We have room to store up to 4 horses with our mare motels as well as an 100x300 arena right on the property. Fully fenced. Outhouse on sight if you are spending the day working with your horses and don’t want to dirty your RV.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sherry’s! They had the gate open and greeted us as soon as we arrived. The place was perfect for our needs! We were visiting friends for a couple of days and this place was only 7 minutes away. The lot is level it might take a minute to get backed in if you are inexperienced. I was able to back my 38ft diesel pusher in on the first try! The owners are right next door if you have any questions or they will leave you alone if you wish. Full hookups are a plus. 50/30 amp service. Walking distance from downtown. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely gracious hosts and a perfect location in Gilbert ! The neighborhood was safe, friendly, and quiet. The trains were not a bother and hardly heard them. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and responsive. My dogs loved having the yard to hang out in secured all around and that was a huge plus for us. We would definitely stay again !

What a perfect location!
With views of the mountains, forests and horse farms it is hard to believe you are just a few minutes from Phoenix. Cheryl and Jeff were very accommodating, despite my arriving past my own bedtime, let alone theirs.
The spot is next to an attached garage at their home, but it felt like my own slice of heaven. Hook ups and the dump station were close by and easy to get to.
I arrived after dark and was a bit surprised when I heard animal sounds, but quickly realized it was the neighbor’s horses. That was a treat that doesn’t happen where I live.
It was exceptionally quiet and peaceful and I will return when I have time to enjoy the scenery and explore the nearby attractions like hiking and restaurants. I was in town for a medical appointment and made it my launch pad to northern AZ.

From the great initial contact from Sherry with clear instructions on how to get to, and back into, the site to the warm and friendly welcome on our arrival we had a fantastic one night stay in Downtown Gilbert. Don't worry if you're not used to backing in as Sherry's husband is on hand to help. They also warned about potential train noise which to be honest did not disturb us at all. Located very close to the historic area of Gilbert and to the local restaurants this is a brilliant location for a stay in Gilbert, especially if you're looking for a first night or more stay after picking up your RV rental.

Your camping in the backyard of a house on a 2 acre plot. Although it appears to be suburban and the lot is walled/fenced on three sides there is an astonishing amount of wildlife here. Flocks of doves, coveys of quail, tons of rabbits, other birds and we could hear coyotes every morning. The Suarouro (sp?) Cactus are really impressive if you've never been right up close to one. Our stay was quiet and peaceful, and Louise let me park the sprinter under the shade next to the corral... That was huge for keeping the van cool in 105 Phoenix weather. Thank you for that. The place is 20min from Mayo Clinc so we will definitely be back. And yes... we got a fantastic loaf of homemade bread.

Great hipcamp with full hook ups just down the street from the Gilbert "avenue" of shops, restaurants & walking/biking paths. Gravel pad was level and long for easy maneuvering into place. The ramp from the street onto the pad was a little narrow and close to the rear fence line but our dually fit fine. Fenced in backyard was great for the dog and laundry inside the covered porch was easily accessible. Wifi worked well and was consistently reliable for work from home/video calls. We supplemented with Starlink and it worked well with no obstructions. Owners were helpful, accommodating and afforded us sufficient privacy given the close proximity to their home. Train crossing was pretty close and we heard the whistle roughly 4-5 times a day, occasionally at night, but overall no big deal.

1. The location was amazing, being within walking distance of Gilbert's restaurant and entertainment area.
2. The site itself was perfect for us. Our pups could play, unleashed, within their enclosed yard and we felt our RV was safe when we ventured out.

Sherry and Wes are gracious and friendly hosts. I'm excited to return to the 'camp' as is but their planned upgrades sound delightful too!
The water ran well and their 30 amp worked great. Our 19' trailer and pick up truck fit into the drive way with plenty of space to stretch out and we felt secure in the neighborhood. The securely fenced yard was perfect for our dogs and there are sidewalks to walk dogs around for other exercise if needed.
This is a family oriented space that felt judgement free and a place my partner and I will return to and for a longer stay. Gilbert looks to have some neat places nearby to check out.
There is a train track a block over and only one train came through in two days but this is a good to know for others. We love trains so it was no bother to us.

Sherry is such a welcoming, accommodating and kind hostess. The lot is level and she even leaves a mat out (which we forgot to bring so were thrilled to find). Hookups are as described and easy to access. The yard is enclosed so our pup was able to run and play, as were our children -- which made this site one of their favorites ever. The girls liked watching the train go by, and it didn't wake them at night.
We also appreciated the proximity to the heritage district, and my daughter and I even walked south to Mythical Coffee one day, about a 1/2 hr stroll along Gilbert Rd [highly recommend visiting this coffee shop, btw].

Sherry and her husband were SO accommodating and helpful. Their property is very cute & so close to the downtown area. The dogs enjoyed the large fenced in yard. It was easy for my husband to back our 42 ft rv into the space and the water, electric, and sewage included was a win!
