Welcome to Rogue River Glamping! ATTENTION: BIG CHANGES COMING!! Zach has started replacing the tent with a new modern cabin. It will be a bit bigger than the old tent and have all the old amenities plus a few more. Our new cover photo and the last three photos are renderings of what the cabin will look like. Please join us for Memorial Day weekend 2025 to check out the new cabin! Our original description is included below. Just substitute cabin where tent necessary. This space has a private, cozy feel to it. The tent consists of a queen-sized bed, memory foam mattress with luxury hotel quality linens, folding table and chairs, Yeti cooler stocked with ice, and outdoor lounge seating. The tent also comes equipped with the essentials such as, wool blankets, plush towels, LED lanterns, board games, his and her robes, folding table & chairs, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and firewood. The composting restroom has a toilet and motion sensor lighting. On the outside of the restroom is the sink with hot and cold running water. As you continue along the stone path to the outdoor shower, you'll find a rainfall shower head as well as all the products you need, not to mention the most incredible views of the river! Our outdoor cookshack comes with a grill, bar sink, trash, and basic cooking and eating utensils. This space also has views of the river and large FarmStyle table and chairs for dining. The site is equipped with motion sensor path lighting around the tent and also the along the path leading from the parking area to the tent. Everything is crafted for relaxation and quality time with your friends or loved one. Take a nap in a hammock, play Jenga on the deck, read a book, or take a hike. There is something here for everyone, any time of year. Guest access The entire property is for your use. The driveway is gated with use of a keypad for entry. Other things to note... Wildlife will often cross the property, mainly deer, turkey, and some elk. There is over 100 acres of BLM land adjoining our property on two sides with miles of trails to explore. Breathtaking river views abound. The tent faces west, making for a nightly sunset show from the tent and deck.Private luxury with hundreds of acres of hiking and incredible views alongside the Rogue River. Campers will have their own completely private camping spot.

This site was delightful! We weren’t sure if the cabin would be finished in time for our stay, but were very pleased to discover it was ready. Wonderfully cozy inside, lots of thoughtful little touches, and the whole layout was so well put together. Loved all the different seating platforms, the fire pit area, the outdoor shower with great water pressure, and the fact that there was a grill, plates, utensils, and anything else you could need already stocked. Lovely spot in the woods and beautiful sunset. Would absolutely recommend - but watch out for poison oak during May-June season. Hope to be back soon!

Super private glamping experience!

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at the updated cabin! The forest there is really beautiful and the cabin is very secluded. The views of the river were nice and there were plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy those views from! The property is very close to some nice public parks on the river, so spending a day swimming and lounging on the riverside is very easy! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location

The location was incredibly beautiful and the accomodations were amazing. It was so private and the hiking trails had the most beautiful views. This was one of my favorite places I've stayed by far. 10/10 would book again.

We enjoyed tent camping at Kathleen’s site. It was absolutely adorable with the outside kitchen, shower and potty house. It was very clean and well furnished with amenities and even games. We sat on the front porch in the evenings in awe of the fresh mountain air. We will be back next year.

Better than expected! Our family of 5, w 3 kids 10 or younger, really loved this experience. Kitchen was perfect for making meals and enjoying dinner at sunset. Shower (and HOT water!) was a luxury we appreciated and loved outdoors. The compost toilet was easy, no fuss and the kids embraced it. Great trails all around the immediate area with views. Lovely views from tent area to trees and river. It was so quiet. We stayed several nights and Kathleen graciously restocked a few things for us. We brought our Berkey water filter from home which turned out to be a great idea. Highly recommended this place!

Glamping at it's BEST

Rogue River Glamping was all I'd imagined and hoped for when I booked it. The views, the wildlife, the space to explore, the quiet, the seclusion, the serenity...it was all perfect! Things that surpassed my expectations were: the comfort of the bed, pillows, linens, towels, the robes, even Katie herself. She was so incredibly sweet, and helpful. She puts so much time and detail into making your stay as wonderful as possible and it shows! From the beautifully done guest book with all the instructions and how-tos, the hand drawn map, the little binoculars, the handwritten thank you note, to the little cooler full of ice waiting your arrival. She hasn't missed a thing. If you're on the fence, BOOK IT...you won't be disappointed!

OH MY GOODNESS! what an incredible trip. The craftsmanship of the property was incredible l, with curved rails and amazing views. In the morning the fog rolled through the trees making the most serene setting to drink coffee. Will definitely be back! Thanks Katie and Zach!

True glamping and so fun!

