A seasonal 2 acre pond. We are about 25mi from sequoia and Kings Canyon right off the Highway 180 and a close drive from restaurants, stores. Beautiful views. We strive to make sure you have an amazing experience in the outdoors. We are still working on making the campground 100% so sorry in advance but what we are lacking we will make up for it with making your experience memorable hope to meet everyone soon

While on a family backpacking excursion through Sequoia King’s Canyon National Park, and the surrounding area, we came across this charming campground. A long-forgotten chapel in the mountains that was formerly a summer camp.
From here, a short 15-minute drive will take you directly to the main entrance of Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park for access to the Giant Sequoias at Grant Grove and the Grant Grove Village. For those who prefer to travel off the beaten path, a short 30-minute hike will take you to the National Forest.

Weekend Trip to Sequoia Highland Camp
We had a blast at yurt 17 and are already looking at dates to come back! Our only regret was that we did not stay longer. The yurt is equipped with staple amenities including a kettle and fridge. It has power and to our surprise WiFi. We stayed in mid October and I do wish we would have brought a couple extra blankets as it was pretty chilly even though there seemed to be a heater in the yurt. The yurt has plenty of privacy and we felt like we had the whole camp to ourselves.
The communal bath house was very clean and several bathroom stalls and showers which made it really nice to be able to get in and out.
The stargazing area was also amazing! We saw the milkyway and several constellations! Definitely make time for this!

What a delight! Our experience at Sierra Highland Camp was nothing short of wonderful, we wish we’d been able to stay longer. We booked an overnight in a yurt; such a comfortable stay complete with cooking gear, BBQ, and heater. The make your own bed set up was clear and easy. The bathroom blocks were great, updated, spacious, and clean. This is a great location to explore the surrounding National Forest, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia NPs. We look forward to returning and spending more time.

Loved staying in our yurt at Sequoia Highland Camp! It was close enough to Sequoia that we were able to go every day and get a good amount of activity in.
Our yurt was clean and comfortable and we were able to access the Wifi from it, which was so nice!
There is a little bit of a hill you have to walk up to get to the yurt and its not the closest one to the bathroom, so take that into consideration when choosing your yurt! But overall it was a great experience

Definitely go here! We had a fantastic stay in one of the yurts; Spencer was very welcoming and we loved meeting his dogs. The views are phenomenal, bathrooms are clean, showers had very hot water and great pressure. 10/10 would stay again!

You have to drive up the cliffs to the most breathtaking views. Not for the faint of heart of heights are an issue. The area was peaceful and quiet and like minded individuals. I think it was simply amazing natural and beautiful place to stay.

Had a great stay at Sequoia Highlands. Stayed in yurt 12. The yurt itself is super cute and very clean inside. There was a queen sized bed and 2 smaller beds. All had memory foam mattresses which were really comfortable and pillows and sheets are available. It was very hot during our stay so we were so happy to have 2 fans to cool down at night. There is also a small fridge and nice pour over coffee system with provided coffee! Communal showers and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. It is pretty remote so stargazing is amazing and beautiful views. We also had some cow friends and quail visit. Host was very responsive to my request to add another night. WiFi worked well. If you want to feel off grid but still have all the convenience of home, this is the place! I would love to stay again.

The yurt was exactly as advertised and the sunset view and stargazing were beautiful and amazing!! It was quiet, secluded and we definitely plan to come back and bring our kids with us. The owners were very responsive and kind when a request was made, even late at night. The local cows were entertaining and seemed friendly. We felt safe and secure. Also the showers and bathroom facilities were more than adequate.

We loved the yurts, super cozy and clean. The bathrooms and showers were also well maintained. The camp had a lot of amenities (mini fridge, cooking utensils, grill), which made the trip super easy. Beautiful campsite. Hosts were very responsive and provided very detailed instructions for check in. Perfect for a weekend getaway to Sequoia and Kings Canyon.
