An energy efficient Uniquely designed home that is off the grid and has a very green footprint with solar and windmill to charge batteries. Oak and pine tree covered acres with fitness and nature trails around the property. Each level campsite with picnic table is designed for privacy with plenty of distance between sites and mountain views in every direction, along with an optional gas log fire pit and BBQ. There is plenty of clean, non potable drinking water, custom built toilets and optional hot showers, limited electrical use, cell phone charging and low power use devices as I am off grid. There is a fitness and nature trail on the property and Pacific Crest trail is approx 20 to 30 min drive, Mountain park which has many miles of hiking trails and an Indian reservation with hikes to many petroglphs. Things to see are the World famous Tehachapi railway loop, historic downtown, vineyards, mountain spirit center a Buddhist temple, glider rides, bicycle riding and fishing. Very friendly host. Great spot with incredible views, plants and wildlife. Spots are nicely far apart and well shaded. Some quail came through our site as I was getting out of the tent. Pleasant wildflowers around the property. Will try to book again anytime I’m in the area!

I stayed at sight 1, (I can not comment on site 9.) Site 1 is very close to the restroom and common camper space.. I really liked this spot bc I have mobility issues and it was close to restroom and had solid ground to walk on as apposed to walking up and downhill.. several dirt trails through very beautiful areas that I could see from the mountain top. Host John was very kind and accommodating . The stars were beautiful at this elevation.

We had a wonderful time! It's beautiful and quiet and well-appointed. We went for the fire pit and shower add ons and they were well worth it. John is also lovely and helpful. We're already planning return trips.

Unique Mountain Log Cabin

This cabin is super fun and funky! We absolutely loved it! The host is amazing as well!! But the views!!! OH THE VIEWS - absolutely amazing and on a dark night I imagine the stars are super visible (it was the day after a full moon so not too dark) if we weren’t on the way to move across the country we would totally go back and try out the trails on the property also!
