And at an elevation of about 4,300 feet, the area experiences a four-season climate with summer temperatures seldom exceeding 100 degrees. Hikers, bird watchers and nature loving folks come to this area every year just for the warm summer breezes and clear night skies. This area also boasts of spectacular views of the early morning rising sun and incredible sunsets. You pick your spot as long as it is not directly in the vineyard, and enjoy the peaceful and tranquil sounds of the desert wildlife. High Lonesome Vineyard is located about 20 miles southeast of Tombstone, Arizona and 8 miles west of Elfrida, Arizona. You can easily commute to Tombstone to see the legends of the old west or drive on over to Elfrida/Gleeson area and see the old mining ghost towns. If active mining is your thing, visit Bisbee which is only 25 minutes away. Also, with a working cattle ranch nearby, take the opportunity to visit and see the daily workings of one of southeast Arizona's biggest ranches. A visit to the ranch is for a nominal fee and subject to availability. Wine tastings are also available for a small fee in addition to the camping fee. We have 6 German Shepherds that do what they do as guard dogs, bark when alerted. We take extra steps to keep the dogs quite for you at night during your stay, but its a high probability they will bark at you.

This was a little slice of heaven in Patagonia. I've never stayed at a hipcamp this charming and perfect. From the outdoor shower (heaven after a long day of riding) to the quiet, to the laundry facilities, I can't think of how Melanie (and Joanie) could have made this haven any better. 20/10. We're already planning a trip back in the spring!

What a great spot. Very welcoming staff, and great vibe that they've obviously put a lot of work into creating. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The common area is a great spot to hang out, watch a movie, and meet fellow travelers. The general area has some great food trucks and a fun neighborhood dive bar right across the street. Looking forward to coming back through.

The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make the stay wonderful. The outdoor movies were fun and popcorn was available. Morning coffee came with the stay which made it nice . The common areas were comfortable and nicely decorated. Although it was in the city limits it felt like it was in a world of it's own. It was secure by locked gates so I felt safe.

Our family needed a last minute spot to spend the night and refill water for our RV. The host was flexible and made sure we knew where to go since we arrived at night. Once we arrived, someone came to greet us and helped us park into our spot and set up. The location is walking distance to historic Tombstone town. Our family was able to walk over in the morning for a nice breakfast at Longhorn and explored the wonderful town before heading back on the road. A great refreshing stop for us.

This was our first time with Hipcamp and very impressed. First off Tim & Victoria went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. It had sites set so you weren’t super close. They just opened Playa Tortuga Ultra Lounge a domed space to meet with the other campers to visit stay out of the heat or use a heater on cold night or a propane fire pit and visiting. They have several other things to do for activities. Our campsite had a propane grill, sink and running water, fire ring, table and chairs and a tub with extras if you forgot something. Nothing was left out and we didn’t even bring all our usual stuff for tent camping as they had it for us. Fun place to stay

How can I begin to describe the amazing vibes of this place? They offer full hookups and campsites as well as unique rooms. The clubhouse has an indoor and outdoor kitchen, bathrooms and showers, and anything you could possibly need for your stay. The pool is clean, with timeless music playing to really pull it all together. Between the colorful art, the vintage theme, and funky (in a good way) furniture, I absolutely love this place. Staff was awesome, coffee was perfect, and I will recommend this place to anyone passing through the Tucson area.

This cabin and land was exactly as described in the app. It was cozy the heater work the air conditioner worked hot water for the shower and a small refrigerator with a very very tiny freezer hot plate in microwave. Everything you need! I do intend to go back if she'll have me!

As a living work of art, El Pais is a feast for the eyes. As a roadside motel/attraction/event, it feels like a secret garden/wonderland. This was my first Hipcamp stay, and I felt so safe and comfortable. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and kind. The vibes are immaculate. El Pais is worth a trip just to experience it. I will definitely be back with friends!
