2 nights at Boulderdash Cabin & Camping

I would definitely consider myself an avid outdoorsman/camper, and let me tell you that I am glad that I found this spot. This location has everything you need, restrooms, community sink, and amazing access to the river. The campgrounds are very clean, and the RV sites are perfect. Carol Ann and Lyn put their passion for camping and traveling into their property. And it shows. These people made us feel like we were family, and honestly just want you to have a great experience while you’re at Boulderdash. If I could give this place 10 stars I gladly would. Thank you all very much me and my family, Hope to see you all soon again!

Weekend Trip to Terraqueous RV Resort

We booked last minute and the hosts were very accommodating. The property was amazing and well kept up. This is a great place for family’s with and without kids alike. There are plenty of amenities from a catch and release pond, a giant sandpit, playgrounds, swimming pool, huge splashed, and an adult only pool and bar.

This was a quick get away for the wife and I. This place did not disappoint in anyway. We enjoyed the river, watching the firefly's, and the deer. Ellie was super helpful and very accommodating. Will defiantly be back!!

Weekend Trip to Mockingbird Farms

Where do we start? The Boo Radley Bunkhouse was absolutely perfect — the bed was comfortable, and the space was cute, cozy, and well-equipped. The outdoor shower (with hot water!!) was great. And the path from the bunkhouse to the bathroom was easy to follow, which was a plus since we showed up late at night and had to find our way around. Cait and her merry band of misfits (engaging family, escape artist goats, and other two- and four- legged friends) kept us frequently entertained, but also gave us space to enjoy our anniversary trip undisturbed. We got lucky with the weather and got to light a campfire and look at the stars, but I don't think hearing rain on the bunkhouse's tin roof would've been too bad either. We will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend making the 45ish minute drive to Freidrich Wilderness Park as well — we saw/ heard several endangered birds, and the varied terrain (especially the Vista Loop) made for unexpectedly good hiking so close to San Antonio.

My group & I loved camping here. It was beautiful, hosts were quick to respond/helpful when needed, amenities were better than expected! Outdoor showers/sink/bathrooms were nice. The space was also bigger than we expected. Only thing I'd recommend is to bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The dogs in the neighborhood would bark occasionally in the night/early AM and any sounds echo from the river canyon. It wasn't a deal-breaker but ear plugs made all the difference in sleep quality. Also, even though the river was low, the water was refreshing/clean & we were able to swim plenty (perfect for floats/paddleboards). Overall, a wonderful experience & we look forward to coming back!

Located-10 minutes from Canyon Lake -20 minutes from Wimberley, San Marcos and Blanco. Wynona’s is perfectly situated to some of the sweetest towns in Texas! The space We love camping so much we decided to make our own Glamping experience in our backyard! The rental includes your yurt, but you get to use the common space!! In total we have 4 bell tents. Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. IMPORTANT! There is an additional $25/yurt if you want to use the hot tub during your stay. Mockingbird Farms

Heavily wooded acreage with goats, horses and donkeys. There is no light pollution and if there are no clouds you can see the stars very clearly. We have a ton of wild birds. Owls and Cara Cara are common. There are deer, feral hog and two resident packs of coyote. We also have ring tail cats, which are nocturnal and rare. The best seasons are October 1st thru the end of April. It gets VERY hot and dry in the summer and can just be miserable. We have a shared bathroom and an outdoor shower and tub. If you are a single woman or a family with children, we don't take other bookings while you are visiting the farm. You will have the place to yourselves. The only exception being my family and I, if we are working or staying over at the farm. We should have a second bunkhouse up and running by fall of 2025. If you are tent camping, you may camp anywhere on the property but there are certain spaces that may make curious horses your roomies.

At this site Live Oaks tower above you and provide shade all day long. At night cozy up by the camp fire or turn on the solar lights for a nice ambiance as you roast marshmallows and listen to the wildlife around you. Expect to hear donkeys, chickens, peacocks and see lots of wildlife such as, white tail deer, axis deer and wild birds such as, painted buntings, scarlet tanagers, scissor tails and many more. It is just a short drive to Boerne, Bandera, Helotes and 40 min from San Antonio. The Hill Country State Natural Area is nearby where you can enjoy hiking and horseback riding, and if you are looking to get on the water you are only minutes away from Medina Lake for fishing, boating, and swimming. Feel free to explore the wooded campgrounds or explore the flower beds. Keep in mind that you are able to see our home from this campsite during the day.

We are situated in South Canyon Lake, known for its crystal blue waters. The space This listing is for both campers The cactus camper has a dinette and two couches that convert into a small double bed and two twins. It also has a bunk available for maximum two kids 140lb weight limit. The camper includes a full bathroom with a shower and toilet. Keep in mind, these are small spaces and may be challenging for some people. The height of the camper is 6' 2 1/2" and the length of the bed is 6'. The small double can sleep two people who are not afraid to be close. The bamboo bunk has a dinette and couch that converts either into a small double bed and a single or a large king-size bed. It has a canvas bunk available for a maximum of two kids with a 140lb weight limit. The camper includes a full bathroom with a shower and toilet. Keep in mind, these are small spaces and may be challenging for some people. The height of the camper is 6'1 1/2" and the length of the beds is 6'. The small double can sleep two people who are not afraid to be close. You will have access to a garden with a fountain, chimeneas, grill, seating, and lights. There is ample parking space. We are close to a major road so there will be traffic sounds and our home is located on the same property within view with a shared driveway. There is a small hiking prayer trail with hill country views that has some steep inclines. There is a picnic table at the the top, if you would like to have a picnic. We have camping spots, (2) rv electric hook ups and a small cabin to sleep in. Our property is on 14 acres. We have open pastures and forested areas. Whether you are seeking to escape the city hustle and bustle, or want a small taste of the homestead life, this is a great place to be! We are located about 35 minutes from San Antonio, 25 minutes from Boerne and 15 minutes from the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera, TX! We do have a visible neighboring property.
