The address of Storia Vale is 9046 Painted Cliffs Private Road, lot #11. Storia Vale is a cozy young camp ground offering off-grid tenting camp sites and unique "tiny home" style outfitted stays. Get away from (some of) it all, with a quick trip into nature whilst still being close to plenty of activities and amenities! The property hosts a valley (or vale) with Clark Creek running through it. The ridgeline above offers a stunning view of the marsh and surrounding woodlands! Wildlife abounds at Storia Vale, you may encounter critters ranging from Steller's Jays, hawks, ravens, weasels, deer, moose, bears, coyotes, squirrels... and more! Located about 35 minutes drive outside of Kelowna on Rock Creek HWY 33. Approximately 7 minutes past the turn off to Big White Ski Resort. The address of Storia Vale is 9046 Painted Cliffs Private Road, lot #11. Both numbers are clearly marked by signage on the third driveway on your left after turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road. The camp is located next to a highway so please be aware that road noise is audible. At the start of your drive to Storia Vale, there is a sharp hairpin turn in the highway as you are leaving Kelowna. If you are unfamiliar with this highway, please do pay mind to the road signage and be cautious with speed at this section of road. There is also a section of winding uphill road on the way to Big White which is best navigated with care. Traveling east from town, once you see the turn off for Big White you'll have about 7 minutes drive remaining to get to the turn off for Painted Cliffs Private Rd. Please use caution when turning onto Painted Cliffs Private Road as it is a dirt/gravel surface and will offer less traction than paved roadways. Once you have located the driveway, you will find your camp site clearly marked. Please park your vehicle in the provided driveway space closest to your site. Please also note that there are currently NO flush toilets or showers at Storia Vale. Outhouses and gravity fed potable water dispensers are the only available washroom amenities available on site. There is an outdoor dish wash station located near the solar array which is shared by all campers. Potable water can be retrieved at the wash station.

Storia Vale Campground: 9046 Painted Cliffs Private Road, lot #11 The Glade, tent site #1: Screened from the neighboring sites by privacy dead hedges. You'll have plenty of space to set up your camping gear in the shade of the pines. Set up ONLY within your specified site, as other campers may have reserved the other sites on the property. Please read and follow the posted rules found on the INFO board on the side of the seacan. Failure to adhere to campground rules may result in being asked to leave. The site includes: - One parking space (enquire with your host if you need more parking) - Wi-fi: Vale WiFi / Pass: St0riavale - Stone lined fire circle - Wood for burning - Access to potable water - Outhouse facilities - Access to picnic tables as well as some books, toys, and games. This is a basic tenting site with one parking space. There is no garbage/recycling collection on site. Pack out all garbage when you leave "Leave no trace". The site is not suitable for large campers or RVs though small trailers may be accommodated. There are no "hook-ups" of any kind for trailers or RV's. There is no cell service in the area however WiFi is available throughout Storia Vale. It is highly recommended to enable Wi-Fi calling and download offline maps before travelling to the area. Power is available for phones and small electronics charging (Enquire with your host as to where it is appropriate to plug in devices). Storia Vale is located near a highway, road noise is audible. There are various animals/wildlife in the area. Please be aware that you may encounter anything from a chipmunk to a neighbors dog, or even a coyote/bear. Plan accordingly. Please do not bring groups larger than 6. The limit on numbers of campers correlates to availability of facilities. Rudeness toward the owner, staff, or other residents of the area or failure to read/follow property rules will result in expulsion from the property.

Welcome to your stay in The Magic Bus! Take time out from town and spend a while staring at trees, sitting by a fire, grilling up a meal, and pooping in an outhouse! Nestled amongst the trees of Storia Vale, unwind in this cozy and quaint lil home on wheels. The Magic Bus is a converted 1989 Bluebird mini bus which has been turned into a cedar lined cabin. Wifi and some electric lights will be your only modern amenities, leaving you to relax and get in touch with nature.

The Pavilion

The Pavilion tent is a dreamy outfitted tent. Located in Storia Vale, you'll be surrounded by lodge pole pines and serenaded by bird song! Sleep the night away in this fully furnished tent with, gas burner, water and cooking utensils, a double bed, games, books, as well as a power bank for running twinkle lights and charging phones. Explore the Vale, and spend your evening telling stories around a crackling fire. Currently outhouse facilities are the only on-site bathrooms.

I did enjoy the camp site while there. Everything the posted was available to me. Except for the occasional traffic noise, the site was quite peaceful. Really enjoyed all the wildlife the would approach our little tent .

We enjoyed being 35 minutes outside of kelowna where it would still be cool at night. Beautiful forested area. We liked it so much we stayed a few more days. Clean and quiet for those who prefer no electricity. Our cat loved being outside on leash.

Had a magical time on the bus!
The Magic Bus
After our second day on the kettle valley rail trail, we were delighted to stop for the day at Storia Vale! We stayed in the Magic Bus and it was so delightful. Everything in the cabin was thoughtful - from the detailed note on stoking the fire, to the multi port charger (including charging cables for our phones!), to the head of bed lights that were held by magnets so you can take it outside to use the bathroom at night! The bonus was Victoria hung out with us for a while while we made dinner and is so so lovely! Shared stories of some people who stay who seem to want space and how she is happy to give it, but me being a yapper chatted her ear off. Can't wait to visit again, and she shared her plans of what is to come - so exciting!!
