A short walk puts you right across from the spectacular view of Beaver Lake. During the day, you might see turtles, blue jays and red squirrels...sometimes even deer.
At night, the view of the stars is priceless.
Except for the paved areas, most of the terrain is very rocky, hilly and the forest is mainly pine, cedar and poplar. Creeks, ponds and swamps throughout.
15 mins from Moira Lake, if you're looking for a good boat launch.
A 10 min drive gets you to Tim Hortons, McDonalds and Madoc city center.
