Welcome to our pup and permaculture paradise. — our little piece of the tropical hinterland, where life moves a little slower and there's always something growing. Set on five peaceful acres, our property offers 2 pet dedicated camping areas at the front with power and water, a space at the back near the horses pine forest and dam, a rainforest hidey hole giving you a comfortable base from which to explore everything the region has to offer. While you'll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle, you're only 10 minutes from Kuranda's Heritage Markets, Skyrail, the Scenic Railway, Barron Falls, the national parks, the Tablelands, and so much more—the list could go on! Davies creek, walking tracks and swimming holes all within minutes. Cairns a 40 min drive and kuranda just 10 mins away. Speewah has a local pup serving meals and a service station. Whether you're stopping by for a night or settling in for a few days, we hope you'll enjoy the fresh air, open space, and relaxed pace that make Speewah such a special place to call home. There are many local creeks (pet friendly) and walking tracks. I have farm fresh eggs for sale, timber for your fire pits and other home made goodies. I also offer cooking lesson from the produce I grow. Pls enquire.

Over looking the Dam and Pines Site 3.

The most private space on the block. Overlooking the dam and pine forest. Located at the rear of the property. You may have to share this space with the horses and chickens so keep your bread locked up!! Peaceful... I have over 60 fruit trees planted on the paddock that are very young so pls be mindful when driving follow the slash line directly past the stables. Fire pit and timber available- this is also fully dog fenced however have chickens free range so must be on a leash until the hens are locked up. Help yourself to the star fruit and black sapote in season.

Puppy Paradise - fully dog fenced camp yard

Set at the front of the paddock, this spacious grassy site offers plenty of room to relax and unwind. Our privacy trees are still growing, but in the meantime you'll enjoy an open outlook towards a beautiful pocket of rainforest and the sounds of nature that come with it. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet facilities. We offer power and water and the sites 1 & 2 are located in a fully fenced dog yard and you may have pets off leash when not sharing the space or in agreement with co campers. Pls pick up your dog poo and put around garden edging. There are 2 fire pits you can use when not in fire ban. There are bags of timber available from the camp store with an honesty box for $10. Perfectly positioned for exploring the region, you'll have easy access to national parks, state forests, local walking trails, mountain bike tracks, rivers for kayaking and fishing, and all the natural beauty Far North Queensland has to offer. Bordering the Atherton Tablelands, you're also within reach of wineries, cheese and chocolate makers, dairy farms and countless local attractions. From Kuranda's markets and Skyrail to Barron Falls and beyond, there's no shortage of things to see and do during your stay. There are ample dog walking tracks and off leash spaces. I can supply a map with "local" spots well worth the visit. There is a swimming spot for the pups 1k down the road. Davies Creek swimming hole for campers and their pups and a local secret swimming spot close by.

Rainforest Camp Site No. 4

A rainforest hidey hole for campers looking for the bird song and plenty of shade. This is a strictly no dog zone. I have tumeric ginger curry leaf blue pea flower and tulsi located in the perma patch close by. Please let me know if you'd like some. I also have a farm sale shed with organic produce fire wood and condiments with an honesty box. Pls be advised the property has security cameras.
