It’s a beautiful place to stay , great host , lots of wildlife to enjoy

3 nights at 1899 Historic Hotel & Camping

The bathroom is clean and well-maintained, has hot water, and the campsite is easy to locate. It’s conveniently situated about 15 minutes from the nearest town. The site is also very close to the highway. We had a wonderful time staying at this campsite.

1 night at Saguaro Forrest @ Dragonfly Ranch

Address and directions provided by host were good, but campsite names were a bit confusing to determine. Otherwise great hookups.. didn't use dump station but great and big sites. Lovely natural views and perfect for stargazing

4 nights at Heart & Soil Ranch

What a nice space to stay for a few days. Steve & Wendy were very accommodating, but also gave us our privacy. The neighbors have sheep that were fun to listen to. The Great Tailed Grackles serenaded us all day long. Our dogs had free run of the property as it is fully fenced. We didn't build a fire, but their fire pit area is outstanding. The location is close to Phoenix and Goodyear. We had the opportunity to walk several trails, and visit Goodyear Park, where our Guardians do their Spring Training.

The day we arrived at 1 Saguaro Forrest, it was one of the few days of heavy rain in Arizona. The site was well manicured, clean and had gravel throughout the property. This made for a easy and clean set up in the rain! The site was very private even though there were other campers nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Tammii was a great host! The site was clean and we had our own private area. We stayed for 13 nights and having washer and dryer was a big plus! Really close to all stores including Costco, Starbucks, Target, and a big mall. We really enjoyed our stay and we would come back!

The views are amazing. It’s very peaceful. We enjoyed walking a short distance to hike Tonto National Forest. Would be a great location if you have a UTV or ATV

Best decision we made on our trip. We were here for spring training baseball but didn’t want to tent camp on BLM land due to concerns of thieves and bad actors, we also heard horror stories about other “campgrounds” in the area that are loud and rowdy throughout the night … We got so lucky picking Sunset Nook. Cory was a great host! Lots of amenities (water, toilet, bbq and chairs) Cory protected our things while we were away and gave us our space while we were there. The lake is just a small walk away and offers beautiful views of mountains and wildlife Can’t wait till next year when we come back for next year’s spring training

We loved staying at Tammii & Kevin’s property so much that we extended 2 nights. You have your own little private patio area, which is great for your dog(s) to hang out as well. We wanted to be right in Mesa which this location is so you are central to all kinds of sight seeing. Tammii & Kevin are super nice & very helpful. Backing up our 30 feet travel trailer into their separate driveway was no problem. They even have a laundry set up for guests. We highly recommended staying with them & give them 20 out of 10 stars.

The directions were clear, and Lisa was so responsive and helpful. This was my first time towing a trailer, first time doing any of this and she made sure I had a pull through site. Haha newbie status for me! The spaces were huge and it was not very busy which was perfect for me. The shower was a short walk and was actually really cute. This was a great experience for me.

We are situated adjacent to state land that displays a majestic Saguaro forest in the mountains (where our small rural community meets the wilderness). Enjoy easy access to endless mountain trails flittered with spectacular views (and even historic artifacts) via short walk or off-road drive glittered with spectacular views. The local wildlife entails a variety of beautiful creatures, including mule deer. Enjoy the abundance of quail and rabbit throughout! All three Saguaro sites provide full RV services (water, electrical, and 30/50 amp hookups) with plenty of space between for enjoyment of the views. Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town or into Phoenix. Loose gravel throughout all sites. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations. We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is a just 45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! BYOB and BYO electric. : ) The camp spots are extra large, each one has gravel and asphalt to minimize dust and dirt. We have bathrooms and showers and an outdoor cowboy shower. It's rare to find a place to camp that's AUTHENTIC, HISTORIC, WILD WEST and offers amenities. The 1899 Historic Hotel offers free hotel tours, Gold Panning onsite, Outdoor picnic tables, Parties and Events, Adventure Tours to our Gold Mines - you can see in the distance from the 1899 Historic Hotel. There are nature walks next to the property, as well as horse trails. This is the roping capital of America so you will be surrounded by bull riders, cowboys and miners - for real!
