cat (the best way to start the stay) and then Sana welcomed us and showed us around. we were immediately enamoured with the charm of the place, and the view from our tent was so beautiful! the campsite amenities were thoughtful, comprehensive, and clean. i don't think i'd ever been camping with such clean and tidy amenities before! and they even had complimentary eggs for us from their chicken coop! so sweet! each tent was far enough from each other to offer ample privacy while also not feeling too isolated. our tent specifically came with a rope hammock to lay in! this is indeed a very romantic spot so perfect for any couples celebrating. i would definitely visit again and recommend to my friends! thank you Sana! :)

My mom came out to visit from Northern Minnesota so I wanted some quiet time out of the city (I live in Oakland) and this was the perfect mix of quiet camping, and convenience. The full outdoor kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts and dinners, the beds in the tent were SOO comfortable and cozy, and we got firewood from Julie on our second night and had a wonderful campfire. The sites are close together, so it wouldn't be a place I'd go if I wanted privacy, but everyone there was respectful of quiet hours. Great spot, would definitely go back.

I stayed in Tent #2 with my sister and it exceeded our expectations. The view was unreal, everything was so clean, bed was comfortable and only a short little inclined walk to the bathroom. We love sharing our bounty. :) The space An actual hidden cottage tucked into a space full of vegetable and flower gardens. A six-chicken coop also runs the length of one side of the yard. There's also a private patio area to relax and unwind. The cottage is cute and simple, with an attic-like staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom. Enjoy your privacy in this unique and quaint space. P.S. This space may not be the best suited for elderly, disabled, or very young guests. Guest access The entire cottage is all yours, with a private entryway. We have an open patio area just outside the cottage with outdoor seating and tables. There is also a charcoal barbecue available upon request, as the hosts may be using it. It is a great spot to sit and unwind while watching and listening to the chickens, watching the sun set, and gazing. The garden area is shared with the hosts. Other things to note You, as our guest, always have privacy in the indoors of your space. The outside areas are mostly shared between my family, pets, and our guests, but the outdoor patio is all yours(we only access this when guests are present if we need to do some yard work). Enjoy yourselves, and be wary of doggies when pulling in the driveway! It is an in-laws quarters type house and shares one wall with the main house of the property. The door that connects the homes is completely sealed off and inaccessible to both parties. Please keep in mind that this is not a space suitable for very young, disabled, or elderly guests, due to the attic-like staircase mentioned above.

Stairs are very steep to loft, with open railing upstairs. Please review pic's before booking. Adults only. The larger main cabin on property, is rented separately. Our cabin is in the Santa Lucia mountains and immersed in nature. Please be aware that wildlife is apart of the rugged Big Sur Coast and mountains. Wildlife encounters are something that is not out of the ordinary. From raccoons, skunks, deer, mountain lions, bats, mice, spiders snakes and all types of birds. We have exceeded measures of to keep occurrances to a minimum and have monthly pest control services. BUT can't guarantee you will not be met with wildlife. ANY ENCOUNTERS DURING YOUR STAY, WILL NOT BE ISSUED A REFUND. If you do not feel comfortable with the paragraph, then please do not book our cabins. Recommendations in Big Sur is Ventana Inn, Post Ranch or something in Carmel or Monterey. 1 Dog allowed, pre-approved by owner and $70fee. No aggressive breeds. Under 50 lbs.
