We DO NOT allow guests to have visitors so if you want to share your experience with your friends or family they need to book their own site. We are a family friendly campground so if you are looking for a place to get wild and party, keep looking. If you are looking for a place to get away, relax and enjoy the river then keep reading! You will have awesome views, a picnic table and a fire pit, don’t forget the S’mores! We offer river access for floating, paddling, swimming or fishing. We do not offer a boat launch so if your water toy is on a trailer leave that at home! We do not have trash service so you are required to take your trash with you when you leave. This site will accommodate 6 people and 2 pets. Please don’t ask if you can bring more, the answer is no. We do not allow tents on this site so make sure everyone has a place to sleep in your RV. We include 1 vehicle with the site and you may bring a 2nd vehicle for a $10 charge.
Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park is located on 4.8 acres with serene views on the Medina River. Be aware that river levels vary widely. Sometimes we have a lake, sometimes a river, and sometimes a stream. Check for recent photos on our FB page or on Google to get an idea of the river levels. Even when the river is low we have a great swimming hole so bring your chairs, hats, sunscreen and shades. Come spend a weekend or longer at our little slice of paradise. Remember to invite your friends or family to stay at one of our other 2 RV sites, 4 rustic tent sites, the cabin, or our retro RV “Stella” so they can enjoy some downtime too! Bandera is just 20 minutes away and there is always something going on. It offers some great restaurants, a museum, several shops and best of all, Cowboys! If you like to hike the Hill Country State Natural Area boasts 40 miles of trails and is just a short drive away. If you are into horses there are a few local businesses that offer horseback riding. Come on down y'all, play in the river and enjoy the views!

We actually rented out the entire campground (with the exception of the cabin) for a week during the 4th of July.
Carol-anne, Lyn and Andrea (camp host) were tremendously welcoming and fun to chat with.
Boulderdash itself is a great little park, secluded and pretty with good access to the river.
Great for kids, dogs and adults.
Excellent get away spot. Definitely a great place if you want to escape to nature. Friendly hosts, great scenery, and plenty of deer!

Our first time visiting Boulderdash and it was a great experience. We were greeted with kindness and host were willing to assist in anyway possible. They showed us where we needed to park our RV and stated if we needed anything just to give them a call. We took our grandkids and they had fun, we walked down to the bottom of the site#2, we sat out on the lighted deck in the evening and enjoyed just relaxing, we also turned on the pit and enjoyed that as well....it was just a very nice experience.

For our first foray into RV camping it could not have been better. Carol-Anne and Lyn were very gracious and welcoming hosts. They turned what could have been a terrible situation into a much less terrible one. Our Brakes failed on our 35 foot older Motor Home 5 mile from arrival And while it took some 7 hours to arrange a heavy duty Wrecker, our hosts kept offering to help in any way they could. From finding a space for us, even though they were "sold out" to offering to drive to another town to pick up parts to repair our brakes. I hate to give them such a glowing review, because it may mean they wou't be available next time, but they deserve it

Nice, private, quiet getaway. Even though the River was low it was only a short walk/wade to find a refreshing swimming hole. Nice touch of having corn for the 20-30 deer that came by each night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The River was low, but it was still perfect for our young ones to swim in. We loved feeding the birds and the view was fantastic at night with the deck lit up. We enjoyed the firewood bundle and had a wonderful fire with s’mores. It was a great stay. Quiet and peaceful!
