There is a folder in the bedroom closet of the house over the years. The decorations were here when we bought it so we kept them to preserve the house’s uniqueness. We treasure this house which is nestled amongst the trees and has so many beautiful birds that visit. Many turkeys love to stop by too! This little farm is being brought back to life! Once part of an 160 acre avocado farm now it is a 15 acre little slice of heaven purchased in 2019. Previously the farm had been let go and now our duty is to get it back in shape. We are making steady progress and fall in love with the land more everyday. Currently we are also planting about an acre of lavender which should be a beautiful backdrop come 2024. Ken’s Eagles Nest was the perfect retreat for our babymoon. The cabin was exceptionally cozy and stocked with thoughtful amenities that truly exceeded our expectations — a clean composting toilet, a warm outdoor shower, an easy-to-use outdoor stove, and a great campfire pit for relaxing evenings. The huge windows offered stunning views that made the whole place feel peaceful and connected to nature. We felt comfortable, cared for, and completely recharged. We had an amazing time glamping at Vicki’s. The stars were amazing, the forest calming, and we loved the yoga deck. Vicki was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The land is magical! The beds were super comfy and my young children and older dog really enjoyed themselves. Amazing adventure just over an hour away from home. Warning- we did use our 4 wheel drive to get around certain areas (and we loved it). Not the place to drive a lowriding car. We will most definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at Harrison Serenity Ranch. From the moment we arrived, Vicki welcomed us with so much kindness and made us feel right at home. The property is absolutely beautiful — the views are unbelievable, especially at sunset, and the whole place has a peaceful, secluded vibe that’s perfect for getting away from everything. We also loved meeting the resident pig, who was surprisingly friendly and made the stay even more memorable! The campground was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully set up, and you can tell the hosts genuinely care about the land and the experience they provide. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing, unique getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Dante was great host who offered firewood and use of a canoe. This was a first tent camping trip for my two sons and when it was time to pack up, they both said they wish we had an extra night. We all caught a fish. The relaxing sound of the frogs and owls was perfect. Unzipping the tent door to the view of the lake in the morning was awesome. We saw ducks, turtles, egret, along with a few of Dante’s goats. Very peaceful and remote.

Weekend Trip to Birdsong Backcountry Retreat

I loved staying at Camp Chester! The camper and bathroom are well equipped with just about everything you might need! I loved the little outdoor kitchen. The view from the bathroom is a bonus :) There was plenty of room for my dog to roam around and enjoy all the sniffs! It was so quiet and peaceful. I loved hearing the coyotes at night, the breeze through the trees and the birdsongs. We got to take in a peaceful sunset at Zen Point and enjoy the nature trails around the property. It truly felt private and secluded. This was our second stay at Birdsong, and I’m sure we’ll be back again sometime!

Great spot. Water and power hook up. Easy access. Short walk to the great bar at the bottom of the hill. Only down point is it is located next to two windy roads. Sports cars and bikes use these roads over the weekend, so can sound at times like a F1 race!
