This was such a memorable camping experience. The host, an elderly gentleman, warmly greeted us and kindly explained everything when we arrived, which made us feel immediately comfortable. He even showed us the fresh eggs laid by his chickens — such a charming touch! There was plenty of firewood prepared, so we really enjoyed sitting by the fire. The cozy bedroom made our night warm and restful, and we loved being able to take a peaceful walk to the nearby lake. Most of all, the privacy of the site made it feel like a true retreat. We’d love to come back again for sure!

We tent camped at river site. The site was a great a walk from parking. We had ample spots to pitch, and a great angle for watching the sunsets, and to have a mellow rise in the morning. The fit pit is great and the cooking rack matched perfectly. The Host was a gem, Perfect, very easy and and fun to boot. Will be booking again. We booked this site as it seamed the closest To Devils Glen Provincial Park, and closer to to rock climbing parking spot at Devils Glen. It allowed for a direct route through Fllesherton that has a couple great coffee and take away breakfast options.

Pine the sky is hands down one of the best campsites l've ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, our host Joan, made us feel completely comfortable and at home. She's super friendly and puts a lot of care into making the campsite special. The site itself is stunning- nestled in nature with a trail that leads to a breathtaking view of the river. The space was clean, peaceful and perfectly set up for a relaxing escape or an adventure packed weekend. We highly recommend Pine the Sky!!

Weekend Trip to Cozy Forest Dome

We stayed for a quick overnight visit. Fran was very accommodating and the communication throughout our stay was great. Fran has a very nice property, we wish we had more time to explore but or schedule didn't allow for it. We did get a chance to check out her incredible art work, which is a very nice addition to the dome and the grounds. We would def book again in the future.

We stayed at the Strawberry Fields Bunkie during Easter weekend and we had a great time despite the chilly weather. Joan was very gracious host. The property is big and very private; will definitely come back.

Beautiful area. We stayed in the lakeside dome which is being set up for accessibility. We got a tour of the dome on the hill. Next trip we will use that one. Very private, amazing views. Hot tub at both makes for a relaxing romantic stay. Owner was very responsive for any questions or issues and resolved quickly.

This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community. It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night. The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead. There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company. The cabin is in the middle of a private 5-acre property across from Turtle Lake and spans turtle lake road, to Donnelly and Poke Road, so it’s easily defined by the roads around the land. There is no direct access to the lake, but there are many lakes and beaches within a short drive. There are also many quaint towns to visit, beautiful hiking trails to explore all nearby. The main floor has a pull-out double bed, and the loft has 2 sets of bunk beds, ideal for kids. The bathroom facility is a newly built very airy eco-outhouse - you will be pleasantly surprised! There is a sink to wash up, and an outdoor shower, but for now, only cold water is available. This an ideal family getaway or a romantic getaway, I look forward to hosting you!
