Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

All tents, caravans and motor homes for the space are the same fee. You will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. Absolutely fantastic campsite and facilities and the hosts were lovely. Can’t say enough positive things about the place and would recommend it to anyone. If you like birding and/or astrophotography (the main reasons we were in the region) then this place is perfect for you! They made an effort to spread everyone out over their land so that you felt you have privacy, there were fire pits and free wood to use, 4 shower/toilet cubicles and 2 additional toilets, a shop that opened during the day and powered sites available. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! All photos attached taken from where we camped!

Tim is a super-duper host who works really hard to make sure everyone is well looked after. It’s a great site, beautifully located on a lovely lavender farm. Having the shop on-site was really handy, with delicious scones, coffee and a great range of lavender products. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This is a lovely spot with plenty of space. It’s quiet even with other campers around. You get a nice view of the sun setting over the hills. Tim was very welcoming and laid back.

It is an amazing view either in the morning with the lavender farm or at night with the starts on the sky. Free firewood is provided. Host is amazing and responds so quickly. Toilet and shower area are very tidy and clean. Highly recommended for new campers.

Aloomba Lavender Farm is always such a lovely place to stay. The property is beautifully maintained — very clean, neat and orderly, with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The staff are genuinely friendly, helpful and welcoming, with that wonderful old Aussie charm that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. You can really feel the personal touch of a family-owned and family-managed property. There is a warmth and care here that you simply don’t get at large, commercial accommodation facilities. I have always enjoyed my time at Aloomba Lavender Farm, and it is the kind of place where you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just another customer. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, excellent presentation and genuine hospitality makes it a place I am always happy to return to. I will definitely stay here again as soon as I get the opportunity. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept place with genuine country hospitality and a wonderful human touch.

Beautiful space, really enjoyed my time here. Showers were hot and like new. Not far into Stanthorpe, hiking spots, Christmas Farm and of course the lavender farm. Highly recommend this Hipcamp. It's a shame I only had 3 days here, but off to Girraween next!

This is my third time. The weather was perfect, very clean facilities, spacious area, beautiful views and a warm welcome from ‘Watto’ who consistently checked on us! We can’t wait until we come back again!

We loved our stay at Aloomba! Being on a working cattle farm was a great experience! Meeting Watto and Max, the dogs, and watching Tim feeding the cattle in the mornings, seeing the cattle running after his buggy while he sounded the horn was a lot of fun. The showers and toilets were really clean and we enjoyed our coffee at the Cafe. Tim helped us out when we had to take our car to a local mechanic and was really generous offering us anything we needed. A great guy! We would definitely recommend Aloomba as a lovely, peaceful stopover near Stanthorpe. The stars at night are also amazing ❤️

I am hesitant to share this spot because it was so good. Tim was a wonderful host, the voracious cows were hilarious (think of having 100 kids yelling at you at feed time!) + the location was fantastic.
