We loved tent camping in Wollombi. A great location and the local tavern was an excellent spot for food and drinks and a great atmosphere.

Behind The Old Pub House Wollombi
We had a lovely one night here for Good Friday. Michael popped over to say g’day very friendly. Definitely great if you don’t feel like doing the whole cooking thing. We had lunch at the cafe up the road and then an early dinner at the Tavern. The Tavern had live music which was great and just a ramble across the grass back to camp. Bonus for us with the family was the early license finish on Good Friday meaning that we got a good night sleep. 😄 There is a playground across the street and bathrooms as well. We enjoyed our short visit to Wollombi and would definitely return

Behind The Old Pub House Wollombi
Had place to ourselves nice tree to camp next to is a little hilly in places for camper trailers but as we had place to ourselves had pick of anywhere so had a couple of flater spots to pick from. Nice and close to Wollombi Pub and clean toilets across the road was a nice bonus. Would camp there again.
