Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

We are professional musicians and love to meeting people. Elphie used to own the iconic Nimbin Rox backpacker hostel, and although Soulhaven is only in its infancy, it still has a relaxed atmosphere. Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops. Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle. This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest. Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home! Our place is family friendly and we ask that you keep music and noise to a minimum after 10pm.

There is an an outdoor undercover space including a kitchenette area, BBQ, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, cutlery/crockery. Please note there is no oven or cooktop, only a BBQ. Important information: Linen not provided. In each dome there is a queen and king single bed. All linen needs to be bought with you. Pillows, towels, doona, bed linen & towels. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a "glamping" experience so insects and nature is a part of the experience. The dome tents are set on a concrete slab which is regularly sprayed however insects will still be around as the tents are set in the middle of the paddock so please be mindful of this. This property uses Solar Power (not connected to the grid) so please be aware of energy usage. All lights and general appliances are low energy and remain suitable for use over an extended sunless/cloudy period. If you drain the solar you will lose power and hot water. There are 2 portable fans inside the domes for hot days. To reduce the impact on hot days the small dome has a rooftop curtain that should remain closed along with the front window curtains to keep the domes cooler. Please be aware the driveway to the domes is not sealed. It is a gravel driveway. In the rain it may be slippery. If your car is not suitable for gravel inclines park at the top of the driveway. There is a farmhouse on the property. It is diagonally opposite at the end of a separate road and can be booked separately through airbnb. What a truly special place!! We loved the privacy, the views and how peaceful the lodge was!! The place has everything you need for a peaceful break away. We loved the horses who visited daily for the daily feed on the surrounding grassy area - very magical just watching them graze. Beth was a very responsive host, who was polite and friendly. We’d HIGHLY recommend the lodge for those wanting some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Our dog was also welcome and she really enjoyed the place too! Thank you Beth for allowing us to share such a wonderful place!

Weekend Trip to The Jewel of Caniaba

We spent the whole weekend at Aliki’s place. It was awesome. Quiet all the time. Sorrounded by native birds. The hot tub was pleasant. Aliki left coffee capsules for us. We took the hike down to the creek and was so nice. At night we light up the fire pit which was really comfy. We definitely recommend the place if you want to have a quiet weekend as a couple.

We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful, surrounded by nature and plenty of wildlife – birds, cows and even a kangaroo! And you can’t beat relaxing in the spa while taking in this amazing view. Aliki was a wonderful host and so accommodating. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the cabin that made us feel so welcome.

Awesome spot right on the river with easy access to boat ramps and surrounding towns. The Sharstle is the perfect set up for a fishing camp or for a family group to enjoy the local area.. Also Squiggles is a friendly host who's readily available if you need anything. We had a great time, thanks!

We had such lovely weekend staying at this beautiful cabin. Being so close with animal was amazing, our daughter had the best weekend playing with the kids and little goats. Highly recommend especially if you have little ones. Would happily come back.

The tiny house is neatly fitted out to make your stay comfortable and peaceful .Adrian makes sure you have all you need and even took the kids to feed the cows. The dog thoroughly enjoyed the space as well.

7 nights at Petaurus Gardens

We had 2 families staying for over a week. Firstly, the roads have been resurfaced, you definitely dont need a 4wd to get in (my tesla was fine) When you turn onto the road, its about 100m down on the right and well signed. The wildlife was amazing, we even spotted owls. Chris provides just about everything you need, in the tent was bedding, light, fan, towels. The grounds include a kids play area, huge undercover spot for cooking (microwave, hot water, bbq) and eating (plenty of tables), toilets were clean, showers were wonderfully hot, and we had a fire pit for evening marshmallows. For a large group Id recommend bringing extra water, but couples or single family would be fine. Chris was attentive and someone popped by daily to see if we needed anything, they were also always available at the office when we called. We had so much fun on the kayaks, fishing, swimming in the river, its a magical spot. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting some time out, we could have stayed longer.

Mibanbah – Black Rocks campground

Amazing spot, very private and well maintained facilities. Huge drive thru sites for big rigs. Absolutely worth a visit if you like bush camping with the advantage of an absolutely gorgeous beach on your doorstep
