We are off-grid with no amenities from the city so please be mindful of how much trash you’ll leave behind. If drinking alcoholic beverages we ask that campers take their empties. Ask for a bag if you need it. It’s always a journey finding the magical places so just a sweet heads up our mountain dirt road is a bit bumpy. Cars make it up all the time. Be sure to drive at a steady pace (second gear is good) on the way up and don’t stop till you see the Welcome sign! You will be greeted by one of our wonderful residents.... Or myself! The Mesa has views for miles

Sandia was the original owner and mother medicine woman of the land who passed away in 1998 ♾💜 so as homage to her we call it Sandia Ranch. The Mesa portion of Sandra Ranch was used by the elders of Harbin to set people on there vision quest in the old days. Your camp site is at the end of the road and very private. The main house is pretty much out of sight but close enough if you need anything. The views of the mountains, Jerusalem Valley and soda creek are amazing and endless!! Our ranch is nudest friendly and Harbin hot Springs is 20 minute drive from the Mesa. Your campsite has a cast iron tub for soaking day or night and an on demand hot water heater power shower when solar is not available. Water is piped to camp however we are an absolutely NO camp fire camp until further notice. Thank you for understanding ♾🙏 This is a ranch with many animals including four sweet but dirty dogs, a pony, goat, 4 ducks, 3 turkeys and a few chickens running around.... Although they all hang out by the main house for the most part you might be visited by the free rangers...especially if you dish out any petting be prepared to give some more 😂 If animals aren’t your thing just tell them to go home they understand that! Because of the high amount of animals here that are free range dogs are not allowed at this time sorry..... anyone under 18 must be under parental supervision at ALL times. The cliffs here are very dangerous and must be respected by all ages with a safe distance back of five to ten feet from the edge at all times. Guests love staying here: "Elderberry camp was really great! It was a large site, plenty of space, shade, and parking. Very peaceful and good distance between other sites although we were pretty much the only campers out there. Outhouse was clean and there was drinking water. We spent most of our Saturday in Eel River which was great. The water was perfect for swimming and fishing, our husbands caught some big ones. Soon after I went feral. This 55 acre property is part of a sprawling 5500 acre homeowner's association, protected by covenants set into place by the hippies who invaded Mendocino County in the 70's. My childhood was spent roaming the woods with my little nekkie buddies, learning how to breathe in the land's wisdom in every nook and cranny. It is my honor and pleasure to share it with you. Please help me protect this land for all the generations, not just humans, but for all the creatures who call this place home. I call this campsite "Truly Scrumptious" because my childhood kitty cat is buried here under the big oak tree, and her name was Truly Scrumptious. I named her after the leading lady in the movie Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang. When you come to visit my land, you will be sharing sacred ground with me. The cabin comes with a stocked library, record player, a kitchenette, tea ceremony room, and an incredible creekside view with a garden. Within a 2 min drive is the village center with coffee, groceries, pizza ... This cabin is a duplex and I live upstairs part-time and split time with San Francisco. Your cabin unit is private with its own entrance and deck. If I'm available, I'm happy to meet/greet, otherwise available via text/phone.
