Welcome to the Amaya Creek Redwood Campground! We are deep in the Santa Cruz mountains and it’s rustic so be prepared! The road is all paved but it can be narrow, bumpy and steep in some areas. Be sure to follow our directions to bypass the road closure! There is no cell phone service in some areas. PLEASE NOTE, we do not have a trash service for the campground, we require all campers to PACK OUT THEIR TRASH with them! We have 40 acres of redwood forest and two creeks running through including the Amaya Creek which serves the boundary of our property at the end of Amayak Creek Trail. There’s also a small waterfall off the Amaya Creek Trail, but it may dry out during the summer. Enjoy hiking, creeks and small waterfall exploration, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, star gazing, relaxation, meditation and more. Our campground has running water from a natural spring, Men and Women's Restrooms each with 2 toilets and 1 FREE hot water shower, utility shed with sink and hot water, and an outdoor amphitheater. The kitchen and washer/dryer is Staff Only not for campers. . Most campsites allow 4-6 guests maximum with 1 car included in the nightly rate. Each additional vehicle is $15 per day and will be added at checkout once you add the correct number of vehicles you will be bringing. Pets are $10 per day, 1 pet per group ONLY. Please add this as an extra at the time of booking, you will see the option to add extras once you begin the checkout process. Dogs must be on leash at all times! Quiet hours are 10pm-8am. No drugs of any kind including marijuana allowed. No loud music allowed. This is a private property so no visitors are allowed, only paid guests. We are a small, working farm with vegetable and flower gardens, chickens and bees. There are many excellent places nearby to hike, walk, surf, swim, tide pool, kayak or just sit and enjoy the view. Our two campsites include water and electric hookups, and are only appropriate for self-contained recreational vehicles and trailers (no tent camping). You will not have another camper next to you! There are no size constraint on RVs or trailers. We have plenty of room for a second vehicle. We do offer a port-a potty. Cell service is very good. The Valley View site can be expanded to two sites, both with water and power hookups. The second site (Valley View 2) can only be booked together with Valley View - please inquire if interested. This is helpful for guests who have separate rigs but want to be close to each other. Our property is a great base camp for your Santa Cruz and Monterey County adventures! We are 15 minutes from Capitola Village, 30 minutes to downtown Santa Cruz and 45 minutes to Monterey. We love to host guests and will provide information about things to do and see in our area. We often loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset Beach, Natural Bridges and more. There is a Dump station 5 minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

This is a peaceful space centrally located in Felton. The Buddha room comes with an outdoor kitchen, a living room, and a shower under the Redwoods under covered patios and pergola. What an amazing place!! Super clean, great views of the strawberry fields, clean Porto potty to use (was serviced day before we arrived), and the hosts were super friendly. Robin made us cookies and gave us fresh eggs from their chickens. Lots of privacy between the 3 camp sites available. Couldn’t have been happier! The beach is only an 8 min walk away and what a phenomenal beach. Dog friendly and super quiet, perfect spot to go surfing and/or watch the surfers. Soft sand and people are friendly. Would definitely recommend to a friend and will be back soon.

Solo traveler. I loved parking my class B RV here with a beautiful view of the Strawberry fields. Manresa State Beach parking lot only 1/2 mile away. A beautiful beach and surf spot with wide, sandy shores. Walk for miles! Hosts were very welcoming, helpful and kind. I felt safe there!

My husband and I were trying out a camper van rental and driving down the coast. This spot is fantastic - it has everything you would have at a typical campground - except the crowds! It’s quiet and peaceful with pretty views of strawberry fields and Ray and Robin are lovely hosts; they gave us fresh eggs! As others have said there is a beautiful beach about an 8 min walk away that is dog friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

I had originally booked site 1 to be closer to the restroom, but was told that someone that was currently staying there extended their stay. Jing was very prompt & kind to offer us other campsites within the area. We ended staying at Site 3 instead, which actually worked out much better in my honest opinion. It was literally right next to the hiking trail that my buddies went on. However site 3 was advertised as (Near Restroom) but it really isn't. It's a pretty long walk up and down a hill to get it. Luckily we paid for the extra car, which ended up being our vehicle to drive to the restroom. I don't think that would make me not recommend to stay at here. We made it work. Overall our stay was super nice, memories were made with friends & family. The redwoods provided so much shade and we felt cool all day. Not to mention sunset was really nice as well. We walked & drove past the group campsite and probably would plan another stay at that site next time. Thank you for the hospitality! We'll be back!

Beautiful trees surround the group site’s flat ground. But each individual campsite looked pristine, the most south ones especially. Plenty of picnic tables, bathrooms suitable, water food. There’s also 15 min hike straight down to a creek. Gorgeous spot!

Nice peaceful spot. Lots of distance from the other campsite, and a lovely view of the strawberries. There’s a little road noise in the site closer to the road, but it’s only occasional, and not too loud – all the trees help with that. And the location was very convenient for a visit to Aptos. Would come back.

My husband and I had such an amazing weekend! Robin welcomed us with freshly baked cookies and eggs from her ‘girls’. Robin and Ray are great hosts and have thought of everything for the campsite. It’s well-appointed with water, and electrical hookups, a sink, garbage cans and recycling, a fire pit, chairs and a picnic table. The sites are very spacious with lovely field views and the beach is less than an 8 minute walk. We can’t wait to return!

Tent camping was great! It's a rustic camping experience, and there is a paved road that is narrow. As long as you pay attention to where you are driving your car will be fine, there are some washed out sections but my large sedan had no issues. The stargazing was beautiful- the bathrooms are SPIDERY which, is normal for rustic camping but does deserve a warning. The small hike was beautiful, as was the creek that the trail goes down to. There is parking by the bathroom, which is also the parking for the "hike in" sites 7 and 11. The sites are about 10 feet and a small staircase away from the parking area. They are also close to the bathroom. If you worry about your car, I would recommend 7, 11, group camping, the yurt, or spot 4a.

Amaya Creek is an absolutely stunning, must-visit campground for anyone looking to truly for peace, feel to nature. The towering redwoods provide incredible shade and privacy, making each site feel like its own secluded forest haven. We particularly loved falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the creek running nearby—it’s the perfect antidote to city noise. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you want a genuine, peaceful experience with excellent access to nature trails, this is the place. We left feeling completely refreshed and can't wait to return. Highly recommend.

Great place to get away from the city! The RV was clean and stocked with essentials for cooking and the shower and toilet was close by. We brought our own sleeping bags and pillows, which worked out perfectly. We booked this stay to be closer to the wineries, pumpkin patches, and u-pick farms nearby, it was such a convenient location for exploring the area. Would definitely come back again!
