What an amazing site to visit!! Not only was our Host, Melissa, extremely responsive via text message and in-app, but she was very accommodating to the experience we were seeking as campers. We arrived late to the site because of our commute (9PM), and she still received and guided us upon arrival! She understood we wanted a private, primitive experience on-site, and she gave several suggestions where to visit on her property for just that. Not only were we given suggestions, but we were also provided a property map, and a series of landmarks to look for when hiking through the land. Not only did I feel prepared, but I felt safe knowing I had cell-service and a responsive host just a phone call away, in case of emergency. Dirt roads provided easy access to majority of the property for campsite exploration.

Her beautiful property was over 100 acres and subdivided into different sections for their ranch activities. The lands ranged from large open spaces near the barn for groups/family occasions, open pastures for hiking, and completely dense/wooded areas for wood-foraging and privacy. We decided to camp along one of their dirt roads, tucked away into a niche in their forest; it was far enough from the barn/store to have total privacy from all of the ranch activities, yet close enough not to feel unsafe or isolated. We were able to watch her free range cattle walk the property, safely from our site - none were aggressive, and they all seemed very used to the sight of campers.

All of this was amazing in itself, but Melissa had even more to offer: a farm-store where you could purchase drinks/eggs/general food-stuffs straight from their ranch, restroom amenities around store-hours, ATV ride alongs, a large outdoor pool (though we didn't try it), and small bodies of water for fishing. We bought eggs, bacon, sourdough bread and cookies from her store: I recommend ALL!!

I will definitely be revisiting the ranch again. The experience was so diverse, and we were able to simply choose what we wanted to do. You don't typically get the opportunity to really define what experience you're seeking like the way you can here. Car-camping was made simple with the dirt roads, and backpacking was very easy with the site-map and landmarks. What an amazing time!!

I loved that the campgrounds were on a farm and they had their own A2 milk. It’s amazing. I also loved that they had their own restaurant during the day. It was nice to eat at. Down sides were that they only had a shower available during 10-11am and there were no toilets after they closed their shop/restaurant. So if you wanted showers and toilets then you need to prepare or go elsewhere. That was the only disappointing part of it. Other then that Melissa was a great host and was super nice about everything. It was a cute farm to visit on my journey.

Another great shot of lunchLunch with baked potato beef and really yum stuffing Their kitchen Such wonderful goodies

Drove here to get away from the city life and boy it did not disappoint. There were farm animals up close and personal with us we would be swimming in the pool (extremely clean btw) and the cows would come by and watch us watch them. We stopped in at the store for some carrots for the horses and we stayed for the absolutely best baked potato I have ever eaten. The shop is super cute and there are locals stopping in to eat as well the atmosphere is very welcoming. The camp site was well groomed and secluded but still within reasonable distance from the common area and store. The pond was a decent size and the chickens kept us company while the pigs showed off. Melissa was very helpful even showed us three camping options at 10:30 AT NIGHT. Very accommodating, highly recommended & will be returning.

Was a very exciting camping trip with a 1 1/2 year old but he was so excited about the animals and all the open areas to explore made the trip a whole lot easier. They had everything we needed in a camping (tent) trip. I cannot say enough about their area.

We were very happy with our stay at 4C Ranch! We camped at one of the primitive sites they offer and it was great! Melissa was very helpful with booking and came out to greet us upon our arrival (even after we arrived later than expected). We have an overland/off-grid trailer with a rooftop tent and also a ground tent which our spot was more large enough to accommodate. I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants to off-grid camp but still be close enough to the other amenities if you need them. We didn't get to stop in the market since we did a quick overnight, but are hoping to plan another trip soon!
