Bush camping on 100 acres in the Tinderry Range at about 1400 metres altitude. Seclusion and adventure all within an hour of Canberra and twenty minutes from Michelago and the Monaro highway. Big skies and dark nights for star-gazing are likely; or perhaps you'll be nestled in cloud; or hidden by falling snow. There are numerous tracks with spectacular views around the property for bush walking or mountain bike riding. The tracks are surrounded by sub-alpine flora and fauna (such as wallaby's, wombats, lyrebirds) and nearby in the Tinderry Nature Reserve. Tinderry Range is a rugged range east of the Monaro highway accessed mostly through Michelago or an hour and a half from Braidwood (when dirt roads are reasonable). The range is only around 70km away from the coast, thus enabling a sea mist to often roll over us in the late afternoon. Summer temperatures are a pleasant 6 degrees or so cooler than nearby Canberra. You may choose between a number of options for camping depending on your camping desires and set up. There are numerous tracks around our property or nearby Tinderry Nature Reserve. You may go exploring to find the springs or choose to stick to easy walking tracks that follow the contours. We will provide a map. Tracks are also great for mountain bike riding and exploring the unusual mix of sub-alpine, montane and coastal flora and fauna. There is numerous species of bird life and regular calls from lyre birds. This area has fascinating history with the largest eucalyptus distillery in Australia until the late 1950's and very popular with a number of bushrangers such as the Clarke Brothers who had numerous hideouts. No amenities. BYO camping toilet and leave no trace. Campfires (except on fire ban days or when we advise otherwise) are okay--usually recommended. Normally dry firewood is easy to find, or purchase some from us if you prefer. The exception is the bell tent glamping option,' Tin Can Ridge Glamping' which has a toilet included as well as firewood and shortly its own wood stove! Some campsites are best accessed by 4WD, or on foot. or gain access to the glamping tent with us escorting you. Camp lightly. No hunting. Do nothing illegal. Take all waste with you. Respect the land, the wildlife and people. Keep the peace. Enjoy.

We also have a beautiful horse Ali and her yearling colt diesel, just watch your fingers with him, gelded now but still thinks he’s a stallion. 5 fat Dorper sheep look like running rugs running around. A real country experience! An Angora goat and slashed tracks to access the beautiful 130 acres around the farm. The small village of Michelago is 5km from our property, has the fuel servo and a terrific General Store, which serves great burgers and milkshakes plus much more. 20mins to the town of Bredbo with its own pub is great for counter lunches and dinners. The Town of Cooma, the gateway to the Snowy mountains is a 40 min drive south. Also if you want to go camping with friends and introduce them to the great outdoors and they don’t have the gear ask about our hire service of all things needed to have a great camp, some are listed but more is always available to hire, just send me a message. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings. The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property. There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming. If you're looking for natural beauty, you'll be spoilt for choice. Take a drive along the coast and discover beautiful, secluded beaches, or explore the nearby forests and waterfalls. Our riverside camp sites are great for large or small groups boasting generously sized and spaced grassed sites offering beautiful views of the abundant Moruya river along with individual firepits* Whatever your interests, Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps are the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the South Coast has to offer. THE IMPORTANT STUFF: ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion. PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property. AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site. There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites. RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river. FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open) WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property. *FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting. Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood. A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow. Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehicle traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

Wildlife is plentiful here, so please respect the environment and clean up after your self. There are some amazing local beaches only minutes to Potato Point or down the back track 10 minute drive or, ride your pushie or walk (its a bit of a walk) - straight to Blackfellows Point at Potato Point. There are lovely walking tracks around the property and lots of fishing, kayaking, SUP or pop your Tinnie in and fish till sunset or just plain lazy days. Watch the sunrise or walk to the other side of the property and watch the sunset. Watching the moon rise on the lake is quite beautiful. Launch your tinny and go fishing or simply kayak or lazy around. The site is dog friendly, but your pet must be well behaved and not aggressive as there may be other campers and pets on the property during your stay and a Sunset Point Camp Cat. You may not be right next to each other but please respect other guests, with noise. Just 10 minutes from the charming village of Bodalla, which was founded on the back of dairy farming and cheese production back in the 1860s. 30 minutes drive either way to the hubs of Narooma and Moruya. No barking dogs and no loud music or parties. This is a peaceful getaway. Short car trip to famous beaches where you leave nothing but footprints. It's our secret!

