Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire)
The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk.
We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi.
Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug.
We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, and more!
The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here.

Staying with us you accept the following:
Our ranch is on Gun Lake Road, close to Tyax Lake, 30 minutes from Gold Bridge and Bralorne. It is about 2 hours west of Lillooet or north of Pemberton (6 hours from Vancouver) on a remote road with paved and gravel sections and no cell service.
There is no cell service or TV at our location. Wi‑Fi is usually available but cannot be guaranteed due to weather and other natural factors outside our control. We have access to a landline if urgent calls need to be made.
You are responsible for leaving the cabin/your room and the area around it clean and free of food and garbage. Each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabins when they leave, such as doing the laundry, washing all dishes. At the end of your stay, please bring all garbage to the main house so we do not attract critters and bears.
We live in a true wilderness environment. The cabin water system uses filtered creek water and, though not common, there is always the possibility for water pressure to fluctuate.
Weather and other variables can change quickly in the mountains. We expect guests to approach challenges with a positive, solution‑oriented mindset and to be respectful of nature, other guests and our team. We are experienced in dealing with nature’s challenges and will find a solution together.

You can explore ours down to the river or you can drive to other locations like the Horsehoe (a great swim spot), Carpenter Lake (great for swimming, too), Lac La Mere (good for fishing), Carol Lake, and much more.

Our ranch is on Gun Lake Road, close to Tyax Lake, 30 minutes from Gold Bridge and Bralorne. It is about 2 hours west of Lillooet or north of Pemberton (6 hours from Vancouver) on a remote road with paved and gravel sections and no cell service.
There is no cell service or TV at our location. Wi‑Fi is usually available but cannot be guaranteed due to weather and other natural factors outside our control. We have access to a landline if urgent calls need to be made.
You are responsible for leaving the cabin/your room and the area around it clean and free of food and garbage. Each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabins when they leave, such as doing the laundry, washing all dishes. At the end of your stay, please bring all garbage to the main house so we do not attract critters and bears.
We live in a true wilderness environment. The cabin water system uses filtered creek water and, though not common, there is always the possibility for water pressure to fluctuate.
Weather and other variables can change quickly in the mountains. We expect guests to approach challenges with a positive, solution‑oriented mindset and to be respectful of nature, other guests and our team. We are experienced in dealing with nature’s challenges and will find a solution together.

Get away from it all when you stay under the old growth cedars and maples of the Sooke River.
This nature dome has one bunk bed with an additional pullout. A small solar system will run lights and a fan.
There is a composting toilet, a wood burning fireplace in the winter, and a propane fireplace in the summer. The dome is totally private on a 10 acre farm with nature trials.
This quiet and tranquil setting is perfect for family camping, mediation and writing retreats, or a quiet getaway.

Greg is an incredible host, he is so thoughtful in everything from the sunscreen in the bathroom, to the various seasonings for the grill. You can tell that he very much wants to create and share an experience rather than most hosts who only want your money. What a lovely and memorable experience, we will certainly be back!

Weekend Trip to Hayward Trails Camping
I would absolutely recommend Hayward Trail camping. Leah and Caleb were great, always so fast at communicating with me which is a bonus! They showed my son and his friends the trail to hike to get to Hayward Lake where they enjoyed their time fishing. The spring weather was too cold to swim , but it would be great for swimming in the warmer months! The trailer and surrounding areas had everything you needed., just bring your food and bedding, it was perfect! They will for sure be back to enjoy more outdoor camping! Thank you for being such great hosts!

We had such an amazing 2 night stay at the Cozy & Unforgettable Lakewood Cabin. We are a group of five and it was such a great experience.
The host is so friendly and accommodating. The horse, the goat, the chicken, and the baby ducks were all wonderful.
Would definitely come back again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Michael and Amy’s Lakewood Cabin!
From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The creek running beside the cabin was incredibly calming — we could hear it from the deck and it made every moment feel peaceful. The Enchanted Forest walk right nearby was a highlight; it was so serene and beautiful, perfect for clearing your mind. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, making our stay effortless and comfortable. Directions were excellent and it was very easy to find. Even over spring break, the price was more than reasonable for what we got. The outdoor shower was an absolute treat — liberating, quiet, and surprisingly peaceful with nature all around us. The BBQ worked perfectly, and the firewood was cheap and easy to get if you don’t bring your own. A special memory was meeting Stella the horse — she was so gentle and kind with my children, which made the trip extra magical for the kids. We loved it so much that we’d go back next weekend if we could! We’re already planning our return trip later this year. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway in a beautiful natural setting. So close to town, yet felt hours away.

Michael and his family have an amazing space. It has all the amenities one could need and is quiet and peaceful. Everyone there is extremely friendly but there is enough space between cabins to feel like you have your own personal space if that's what you want. The Enchanted Forest trail is fantastic for all ages and kids will love it! Absolutely recommend! Will definitely be back.

Our 2-night stay was wonderful. The cabin was superb and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. The vibe is laid-back, surrounded by nature, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with. The place is incredibly peaceful—the sound of the creek was so calming and helped us sleep well. The kids had a great time playing in the creek with their boat and exploring the mini trail. We would definitely love to come back again.
