When you come here you are experiencing the rebirth of farming in this country while getting to connect with the natural world. This historic piece of preserved farmland has been in our family for 5 generations. The property is just over 100 acres with about half in forest conservation. We have two streams that join one another and create an amazing habitat for all kinds of wildlife. Our farm has always been a fun and healing place for our friends and family to gather. We love sharing the peaceful seclusion here with folks who enjoy and respect nature. We are a certified organic farm in the early stages of transforming it into a fully regenerative, permaculture operation. We grow hemp, medicinal herbs, and small grains as well as keep bees and a small tribe of goats. We'd love to have you!

Big Pipe Creekside (aka "Hipville") is a super private campsite located along Big Pipe Creek on our 100-acre farm. We love being outside and have always enjoyed sharing our space with fellow nature appreciators. *The lane to the site is dirt, which means during wet weather it gets muddy and slick. AWD or 4WD is recommended during wet weather. There is room for one or two 2WD cars even when wet. We have a dog that lives here on the farm, Hopper, who is a great tour guide if you're out walking on the trails. He is friendly and gets along with most other pets. We ask that you do not feed him anything, especially NO human food. *FIREWOOD: We try to keep a supply of dry firewood at the site in exchange for donations. It is often difficult to keep up with demand during colder seasons. It's best to check with us before your trip to find out if we have wood available. We have a few local options if we're out. Feel free to bring your own. If you do use our firewood please be mindful of how much you burn. Collecting, splitting, and moving firewood is not cheap in time, money, or energy. Site Amenities: - Shady, wooded site. - Picnic table - Creekside. Fishing and floating encouraged! (mostly small bluegill in the creek) - 3 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and running - Dog-friendly! (if your dog is friendly:) - Fire ring. No firewood currently (our splitter is down) - Bird lovers - A great horned owl lives nearby and there is a resident great blue heron that patrols the creek - Outhouse with toilet paper (serviced regularly) 100 yards from the campsite - Historic Civil War Area (Gettysburg 14 miles away) - Preserved Farmland. Bear Branch Creekside (aka "Hangtown") is a cool, quiet spot offering a great escape for smaller groups that love being outside. It is on the neighboring property of our 100-acre farm and allows access to our hiking trails and mellow creeks. The firepit and hammock area is a short distance from the creek where there is a large, flat area for tents. During extreme rains and weather, keeping the tents closer to the fire pit area may be necessary since the creek sometimes rises. Our trail system passes through the site but there is not much traffic. We encourage hammocking. The record so far is 3 - very beatable if you bring a few extra hammocks. *The lane to the site is dirt, which means during wet weather it gets muddy and slick. I love this camp site and farm. The owners are really nice, welcoming, and helpful. The camp site is awesome - plenty of space and it's right by the creek. I love that it's wooded and feels secluded, even though Taneytown is only a few minutes away. The farm and property is picturesque, especially in the fall. It's seems like something more out of a movie than real life. We will definitely be back again :)

Our stay at Bear Branch Creekside was seriously the best, start to finish! Benjamins communication was always prompt which made everything super easy. The whole site was clean and looked great. We had a blast exploring the fun well kept walking trails, and the creek was the perfect spot to just chill—plus, our son had a field day fishing! The fire pit was a major plus, especially since they had those thoughtful extra cooking grates available. We totally fell in love with the owners' dog, Hopper, too! We had such a good time in Hangtown and are already dying to go back. 10/10 recommend!

Tent camping @ Hipville was excellent. The area was well maintained with many paths cutting across the property. The water level was a bit low for effective fishing, but we dropped some lines anyway. There was very limited prepared wood available when we arrived, and we needed to acquire more in the morning (not a difficult prospect).

Ben is a great host, very responsive, and the site was perfect. It includes a full picnic table which was great, and the drive to the water source was very quick. We had a fabulous time tent camping there and my kids want to go back again. Definitely check ahead to see if there's firewood - we purchased some nearby on Ben's recommendation on our way in.

We love camping on Ben's property. It's incredibly peaceful, and the stream is great for exploration! Hopper is the cutest if you are lucky enough to meet him. This was our 2nd visit, and we look forward to visiting again!

Excellent place with a lovely creek for fishing and Hooper the friendly dog and his human Ben visited to make sure all was well. Loved all the walking trails and stream fishing. Our dogs had a blast too!

We had a great stay at Fiddlers Green Farm on the Hipville campsite. The site was private, spacious, shaded, and right along the creek…perfect for relaxing and exploring. Our kids loved wandering the trails and exploring the property. They spotted blue herons, heard the resident owl, and had plenty of space to roam. One of the biggest highlights was Hopper, their sweet dog, who visited often and even acted as our trail guide. The portapotty was clean and well stocked and Ben was a friendly, responsive host. The kids are already asking when we’ll be back—highly recommend!

Had a great stay with my pup at Fiddler's Green. The property was well maintained and private enough to let the little dude roam freely. Access into the creek was also a huge plus, allowing us to stay nice and cool. We'll definitely be back soon, thanks for having us!

Our little family of 5 had the most amazing 6 nights of camping at this slice of paradise! We have 3 sons, 1 6 and 8- it was the perfect setting for them to feel free and safe! What an incredible spot, the campsite is large so there’s plenty of room to spread out your gear and the creek was the best bonus! The campfire was my favorite part, Kenny’s market has plenty of wood to stock up on! Trust me, this one won’t disappoint!

My daughter and I had a blast in Hipville! We met Ben the first evening while biking and he shared the layout of a large trail throughout the property. Ben’s dog, Hopper, was the guide on our bike rides the next couple mornings. We also loved when Hopper came to visit at the campsite. We went tubing in the creek and caught lots of bluegills and a few largemouth bass. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks, while listening to the stream, and then winding down with an evening fire. The campsite is very peaceful and feels extremely remote, but there is a Sheetz right down the road just in case you need anything. My daughter also enjoyed the mini golf course at Island Green which was less than 10 minutes away. Great Hipcamp experience for my daughter and I!

My friends and I had the best time ever! The creek is beautiful and the site is super close to town so if we needed anything it was just a quick trip! I will DEFF be back soon! Tell the farm dog hopper we miss him! Haha

I loved the tent camping at Hipville! Falling asleep to the sound of creek was great. The site itself was very large and there were several options as to where to put up the tent. The directions to the location were very clear and helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this hip camp! We had plenty of room for two tents and a small RV. There was plenty of wood at the site to use and access to the stream/creek was right at the campsite. There were only a few small negatives. First, tons of mosquitoes. But what can you expect for being a "waterfront" campsite. Secondly, the week before it had rained a lot in the area. Which it does say in the directions that it can get muddy down there. However, we got stuck with our camper and we didn't stray from the path. The path should have more gravel dumped to at least mitigate some of the mud. Lastly, there were folks across the way at the other campsite. Because we were sharing the portapotty, toilet paper was practically gone by the time we had arrived at camp. No one had come by to at least refill the toilet paper at the portapotty. Good thing we always come prepared with extra toilet paper.

We love this property! This is our second time staying on Ben’s land and while I am partial to the other site, this one is great as well. The sites are very well maintained and the host is great to deal with. Recommend 100% and we will be back!

We had a BLAST at Hipville at Fiddler's Green Farm! It's a total gem of a spot right next to a perfect creek. The area is nicely shaded by trees with different options to put a tent. There's also a picnic table which is in great shape and a stone fire ring. We loved playing in the creek and fishing- we caught a TON of fish. A 1/16 ounce rooster tail was perfect and the kids loved it! Thanks to the host for creating this amazing spot!