Swan Farm is a scenic, relaxing and peaceful spot to stay. We had a lovely spot by the creek bed where we could enjoy the views surrounded by hills and farm views. This is a great place to stay with short drives into Canberra or Cooma. Carly was a fabulous host!

Well, you leave home to go away from home (duh !) but when you experience the welcome and friendliness of Carly and Andrew at Swan Farm, you still feel at home !. Easy to find, friendly cows, great site, great views to the mountains and Jack and Diane will charm your socks off. The land itself ? - flat, big, easy to peg into and as the description says, be self-contained and take all your rubbish out.

This is a special part of the world - lots of tall trees, beside a sweet lake, peace and quiet, not far from Potato Point for a beach swim and Bodalla for a coffee at the cafe or a beer at the pub. Sally is a friendly accommodating host. A recommended site. We’ll be back.

5 nights at Neringla

Sez + myself had a wonderfull stay @ Pete's farm. We camped along Neringla Creek with plenty of shad and protection. The sound of the crek was very relaxing. Pete is a wonderful host allowing Sez to wonder about to paint and sketch. The Hipcamp is not far from Sydney for a very relaxing place to camp.

1 night at Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps

I recently had an overnight stop while heading down the coast. I was pleasantly surprised with how much space I had on my allocated site, that I had an individual port-a-loo that was perfectly clean and no smell. I was greeted and the host was friendly and helpful offering if I would like to purchase some firewood. I declined due to the drizzly rain on and off, but it would be lovely to use the fire pit that’s supplied at each site. The outlook of the horse paddocks and surrounding hills and river were also lovely. I’ll definitely stay again if heading down that way.

We really enjoyed our tent camping beside Borang Lake. Our site was right beside the water so very easy access to get our kayaks in and lots of waterways to explore. We did a little fishing from the shore and caught a couple of fish. Very private and peaceful and the view from our site allowed us to enjoy some great sunsets! Additionally, Sally was very helpful and easily contactable.

1 night at Glenduart Farm Riverside Camps

Fabulous place to stay on the river. It's lovely to watch sunset over the property and their horses. I parked my van on a nice site and the portapotty was very clean and user friendly. They have a tiny house which would be great for a girls or romantic getaway and will be back for that. Such a friendly and nice place to stay. Highly recommend. Thank you

Weekend Trip to Wombat Pines - Glamping and Camping

Peaceful & quiet location. You must be self sufficient, although there is a toilet nearby. We saw birds, kangaroos & wombats. A great place to unwind. Luke was a great communicator & very welcoming.

2 nights at Riverview Farm, Bodalla

Very easy access and well signed to get to your spot. The amount of space on the paddocks is crazy and nice and flat. We got lucky and were the only ones there, very quite and have fire pits at spots, we were unlucky to use them due TFB. Perfect location to do your day trips from and take your small tinny or kayak.

We booked corner camp, there were no other campers in either of the other two sites, so we had the place to ourselves. Stayed for one night, toilet was maintained well. Nice and close to the river, just need to walk down the river bank from the campsite to get down to it. Very peaceful

Weekend Trip to 10 Acres on Congo

Lovely spot, not far from civilisation but feeling of remote. Very convenient and high quality fire pits set out. Only a few minutes from Moruya and some really nice beaches. Beautiful bird calls all around. Fully shaded. Ground on sites 1 and 2 was a bit sloped which is fine for us in our camper trailer which could level via chocks, but suggest swaggers and tenters might struggle to find perfectly flat ground. Site 4 looked good for that though...

3 nights at Sunset Point

Sunset Point was a beautiful and peaceful spot. We went here during Jan school Holidays away from the crowds. Although there were other campers in the distance we did not hear or see them. The sunsets were beautiful and the bush a peaceful setting close to grey fishing, beaches and towns to explore. Our dog loved jumping in the lake and there was plenty of fish in there. Sal is very welcoming and accommodating, such a great host. We will be back.
