From June to October the 100+ area open meadow is filled with horses grazing and galloping about (please don't pet or feed!) A four-seasons destination, the Ranch has year-round experiences with warm summers and snowy winters. An excellent basecamp, within close proximity to the lake, ski slopes, Pinnacles, hiking/biking and off-roading trails. After a day filled with adventure or ultimate relaxation, be sure to enjoy the breath-taking sunsets over the meadow. The evenings blanket guests with a sea of stars. Toast up some s’mores and warm up some hot-coco over a beautiful, crackling campfire. Remember the s’mores and always follow the “Leave No Trace” principles. 3 nights at The White Lodge

Such a cute, private spot near the city. The canned ham may be small but it is so cozy and full of character. The bed was very comfy, and we appreciated a kettle being provided. We did need to pick up our own mugs, so keep that in mind if you like a warm beverage in the morning. The cooler is convenient, but we wouldn’t advise expecting it to function as a fridge. The space around the camper is very private feeling with trees around it. The hot tub is such a lovely addition and was fun to use. The whole property is very dreamy. There was plenty of space for eating outdoors. Although the weather for us didn’t permit using the pool, it was so beautiful to look at. The bathroom is just a short walk away, and has awesome decor. We would advise bringing sandals or slides for walking to and from the bathroom and shower. The shower is a fun experience, although it’s important to note it’s quite small (width wise) to enter into the cave area. It’s not feasible for dressing in there, so you will also need to be comfortable walking back in your towel or a robe. The road to the home is very steep and narrow. Street parking is limited but we didn’t have an issue finding parking every night, even when we came back later. There are a couple of cats on the property that visited us and were so cute and friendly. We also got to meet Morgan who was very helpful and kind! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

The Nook is AMAZING! Don't even question it, it is a perfect get away, trails throughout the area, privacy and surrounded by nature. Bring that 4WD and prepare to enjoy :)

Loved staying at the Nook. It was so peaceful and comfy. We had everything that we needed. Just brought clothes and food. I would definitely recommend to stay at the Nook if you want some peace and quiet.

2 nights at Holcomb Valley Ranch

Had a great stay tent camping on the Holcomb ranch! Plenty of trees, views, and spots to explore or just hang out. The campsites are well maintained and spaced out from one another with access to individual fire pits and porta-potties. We were a group of 4 with 2 cars and 3 tents, and had more space on the site than we truly knew what to do with. We went mid- November and the first night was pretty cold with it getting just below freezing so make sure you're coming prepared. Special thanks to the camp manager for our stay, Ed -- he was great with prompt contact and instructions for arrival, friendly check ups and information about the site, guidelines, and the area.

1 night at Holcomb Valley Ranch

We had a good time doing a girls camping trip. There was ample space between us and the other campers, there were lots of trees but also great clearing to see the sky, there was a firepit, picnic table, my dog enjoyed exploring the area, and they left water for us to put the fires out. They called to check-in that we were coming, stopped by our site to see how we were doing, and provided clear directions. Already recommended the site to other families! 10/10

Had a great time celebrating my 30th birthday here. Our hosts were very friendly and hospitable. I appreciated having a clean porta potty, running water and a well lit area already set up for us. Amazing views as well. Definitely would come back!

Weekend Trip to Kingsfoil Hollow

Christine's HipCamp was an excellent setting for a quick weekend camp for our family. Nestled in the middle of several apple orchards along Oak Glen Road, the location was perfect for enjoying the local activities and atmosphere. Christine proved to be a gracious and helpful hostess, and her cats served as campsite companions that were greatly enjoyed by the family.

Weekend Trip to Holcomb Valley Ranch

The sites were decently far apart and camping in November was absolutely perfect. There weren't that many people around and the whole place was quiet. It's not the easiest road to traverse - mostly our dogs didn't like all the rocking. But overall, I would definitely come back - even if it were during the busy season. Our dogs absolutely loved being able to run around and play.

We loved our stay in the Tinned Ham Camper! The property itself was amazing with kitschy and fun decor, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and adorable cats. My favorite part of our stay was the hot tub just a couple steps from our door. We also loved that even though we’re in the middle of Eagle Rock it felt like we traveled to somewhere secluded and romantic. I can’t wait to return here!

We absolutely loved our stay at Holcomb Valley Ranch. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious — you truly feel like you have the whole place to yourself. It was exactly the kind of quiet, scenic escape we were looking for. The location strikes the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience, with thoughtful amenities like clean toilets, a reliable water supply, and a dumpster on-site. Wonderful services and even better property. Everything from the bathroom decor and the interior of the teardrop trailer, to the small details around the yard that made the experience live up to its name. The hosts hospitality and responsiveness to our delays in arrival was very earnest and friendly, and their service was overall wonderful. Very cozy, very pampering, amazing hot tub. We didn’t get to use the beautiful pool with waterslide and grotto. And I haven’t even mentioned the great view, the awesome cave shower and the many kitties roaming around. A perfect getaway. Recommend 100%
