Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

Staying here was a wonderful experience! Tim really went above and beyond to help us feel welcome and comfortable. The site has lots of space with plenty of nature near-by, and the amenities were great, very clean. Such a beautiful spot too - we were lucky enough to have an amazing sunset. I will definitely recommend Aloomba Lavender to my family and friends. Thanks again, Tim, for an excellent stay! We'll see you again another time.

We had a great stay at Tim’s place. Loved his dogs and cows! Plenty of firewood and good clean hot showers. Will definitely return when travelling through the area.

Tim is the type of host to give the shirt off his back to his guests! Would highly recommend Aloomba Lavender to anyone. We arrived later than expected but Tim was there to greet us, show us where to park and set up and arrived with firewood and a genuine interest in our plans for the next few days while in Liston. The amenities are clean, looked after and easy to access. Beautiful views and amazing sunsets. Will defs be returning to see the lavender in full bloom. Thanks again guys!

Camping at Aloomba Lavender Farm was one of the most peaceful experiences we’ve had. Waking up to the sunshine, watching the beautiful black cattle grazing in the fields, and breathing in the fresh country air made us slow down and truly enjoy the moment. The Café Shop was filled with the soothing scent of lavender, and I already miss their delicious lavender scones—they were absolutely unforgettable. What made this place even more special was learning about the history of the farm. Meeting Edi and hearing the stories of Peter and Kerry, the former owners, gave us a deeper appreciation of Aloomba. Their love, dedication, and vision still seem to live on throughout the property, making it feel like a farm built on love and cherished memories. The current owner, Tim, is incredibly kind, approachable, and genuinely cares about his guests. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble—if you needed something, he would always do his best to help. That level of hospitality made us feel less like visitors and more like part of the farm. We also loved chatting with Sheryl whenever we saw her. Every conversation felt warm and effortless. What surprised us most was running into her at a supermarket several kilometres away from the farm. She recognised us straight away, greeted us with a big smile, and even asked whether we were settling in and enjoying our stay. It was such a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflects the genuine care of everyone at Aloomba.

We took our 20ft van and had a relaxing time. Good clean amenities. Plenty of firewood available. Surrounded by lush green grass & cows. Visiting in winter, the lavender was underwhelming, and we have since discovered, that a good portion of the lavender has now been removed to focus more of camping.

Third time we've camped here and once again didn't disappoint. Beautiful spot overlooking lavender and paddocks with visits from the cows. Plenty of space and even though we were one of three groups you felt as though you are on your own. Sky at night is amazing. Amenities are modern and spotless with nice hot water and good pressure. There is a farm shop open Thu - Mon with coffee available as well as their own lavender products. Tim stopped by for a chat and is a really friendly bloke. Only 20 mins from Stanthorpe with plenty to see and do in the region or just unwind and enjoy the views of the campsite.

We camped at the property for 2 x nights with our dogs. Very quiet camping spot and not over crowded. It was amazing, the view of the animals, sunrises and sunsets. Loved the visits from the farm dog, he is super friendly. There is lots to activities to do close by such as wineries and visiting the apple farm!

I was lucky to be able to go on this property , That Tim Shares with people who love the outdoors, and I was so impressed with the all the work they have put into Gods country, I'm lucky to be able to appreciate the country.And my American Staffordshire x Collie, also was in love with the feel of this Farm I could tell she misses the country after we got there.

If you are looking for serenity and rolling hills with beautiful sunrises and sunsets - this is the spot. I had no expectations, but nicely surprised. We were the only people at that time, which made it even more special stay. We used new showers on the farm with hot water, which were about 100m away from our campsite.

Great spot - close to Stanthorpe and all the attractions (wineries and breweries). Fantastic host and facilities were clean and close by. Good for solar for those that need it. Highly recommend.

The place was stunning, but I had to cut my stay short as I wasn’t prepared for the cold wind. With no camp kitchen at the farm and sleeping in my car, it was difficult to cook or spend much time outdoors, which is absolutely not the host’s fault. I did really appreciate the hot shower, the bathrooms were clean, and I enjoyed a nice coffee at the shop in the morning, along with the company of the friendly black cat that hangs around.

Spent 3 nights and really enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful spot to just chill out, but is also very well placed for trips to Girraween and Bald Rock National Parks. As others have also said, the toilets and showers are very good.
