There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more.
Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience.
Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes.
Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's.
Amplified music is not allowed.
Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields. Pyrenees Wine region is a short drive away.

Nestled in the Macedon ranges in the tiny hamlet of Riddell’s Creek, Dromkeen is 30 minutes drive from Melbourne Airport. This stately National Trust home has beautiful gardens with a range of Australian native and European plants, a gazebo and two resident alpacas.
We have space in the large carpark for vans, motorhomes, or alternatively the horse paddock for tents and campers. Ample toilets available. Dogs permitted by advance request.
Guests are welcome to visit the Tea Room, open 10am – 5pm Wednesday through Sunday. Our daily menu contains a selection of delicious cakes, devonshire tea, toasted sandwiches, specialty pies and weekly specials and of course, tea and coffee. Breakfast is served all day.
Browse in the galleries or wander around the beautiful gardens which have trees more than 100 years old, some listed on the National Trust register. Meet our 2 Dromkeen alpacas Hannah and Lilly.
***Please note, we are a rubbish free campsite, so campers are asked to take their rubbish with them. Dromkeen has very clean toilets, but a reminder there are NO showers. Also all sites are unpowered, but upon request prior to arrival a powered spot may be available at an extra $10 a day. Please ring to verify this. During summer months because of fire restrictions we also remind campers there should be NO outside campfires.

There is a stream, it flows all year however more so in winter - fishing is welcome, further - 3 dams with yabbies and fish.

Lots of friendly farm life, highland and Angus cattle, sheep, goats, pony’s and more. Depending on when you stay you may see calf’s and lambs.
Depending on what your after we can provide some farm experiences or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the sights. From the end of the driveway it’s a 6 minute walk to pubs, cafes, shopping and supermarkets.
A private get away not too far from home with all the extra everyone is looking for.
Optional extras can be arranged and set up - 10,000 litre pool, hot tub, camp sites depending on personal requirements, fire wood and more. Tailored camp sites for individuals to come and enjoy hassle free with limited time just up the road from home.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

91 Gordons Bridge Road was once part of a pine plantation that had been planted in the late 60's and harvested just prior to the Black Saturday fires. Across the road from the Kinglake National Park, it is surrounded by protected flora and fauna. Victoria's Pink heath, wattles and tea tree provide a pleasant backdrop in season.
It is not an uncommon site to see an echidna or two on the property, with black wallabies, kangaroos and wombats often seen grazing on pasture in the evening. The mud turrets are the home of endangered land yabbies and Lyrebirds have been seen in the area. Feral deer have come to inhabit nearby properties and sometimes wonder down the track. Birds watchers will enjoy a variety of bird life that inhabit the area including eagle hawks, fairy wrens, kookaburras, rosellas, parrots and yellow tailed black cockatoos when in season.
The area is a popular spot for hikers with the start of the Mountain Creek trail only a few kms down Gordons Bridge Road and serious cyclists train regularly, on Mount Slide, especially on the weekend. For the serious wine lover the property is within 15km of the Yarra Valley Wine Growing area with many wineries offering tastings.

I have big plans for this land and hope to build a steam museum in another area over the creek. Excitingly, I will also be establishing a blacksmiths forge in that area, which was moved piece by piece from an historic farm at Avoca. Chris is an engineer, antique restorer and artisan working from home.

