5 nights at Gila River View
This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The host, Amber, was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The area is secluded and private and we never heard any noise other than nature. We loved that it's a working cattle ranch with horses, cattle, and pigs. The animals were all friendly and never bothered us. Oh, there was a very friendly barn cat that did snuggle with us a bunch! The camper was an amazing accommodation that offered everything we needed for an indoor experience and sleeping.
The hiking opportunities are endless here! With just a 10 minute hike you can be on the top of a mountain overlooking 2 different valleys that the Gila river runs through. In about a 20-25ish minute hike you can make it from the camp clear into a hidden valley on the back side and make it right up to a secret spot next to the Gila river. We spent half a day at this spot relaxing and enjoying the weather and nature!
It's about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town for any supplies or if you want a restaurant. We only went once to get more drinking water and we were back at camp within the hour!
We will definitely stay here again! We love the place and it's less than 2 hours from our house!

My partner Teirza and I (plus our two chihuahuas) had a fantastic stay here. Jorgiana was an incredible host, and both she and the property owner were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The site was clean, ready for us, and perfectly set up.
You’re surrounded by saguaros the second you step outside, and there are great bike trails just minutes away. The views are absolutely stunning—sunrise and sunset both felt like something out of a painting. And if you head downtown, do yourself a favor and grab the best hot dog ever at Ruiz’s.
Couldn’t ask for a better stay. We’d definitely come back.

Great spot with friendly and welcoming hosts! We loved having direct access to biking and hiking trails, and we really appreciated the washer and dryer as well. The area was very quiet and felt safe. We would definitely stay here again!

Huge open, peaceful ranch along the river made for an amazing stay for my family of 5 with 2 dogs in tow. Amber was very responsive and welcoming, would definitely recommend!

Our family absolutely loved staying here. This will be one we look forward to staying at frequently. Everything was clean, and provided. It was a good stay at the ranch. We enjoyed seeing the animals and sitting in the creek even though it was pretty cold! Don’t think twice about booking this place ! Our host went above and beyond and the experience was great.

Loved hiking around the srea. We had a bit of a time getting into the site, but we are not very experienced. Our host gave us some tips and we were able to finally back into the site. It was very quiet and beautiful.

we had a wonderful stay at pesha's place and it was perfectly located for me to bike to campus for the meeting i was attending. our sprinter van tucked in perfectly in her spot and with the walls and trees was quite private in spite of being right on the street. there was even a safe, out-of-sight spot to tuck our bikes. the location is really ideal for getting around. whole foods and several restaurants are within walking distance, all of mid-town tucson is within biking distance, and the bus goes right by her place. tucson buses are still free and that line takes you downtown.

What a great place to call home base while exploring Tucson. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the city below at night, yet close access to the Interstate and everything else Tuscon has to offer.
Jorgiana is a great host. So appreciate her sharing her beautiful property with us, and allowing us to bring our dogs as well.
We would love to come back next winter, but understandably, the property is already booked. The secret is out!

Pesha was an exceptional host. The space was perfectly adequate, nice and level and worked well for our little RV. It was a bonus that we were able to use the kitchen and bathroom - so helpful. The location couldn't have been more convenient for anyone visiting Tucson.

This is the prefect urban spot to enjoy both the city and surrounding attractions. Paige is, by far, the best hostess there is. Very welcoming, very friendly and helpful. She is definitely a people person and makes you feel right at home. She loves the city and has great suggestions for you to enjoy it too.
