Peaceful hideaway
Was a lovely space to keep our campervan, our favourite moment was seeing the sunrise and kangaroos around our van in the morning. A very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Will definitely be back to Peaceful Hideaway. Lupe was really helpful with giving advice on things to do in the area. The campsite was tucked away amongst beautiful trees, surrounded by nature. Clean amenities and drinking water close by.

Beautiful areas with plenty of separation between sites. Close to a few of the local hot spots. Super friendly hosts who made sure we had a great stay. Would definitely return

My partner and I loved our stay at Peaceful Hideaway! They were fantastic hosts and really accommodating. We will definitely be returning in the future :)

It’s a beautiful property complete with kangaroos, ducks and all sorts of wildlife. Lupe and Ben are brilliant and generous hosts who went to great lengths to ensure our stay was a great one. We’ll be back whenever we come back this way.

I had a perfect experience tent camping here! Lupe, the host, was so nice and made my stay very relaxed and comfortable. The kangaroos visiting at sunset and grazing in the morning was so cool to see. All in all I had a great time and can only recommend camping here.

Host could not have been more accommodating, helpful, and friendly, despite our last-minute booking & the bad weather. We woke up to a beautiful view of the sun rising through the trees & kangaroos grazing on the lawn. Loved it !

Wonderful atmosphere! Lots of room in this lovely area. Wood provided for campfires, portable toilet was well kept. Some peaceful wildlife around the area. Friendly host, would highly recommend!

Great place to stay! Level, grassed sites at the rear of Barry's property in a lightly wooded area. Away from the house and other sites for privacy. Very quite.
Met by Barry on arrival and he showed me the sites available and pointed out the water, toilet, firewood and shower that can connect to a cars cigarette lighter to heat up. Apart from that no interaction until I said goodbye.

The amenities were top notch. The toilet was a feat of engineering and we had a lovely outdoor shower splashing around in the hose. The trees and space on the property provided lovely privacy making our stay a peaceful rejuvenating stop on a road trip up the east coast. Barry was really helpful - finding the property, check in, check out was all a breeze. I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

Barry’s place is beautiful, and he is an absolute legend—super friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful, with a great outdoor area just a short distance from Maclean town. The campground has a bonfire pit surrounded by trees, perfect for stargazing. There are also toilet facilities and a mobile shower. In the mornings, the area is full of kangaroos. Barry welcomed us warmly and even joined us on the second night with snacks, a bottle of wine, and his guitar. I would highly recommend this place

My partner and I had a lovely three nights on Barry’s property. The land was beautiful and comfortable to camp on. There was plenty of space between sites. Barry provides firewood and fireplaces. The location is perfect if you’d like to explore Yamba and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again.

Barry is a legend! The place was just us and some roos and kookaburras laughing in the morning 😊 nice area and neighbourhood with good biking 🚴🏻 paths
