Great spot as a base to explore the Adelaide Hills. Even the trip into Adelaide city was easy from the farm. Deborah and Sam were very accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

It’s gorgeous! Lovely and peaceful, beautiful bushland, gorgeous views and a chestnut orchard to wander in. It feels very private and safe, but is still close to all you need. Highly recommend for a peaceful hills recharge. Thanks to Deb for having me and my elderly dog.

Magical Retreat? I’ll let you decide.
The four attached photos are the ‘views’ you get from the centre of the camp area - didn’t match the website photos at all and we felt we’d been misled.
Not exactly safe either as we had to pitch our tent directly under large trees and conditions were very windy - I was just waiting for a branch to land on us or our vehicle.
We’d booked for four nights, but only lasted one night.

Host was very friendly has given instructions on her farm. Would recommend this place to anyone. Quiet, lovely views. Farm offered a fireplace we couldn't use as for the wind. But was very lovely will come back here and would highly recommend to others. Thanks again deb for hosting us.

We really enjoyed our time at Deborah's camp-site. Such a beautiful place! Really enjoyed the wonderful birdlife especially the kookaburras. Hosts were amazing! Really helpful when we got into a bit of trouble. MANY THANKS.

We have visited Deborah's land a couple of times now and we always enjoy camping there. Very serene, and a great way to connect with nature. Can't wait to head back for another relaxing weekend! A good variety of spots accessible by car or caravan, if you have a more sporty car there are spots down a slope that are also very nice.

Great location for Hahndorf & Adelaide Hills. We were the only campers there so managed to have a relatively flat site for our tent. Lots of space and the chill in the air made it perfect for an open fire using the fire pit there.

Lovely spot however quite a tricky entrance for large vans, quiet undulating grounds hard to find a level spot, more suitable for small campers. Very close to Hahndorf great spot for exploring the region. Deborah was very hospitable and a great communicator

Deborah was very accommodating on short notice and the location to explore the area is good. Unfortunately other than that this is not worth the visit. A "magical retreat" is very far fetched. The unlevel ground makes it difficult to get a van level. Site had no veiw was next to a driveway, a road and houses. At $42 a night it's extremely overpriced.

Loved staying at Deborah's place for a second time. Took our camper trailer this time and we had the perfect spot with gorgeous views and so peaceful. Deborah is always so accomodating. We will be back to stay again in the future. Michelle

We enjoyed our stay despite bad weather. We did have to stay in a different paddock than anticipated but it was actually better protected from the weather. Bit tricky to find any flat area to level our camper trailer but we managed. Lovely area, very picturesque.

We had a lovely October long weekend stay at Adelaide Hills Magical Retreat with friends. Deborah was very helpful and responsive to our questions and so the booking and arranging our visit was nice and easy. The only thing we struggled with was finding flat ground, which was tricky for our friends who were in an RV with a slide out. Other than that, we had a great time and would recommend this as a great spot for a short getaway.

The only suitable campsites are very close to houses and a surprisingly busy road. The other site recommended was not easy to access with a camper trailer and not on flat ground. Having a drop toilet for guests would have been useful as the two flat sites are not very private. Getting up the access path would be challenging with a two wheel drive vehicle

Beautiful, private & quiet spot, perfect for a campfire in winter (we had the site at the top of the hill).
Deborah's communication was great and she popped by to say hello.
Due to heavy rainfall, the hill was a little muddy, we got up fine in our small non-off-road caravan, getting down was a little sketchy but fine - might have been an issue for a heavier caravan, something to keep in mind.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall 😊
