Are you ready to unplug from the world and recharge in nature? This newly built two bedroom, two bath log cabin will help you do just that. You’ll reconnect with love ones since the cabin has NO WIFI but does have a wood burning stove and miles of trails to walk on just outside of the front door. The cabin is conveniently located just minutes from the north entrance of Lassen National Park. For entertainment, I have a TV (no cable)/DVD player with a selection of movies, board games, and reading material including a few books and magazines. There is timber land at the back of the property with plenty of trails to walk or ride a mountain bike (if you bring one). Lassen National Park is a short drive away. Also nearby is lake McCumber. I have a wood burning stove inside that you can use for a fire. Absolutely NO FIRES outside. There is a fire ban in effect, thank you for your cooperation and understanding. I have a propane BBQ outside that you can use, along with a picnic bench and other outside seating. I will provide a selection of tea, hot coco, coffee and oatmeal to get your day started. Be sure to bring food with you since the nearest grocery story is about 9 miles away. I will provide a basket of firewood to use during your stay, but it's a good idea to bring extra since it will go fast. Because you're in the forest, there is limited cell reception so please plan accordingly. I've found that Verizon has some signal while AT&T has none. Since it's meant to get away from it all, not having cell service might be a good thing. :) The master bedroom is on the entire loft floor so there isn't a lock or door that separates the main area downstairs. Just so you're aware. There is a door and lock on the guest bedroom downstairs. All you'll need to bring are your personal items, food for your stay, and extra firewood! Once booked, I will send more helpful tips and information for your stay a week prior to your check in date. Dogs - I allow dogs because I believe they are part of the family, but please notify me if you intend to bring your dog prior to your stay. If there is high wind in the forecast, the electric company, PG&E may turn the power off for safety reasons. They usually notify me a day in advance and I will let you know right away, but I wanted you to know that it might be a possibility during your stay. For Winter Guests: A 4 wheel drive vehicle or car with chains is HIGHLY recommended to travel to the cabin. The main road is paved but there will be snow/ice in the area. The driveway is a slight uphill and is not paved. Please be prepared for snow. ***Approved Shasta County Short Term Rental Permit #STR 20-0013***

Welcome to The Healing Place! Before you book, please BE kind, respectful, sorry NO pets or service animals and please read the entire listing. We have 20 magical acres in beautiful rural McCloud with The Dome right on the creek. With the creek as your view, you’ll have privacy and many acres to roam. This is sacred land, and we hold many events here on this property such as CE5, Spirit Photography and Drum circles. We will let you know ahead of time if there will be an event when you book. We usually host them on the new moon and on a weekend. Loads of wildlife roam these lands so be prepared to see bear, coyote, deer, fox and many species of birds including a Heron live down by the creek. Be mindful of not keeping any food in your car and making sure to place it in the fridge inside the dome. We have a medicine wheel, sacred circle in the meadow across the dome, we usually host our CE5 events there. We are 6 miles away from the McCloud reservoir, 15 mins from McCloud Falls, 5 mins from the town of McCloud and 20 mins to Mount Shasta. The Dome sleeps 2 adults, has electric, 2 bed side lamps that charge phones, with a pillow top mattress, soft cozy kitchen bar with hot water kettle, a french press, , a dining table set, coat rack, and a hammock. Please remove your shoes upon entering the dome, you may want to place them on the coat rack to the right of the door rather than leave them outside as it’s safer. We do not have a cook top stove, or microwave , it’s best to plan to eat out as it’s safer and we don’t get trash service here, I cart it all out myself. Bringing snacks totally ok and can go in the fridge. There’s no fires of any kind that we can allow here so no bbq or cooking. We know all the good spots and will gladly share them. Text me if you need anything, I’m happy to help. The Composting toilet is one of the best on the market, called Natures Head. It’s located outside of the dome for privacy in a king camp tent with everything b you’ll need inside. It’s super easy to work and believe it or not, not so bad to use. Directions are inside the restroom but I’ll relay the important here. NOTHING but #2 goes inside the trap door, no liquid or tp at all as it throws off the compost and I have to clean it all out after someone doesn’t use it properly. The outdoor shower is located near the main home, but built into the forest and private. Signs are posted so you’ll see where to go. We like to give guests what we would want to experience, and it turned out pretty fantastic. The hot water lasts 20 mins and heats up fast. Please keep all shower products naturally based as we are eco friendly and holistically based. Shampoo, conditioner, Body soap will be provided for you here. Note! There are bugs, There are wildlife, this is a glamping experience so please know that when you book, you will know what you’re getting. Although this is luxury glamping it’s still glamping! We placed diatomaceous earth around the dome to help as it’s safe, food grade and non toxic. We aren’t able to have ANY fires on the property, none. Can’t make any exceptions, we’re sorry. That means no bbqing, no smoking on the property. This place is meant to be shared, with nature lovers, conscious creators and spiritual wanderers. Welcome.

Alpen Cellars is a family venture in which each of us take part in the long painstaking process of wine production. From pruning to harvest, crush to fermentation and bottling, we strive for fine wine and a connection to our customers. Welcome.

Alpen Cellars Winery was established on a family ranch in the spring of 1984; it is situated in a picturesque mountain valley at the foot of towering craggy peaks in the rugged Trinity Lake region of Trinity County, California. Alpen Cellars is a family venture in which each of us take part in the long painstaking process of wine production. From pruning to harvest, crush to fermentation and bottling, we strive for fine wine and a connection to our customers. It may seem like an unlikely location to grow wine grapes, but the combination of high elevation and favorable microclimate provide the ideal conditions for early maturing grapes.

After a day of exploring, unwind on the deck, gather around the propane fire pit, or simply enjoy the quiet serenity of nature. Complimentary coffee, tea, pancake mix, and syrup are provided to help you start your day. Guests are encouraged to bring groceries, as the nearest market is approximately 11 miles away and offers limited selection. For a wider variety, we recommend shopping in Anderson, Redding, or Palo Cedro prior to arrival. During the winter months, the cabin is maintained at a consistent temperature of 68–72°F to ensure a comfortable and evenly heated environment throughout your stay. Due to the cabin’s mountain location, cellular service is very limited. A signal booster is available; however, performance may vary depending on your device and carrier. High-speed Starlink Wi-Fi is provided (approximately 195 Mbps download / 43 Mbps upload). For entertainment, the cabin includes a DVD player with a large selection of movies, along with a variety of games for guest enjoyment. In periods of high wind, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) may implement Public Safety Power Shutoffs. Winter storms may also result in power outages. The cabin is equipped with a backup generator, which will be operated intermittently during outages. For winter travel, a four-wheel drive vehicle or tire chains are recommended. Whether you’re seeking adventure or a tranquil escape, this cabin offers a memorable experience in one of Northern California’s most unique and beautiful destinations.
