We have over 180 trees on the property (mostly beautiful flowing California Pepper Trees) and have gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and horse pastures.We offer horseback riding, goat yoga, and goat milking. The sweet Aussie poked his head in our tent to say "you good?" haha It was so cute and they were extremely friendly and social! The black kitten stayed at our camp all night and cuddled on our laps by the fire. It was such a lovely experience. "If you got the sight, we got the views." Our property sits on top of a hill on 10 acres of beautiful panoramic views of Cahuilla and, Palomar mountain along with rolling hills of large rock formation and colorful wildflowers in the spring. Nestled up to the wildlife preserve of the government bureau of land management which provides more of a quiet and private setting to enjoy what nature has to offer.
You will see Jack rabbits and cotton tail bunnies, roadrunners, quail, owls, different type of birds, hawks, coyote, lizards, snakes and even some toads. On occasion you may see deer, Bob cats, mountain lion along with endangered kangaroo mice, The beautiful night sky is easy to see planets and shooting stars without the interruption of city lights.
There are many trails to walk, hike, bike and horse back ride where you can discover large boulders in different shapes and sizes along with hidden caves. A variety of rocks and minerals can be found for those rock hound enthusiasts as well.
At the camp site you will find a horseshoe pit ,indoor and outdoor games and treasure hunts for everyone to enjoy. If you want to bring your own set of golf clubs you can even hit some balls!
We allow pets for a $10 per pet/per booking. If you want to bring a pet, please add the pet fee listed as an extra during the booking process.
There are off road areas nearby. Bring your motor bike, quad or buggy and throw up some dirt.
Not too far there is a Casino, a store open 24 hrs. and a restaurant call for hours. 20-30 minutes away from the Temecula stores and wineries.
You don’t have to worry about packing up a bunch of camping equipment, our camp provides a 35 foot RV if you prefer a roof over your head and a place to sit down for a meal. The power runs off a generator ( you will need to provide your own fuel. it is a 5 gallon capacity). has indoor and outdoor lights, a radio, outlets to plug in a fan or heater or a phone/computer. There are dishes and utensils,pots/pans and a toilet. Outside water is provided to wash up and clean the dishes. There is a propane b.b.q, propane fire ring, outdoor bench, table and camp chairs. included in the cost.

We are the second owners of the property and want to be as self sustaining as possible. We are on a well and have converted to solar power. Due to deadlines and even more stress created by the partners of the firm, I ignored what my body was telling me. We closed escrow on the property in October of 2016 and that November I was in the ER. I almost died. Spent my birthday and Thanksgiving in the hospital.Soon after that I quit my job at the CPA firm and started working from home. Still suffering from complications, that summer in June/July I ended up in the ER again. Even closer to death this time. Since then I've turned around my health. Focused on life on the farm. At 10,833 feet in elevation, this is the second highest peak in California. There are two ways to get to the summit. You can hike the whole thing or shave off about 6000 vertical feet by riding the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Either way, the summit is not to be missed.
For a real challenge try the epic Cactus to Clouds trail. It was rated as one of the hardest day hikes in the world by Backpacking Magazine. Its 21 miles take you skyward through sub-alpine forests, mountain meadows, snow-dusted crags, and gnarled granite. An alpine start is required to avoid the midday heat so be prepared and take plenty of water.
Campers have plenty to choose from. The San Jacinto area offers two drive-in campsites, four hike-in primitive campsites, and adventures for every brand of wilderness craving. Booking: Lance was incredibly responsive when I had questions about whether or not his campsite would be the right fit for our large group.
Breakthrough Campsite: We were allowed to arrive early to beat the traffic coming from Orange County. We met Daniel and Mac who made sure our campsite was ready, including fresh sheets and a fresh mopping of the enclosed tent. Daniel also brought us potable water for us to wash our hands and clean dishes.
It was such a luxury to be able to sleep on a comfortable bed and inside a huge tent that was already set up for us. There were exterior solar powered lights and an option to plug in an external USB battery to internal tent lights.
The tent was large enough to sleep two adults and 8 girls comfortably with plenty of room for all of our sleeping bags and personal items.
The campfire was easy to use thanks to Daniel hooking up a propane tank.
Daniel and Mac even took all ten of us on their small trucks around the property for an adventure tour. They picked apples and grapefruit for us right off the trees.
The three friendly and well behaved ranch dogs were a highlight. We felt safe knowing they were patrolling the grounds at night.
Yes, the chairs could be replaced, the portable toilets could be cleaner, and the campsite was quite the journey to get there, but all that were minor inconveniences compared to the absolute great service provided by the team.
I would highly recommend this campsite to others and return again.

The view was great, the campsites were well spaced out, the tent was clean, and the property's dogs were a friendly delight! The manager gave us a warm welcome, and the host was very communicative. The property itself felt a little run-down, and the creek was hard to access because it was overgrown, but we had a great time. Thank you Lance!

We stayed at the Shadetree Overlook and it was a great camping experience away from the city noise and lights! The hosts were very friendly and helped us set up the propane fire pit. The eucalyptus trees were perfect to string up a hammock and provide a little bit of shade from the midday sun. The sunset views and nighttime stars were delightful! Wish the bathrooms were a tad bit closer especially in the middle of the night, but only about a 5 min walk away so we made do. Overall we had a great and peaceful time!

Weekend Trip to Agave Azul Del Sol
Eric was super friendly and hospitable. The cabin is cozy, clean, and located on the side of the mountain for insane views the second you step out the door. We were able to see stars so clearly at night for a meteorite shower. The compost bathroom was so convenient, queen mattress was really comfy, and grill was perfect for all of our meals. My pup ran around the property safely and we didn’t encounter any coyotes or snakes. This area is full of incredible hikes and kind people- would 100% recommend

What a beautiful ranch! Amazing views! The campsites are huge and very private. The amenities are amazing with bathrooms, shower, tables, water at campsites.

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend getaway at Thundering Hawk Retreat! Lance is an incredibly thoughtful and communicative host. He checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and even reminded us to catch the stunning sunset. The campsite was clean, peaceful, and spacious enough to easily accommodate our family and our Cybertruck setup. One of the biggest highlights was how dog-friendly the place is. Lance's sweet dogs, Lulu and Paula, came over to greet us and quickly made friends with our Akita, Mochi. It was the perfect, relaxing outdoor experience for the whole family. Highly recommend and we would love to come back!

First off, the site is lovely with some of the campsites having spectacular views. Bathrooms are clean with lights. The history of the area is definitely worth researching or ask Vicki the camp host about the history and best place to walk and see the history. 5 out of 5, camp there.

Beautiful property with gorgeous panoramic views!! David’s gracious hospitality was above and beyond. Very clean restrooms with a shower available for everyone to use which elevated the whole camping experience to the next level. Would definitely come back to this beautiful property again.

1 night at Magical Harrison Serenity Ranch
My daughter and I planned a birthday camping getaway for my other daughter -Vicki the owner was so accommodating, and great communication . Rich was there to greet them and was super helpful and his dog was adorable.! My daughter loved the glamping tent!! the view and the sunset were amazing. Absolutely beautiful setting !! we couldn't have asked for more . They had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this place 5+ stars.!!! Very secluded and relaxing !
