The campsite offers a serene and picturesque environment with stunning views of the foothills. Guests consistently praise the hosts, Debbie and Kevin, for their friendliness and helpfulness, making visitors feel welcome and at ease. The presence of animals on the ranch, including llamas, goats, and alpacas, adds a unique charm to the stay, especially for families with children. The sites are well-maintained, featuring convenient water and electrical hookups, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.
Perfect, peaceful space. Water and 50a electric. We loved this place so much we booked an additional few days. The owners (Debbie and Kevin) are simply the best! We have family in Sacramento and will stay here each time we’re in town. If you have kids, they will LOVE the animals on the ranch and the area surrounding this place is to die for! Seriously, if you want to stay somewhere beautiful and safe, hit some wineries or just unwind, this is it. Thank you Debbie and Kevin for a wonderful stay!
Beautiful location, so peaceful. Site exactly as described. Views are amazing, Hosts are the best! Pull thru space large enough for our coach and trailer (55ft). Will be returning whenever we’re in the area. HIGHLY recommend. Debra and Kevin were so helpful guiding me to a local destination, Kevin is a great tour guide and introduced us to all of the animals on the ranch.
What a wonderful place and experience. The property is beautiful, well maintained , the sunset is spectacular. The sites are level, easy to access, and spacious. The owners are so friendly and took my kids on a tour to help feed/pet the animals. Hands down the best Hipcamp we’ve ever experienced!
Our family really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were helpful, very welcoming, and let us join when they fed the animals, which the kids loved! The site for our rv was great, flat with gravel and some shade. It was quiet at night and the sunsets were beautiful!
This Hip Camp is REALLY NICE. A lot of places you are just left abandoned on a lot. Kevin the host took care of us really well. The sites are nice. flat level with gravel, shade from trees and nice water and electric hookups.
Kevin was so nice the took my kids on a tour of the Farm to feed all the beautiful animals they have and they had such a good time. They also had a super cute cat that my girls fell in love with and he (Steve) slept all night outside the camper. Highly recommended will be back for sure! Highly recommend buying some Eggs from then also.
Bella Ranch is a working Alpaca/llama ranch. Hosts Debra and Kevin are a delight! Kevin offers a tour of the ranch during feeding time to meet the animals: llamas, alpacas, emus, goats and chickens. My sister had a bad knee; so Kevin gave her a ride in his golf cart. We bought a dozen fresh laid eggs for breakfast.
There are 3 RV sites, all pull-through a, each with power and water, picnic bench, and adirondack chairs. The sites run parallel to each other but far apart enough to be private. It would be perfect for a group of 2-3 RVs. The ground sare well kept.
There are a handful of small wineries nearby offering tasting. The wine is so-so, but we bought some good olive oil, balsamic vinegar and artisan bread for an afternoon snack.
We highly recommend this camp site.
We really enjoyed camping at Bella Branch Ranch. The hosts were amazing and very helpful. The area is very peaceful and beautiful. Also, there is a 3 mile loop on nearby country roads that you can walk or bike. The tour of the ranch was fun and the baby goats were so cute!!! Highly recommend this property. All three rv sites are nice.
Very enjoyable place to stay. Site #3 only had electricity so I was moved up to Site #2 for water as well as power. Spot was pretty level and the views were spectacular. Got to join in with other campers for the daily afternoon (6pm-ish) feeding of the llamas, alpacas, emus and goats, including many baby goats (I even got to hold one!)
Owners Kevin and Debbie(Debra) were very friendly. I could have also purchased fresh eggs, but didn't. All in all a very relaxing and quiet (except for the roosters and wild turkeys...lol! They weren't too loud or annoying in reality.) A nice place to stay for self-contained RVs.
Fantastic Hipcamp spot! Beautiful property with great pull through spaces. Off the grid feeling but only 15 minutes from the highway. Super friendly host that was easy to communicate with.
Deb , has a premium location with stunning views if the Sierra and Sacramento,
The location is well organized and they let you go and see the different animals they raise ,
We had a very good time out there
We loved the Ranch! We (2 adults and two little kids) were visiting some family in Sacramento for the long weekend and this spot was perfect for us to bring our trailer! Water and electric hookups and pull through sites. Lovely property that is quiet and so beautiful! My kids loved feeding the animals the hosts were so kind and friendly! Will definitely be back in the future!
Set in the Golden Hills and Oak Forests of the Sacrament foothills, the quiet was amazing and the night sky was terrific. (and only 20 minutes away from a super market for Chocolate runs) Debra and Kevin were super hosts; friendly, patient and checking in each day with a hello and making sure we had everything. In addition they provide tours of their Lama farm! Long story short, we booked site 3, very nice but site 1 was best, they allowed us to move to the better view of amazing sunsets as site 1 became available. Strongly recommend making time in your trip to stay at Bella Ranch
Beautifully secluded with Majestic oak trees and animals.
We are returning guests because we love Debbie and Kevin. Not sure about Hipcamp yet but you can believe...we'll let you know!😉😊
Great location at Bella Branch with three very level sites. We stayed in site 2 which had power, water and a great view out over the hills. The ranch was very peaceful and quiet, with great morning animal sounds you would expect on a farm. Convenient to Amador wine country in Plymouth or the amenities off Hwy 50, this was a perfect base from which to explore. Unfortunately, our schedule precluded getting to visit with Debbie and see the animals, but I’m sure they are fun.
We loved staying 2 nights at Debra’s camp. It was very peaceful. There was a late arrival but it was out dog that alerted rather than a noisy neighbor. We got to feed Bottle Baby the goat. SO CUTE! Her husband helped us get situated in our site #2 and even provided a 30-50 “dog bone” which we did not have. (If you have a 30 Amp rig be sure to bring your own adapter.) We will definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed staying at Debra's property. The three sites are easy to pull through, have electricity/water, and site #1 has a great view. Debra made sure to check in with us when needed and provided a lovely tour of the animals for our kids. We also enjoyed the walk along the dirt road past her property with spacious views, nice neighbors, and just enough terrain to get some exercise.