Pitch your completely self-sufficient sleeping quarters on our peaceful, flat, 7 acre property which backs onto the Bald Hill Nature Reserve and is less than five minutes drive from Kyneton’s historic Piper Street which is full of delightful restaurants and cafes.
Take under an hour to drive up and explore beautiful Bendigo, experience delightful Daylesford nearby and meander around the wonderful wineries of the Macedon Ranges.
Campfires are allowed subject to local fire restrictions and must be fully extinguished before you turn in for the night. Please search for the CFA website 'Fire Danger Period: Can I or Can't I?' which has all of the appropriate information. Each site has a fire pit which you can use providing it is not a total fire ban.
Firewood is available at a cost to you of $50 per wheelbarrow load which will easily cover two nights.
We have four separate camping locations on the property; you can easily have up to four RVs on sites 1, 2 and 4 and two on site 3. We have tried to ensure privacy for each location but you may be able to see other guests and/or the house through the many trees.
Please be aware that there are two dams on the property so children should supervised at all times. My own children swim in the dam and there is a kayak available but lifejackets must be worn by children in, around and on the water to minimise risk.
Pets are welcome. The kangaroos may prove quite enticing for some pets and as such we recommend dogs be kept on their leash. Site 4 has ringlock fencing and farm gates which can be helpful to contain your pets.
Please be aware that the Kyneton Gun Club has their monthly clay target shoot on the 3rd Sunday of each month (2nd Sunday in December) from 11am until 5pm during which time you will hear them clay pigeon shooting.
We are NOT a commercial campsite and, as such, you must be fully self-contained for power, water, showers, sewage, refuse disposal, etc.
Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by their parents.

Ally is a wonderfull host! We sayed at camp 4. Beautiful spot. Nice green mown grass. Plenty of room and privacy. The sheep were very curious which gave the place a nece "farm stay" vibe. Close enough to town anf a good base for exploring the area. We will be staying again!

We had the perfect night away on Wendy’s beautiful property. Peaceful and tranquil with only a short drive into Daylesford. Site was easy to get to with the fire pit tidy and ready to go! Wendy even greeted us with a bouquet of eucalyptus she’d just picked! Great experience and we hope to return soon.

This was our second visit to Grace's Land, and it absolutely lived up to every wonderful memory we had from our first time. We brought along 10 friends to celebrate my partner's birthday, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better setting to make it special.
The facilities made everything so easy and comfortable — ample bathrooms meant no morning queues, the massive BBQ was perfect for group cooking, the fridge kept everything fresh, and there were plenty of tables and chairs for everyone to spread out and relax. Having fireplace options was the cherry on top for those cosy evening wind-downs.
We had the best time cooking big meals together, gathering around the fire for long chats, playing with adorable Spot the dog, and taking a moment to pat the horses.
The only downside? We had to leave! We were already talking about our next trip on the drive home. If you're looking for a spot that handles a big group with ease while still feeling warm and personal, look no further. We'll absolutely be back — we just wish we could have stayed longer!

We had the best weekend at Wendy’s property - Such a beautiful spot! Private space, great campfire set up, easy to access & short drive into Daylesford. Beautiful sunrise set up, we loved it. Wendy met us on arrival, shared lots of things to do in the area & was super lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Mark has a beautiful property, with large spaced out sites with fire pits and some with portable toilets (for hire).
Weeping Willow has good access to the Tullaroop Creek, where we failed at fishing but succeed with a few scampi.
We will be back again, maybe try out another site.

We had a fantastic stay at Strath Creek Station! The host Kim and Glen was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond, Glen checking in on us twice to make sure we had everything we needed. They even lent us a hammer and helped us set up our tent, which was a huge help. The campsite itself is massive, very quiet, and offers plenty of privacy. Plus, being able to see the horses from the site was a wonderful bonus. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

Such an amazing place to stay! Beautifully maintained in a natural farming environment. Mark and Millie were so accommodating and keen to share their world. Great to see a working farm in action, whilst not feeling like a guest. Campsites are ridiculously generous and private. Will definitely be back. Please leave this place better than you found it.

It’s a peaceful spot, as described - the flat area is gravel and not great for a tent. The gravel stones were large and put some holes in the groundsheet. I wouldn’t have booked if I had known this so keep it in mind if you have a tent.

Beautiful property!! Ally the host was great, she made us feel very welcome! Met us upon arrival and guided us in, supplied firewood and had sheep grazing around the field (Ally checked we were comfortable having them around and with our dog too) which was so lovely to watch and added to the wonderful experience! Would highly recommend this farm stay!
