A small solar system will run lights and a fan. There is a composting toilet, a wood burning fireplace in the winter, and a propane fireplace in the summer. The dome is totally private on a 10 acre farm with nature trials. Private Dome in Lush Forest
Old Growth Forest Retreat
Manon's dome in the forest is in a great location minutes away from the famous Sooke River Potholes as well as the town of Sooke. The space is private, tucked beneath large trees with a composting toilet and covered fire pit steps away. The inside of the dome is cozy but not cramped, even equipped with a wood fireplace for shoulder season and winter stays. The property features a number of paths through the lush forest, and horses graze in the field nearby. Along with the nearby Potholes, Sooke Region Museum is also a short drive away, plus numerous walking trails, and nearly limitless beaches close by. Be cautious regarding wildlife, as I spotted a couple bear droppings during my stay. I would certainly recommend Manon's place as a basecamp to explore Sooke.

Beautiful spot, we definitely enjoyed our stay here. Lots of mosquitos so would recommend bringing bug spray if you want to hang out outside!