Beautiful place! Clearly so much care has been put into creating this little sanctuary. I'm used to tent camping so this was a treat -- true glamping with a cozy stove in the tent, comfy bed, hot outdoor showers, and a wonderful outdoor kitchen :) This is an ideal place to stay for a night in Southern Oregon or if you really want to relax while sitting on the beautiful deck and enjoying the forest and peek-a-boo views of the river. We didn't realize that we wouldn't be able to get to the river itself from the property (there were some steep trails with too much poison oak for us to brave), so we drove around to explore some other hikes during our two-night stay. It's a beautiful area and easy to get around so that worked well for us - just something to note for your planning! The hosts were super responsive, the place was very clean, and they have the cutest goats as a bonus ;)

I can’t begin to describe how wonderful our experience staying on Kathleen’s property was! Every area from the tent, to the kitchen, to the bonfire pit was so thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. The property had great views of the river while feeling very private and secluded. Kathleen went above and beyond to make the property feel like a home away from home! I can’t recommend staying here enough!

My partner and I loved our stay on the Rogue. The tent was cozy with the wood burning stove and we made some amazing meals in the outdoor kitchen. It felt very private and there were so many trails to explore. Couldn’t quite get to the river through the blackberries though. Would definitely return!

Everything was great! The tent has all of the comforts of home. From the comfy bed, to the wood stove, the cute lanterns, a nice soft rug to walk on, a table and chair all thoughtfully placed. The sitting bench at the end of the bed with baskets of more soft blankets added to the charm.. The porch offers a nice place to sit and relax. I loved the fire pit, outdoor shower, the outlook, and the sink space outside of the out house. The beautiful bouquets of wildflowers in mason jars make you forget where you are. There are just the right amount homey touches in this outdoor space, you can see how it lives up to its name. The kitchen area had all of the essentials to prepare food; dishes, utensils, pots, pans, tea kettle, a cooktop stove, bbq grill, and a sink. The picnic table is another nice place to take in the beautiful views while eating. Surrounded by tall trees and sounds of nature made it so easy to be outdoors all day and into the night. There are motion sensor lights to help you get around easily after dark. The quality linens and blankets on the bed give you a pleasant place to retreat. Everything was clean, fresh, and beautifully designed and built. I was quite fond of the steps to the tent, the hand rails, the structure that supports the tent are all made of wood. I’m assuming from the trees on the land. They really pay attention to the finer details. I would highly recommend Rogue River Glamping!

Beautiful place

Beautiful place, very nice setup. Loved the wood stove in the tent, and the outdoor kitchen setup. Also liked the motion sensored lights really helped when getting up in the middle of the night.

Group trip

I cannot explain how amazing this HipCamp site is! Katie and Zach have gone above and beyond to make it the most incredible place! The bed was so comfortable and the site had everything you need! They were so kind to stock the yeti cooler on the porch with ice prior to our arrival! We even had a nice treat to see a bear on one of their sites trials. We felt so safe and slept very well! I will definitely be back :)

We loved our stay at Rogue River Glamping. It exceeded our expectations! Not only was the interior of the tent beautiful, but the surroundings were magical. It was incredible to disconnect in nature. We would recommend the tree top studio to anyone traveling to Southern Oregon, and would love to stay again ourselves (for longer next time)!

Near Grants Pass a great little town. The drive up was easy is our Ford Explorer. The hosts provide a wagon to cart your things down a hill, I do wish is was a more sturdy type cart with depth so things don’t fall, wagon was not that useful. The Buildings on property were awesome nice platform, shower and bath very nice yurt and bed so comfortable slept well. I was hoping for a better view of river as you sit high up from it. But a lot of beautiful trees prevented. I did hear a dog barking across river and but lucky enough to also hear sone owls hooting away. I would return.

Peaceful Glamping-all amenities

We had a wonderful time at Kathleen's Rogue River glamping. It's quite remote however all the amenities you could need are provided right there from the Yeti cooler, to lanterns, the most comfy bed with high end hotel quality sheets. The loo worked out fine-loved the automatic little light. Didn't get to use the shower but that looked nice too! Very peaceful!

Glamping in Style

This was a beautiful stylish glamping tent on a beautiful woodsy property. We loved the outdoor shower and outhouse design. All the amenities of the tent were very thoughtful and well done. The host was very accommodating as we booked last minute since we were road tripping through. Grants Pass is a lovely town to explore as well. We’ll be back.

The setting for Katie’s site is serene and beautiful. The area is quiet and lovely, and the tent itself and bath house and shower are thoughtfully constructed and outfitted. Katie had ice in the cooler for our arrival, and was super responsive to any questions. I am a reluctant camper, but this was a great experience!!!! The goats are also adorable.

Bed with a View!

We booked this spot for one night on our road trip and truly wished we could have stayed longer. It was a very hot night but we brought our own battery powered fan and left all the windows and doors open with just the screens and it was perfect! Very private, romantic and thoughtful. The layout and location were beautiful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay

Everything was perfect. The Glamp site was set up nicely. Good amenities and attention to detail. Great view and very relaxing. Very appreciative of the motion activated lights as we arrived later in the evening. I took a shower at night and freaked myself out with all the noises I heard. Don't be like me and go enjoy that shower! I would definitely recommend. Thanks for a wonderful Stay, we hope to visit again soon.
