Super relaxing
We had a great time here and would recommend if you're looking for something isolated from other campers. The river and setting is beautiful. The 'glampsite' was well equipped with everything we needed.
And the best part was our little doggy having a blast being allowed off leash.
We would definitely return at some point in the future.

So beautiful, amazing camp sites alongside river looking apon amazing rocky mountains. I took kayak but the river is too fast flowing and dangerous so only bring if there has not been much rain. But highly recommend so peaceful.

Just perfect!
Everything set up and ready to go! Only needed to transfer drinks to the fridge and relax mode was engaged! Everything so well thought out and gorgeous location right next to water. Firetub a great addition, awesome to sit in under the stars! My friends were jealous of the pics and looking to book their trips, I’ll be back!

A great bush/river camp
We wanted to head to a more remote camp on this recent trip, and Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat ticked all the boxes. We were there when the air temp was around 37 degrees, so we had great delight in spending most of the day, in and out of the Timbarra River, 50 steps from our campsite. Kristy was excellent in the communication side of finding the property etc, and as a low Telstra signal was available. we were able to meet at a predetirmined place, for her to show us to our camp. She was the perfect host and left us to our own designs and just requested a message when we had navigated out of the property, to ensure we were ok. The drive into the camps is between 8 and 16 degees of slope, but rocky and not too slippery. Coming back up was a lot harder but still quite achievable as long as you know your car and towing weight. The camp was great, tucked away amongst the trees next to the river. The banks of the river were mostly sandy and river rocks, making it great swimming in the fast flowing parts of the river, but still very nice in the still parts to just sit and cool off. The camp site had plenty of areas to access direct sun for the solar panels, and night time proved to be excellent satelite and star gazing. Firewood can be collected around the property, but suggest that a chainsaw would be of help, as the already felled timbers were all large. We managed with a 10 inch electric saw, but this was a stretch for it. All in all, we loved the camp, very private. We will be back.
