Millingandi Station is nestled between the coastal holiday hamlets of Pambula and Merimbula. This unique tidal waterfront acreage has flat open grassy spaces, sealed road access and is within a few easy kilometres of all the amenities, shops and beaches these villages have to offer. Conveniently located on the Princes highway, we are a short drive to beautiful beaches, and grocery and supply stores. Explore Pambula village's boutique shops, eateries and micro brewery. Discover the history of nearby Eden, Boydtown and Greencape Lighthouse. Explore the farm on foot or launch a kayak, canoe or SUP in the tidal creek, direct access from the property, and explore the beautiful Merimbula lake. We offer fire-braziers for those who do not have their own, firewood available by the bundle for purchase. Pets on leashes welcome. This is a working farm so please ensure you close gates when you pass through them. Our property has two listings to choose from, Paddock sites(powered and unpowered) are located approximately 250 metres from the river (accessible on foot or by car), paddock campers are welcome to access the river for fishing, swimming etc "Pelicans rest" campsites are by booking only, spots are limited. Lagoon view is a small cabin located on Millingandi station, overlooking the lagoon, lower lying paddock and towards the river. The only cabin on the property, it stands alone, a short distance away from the campers in the Paddock. Keeping in the theme of camping,(just a wee bit fancier) the cabin is a one room, weatherproof option for those who prefer a bed off the ground. No bathroom attached, you have the option of bringing a portable shower and camp toilet(dump point onsite) or using the waterless composting loo a short walk away. THERE IS NO BATHROOM IN THE CABIN. The cabin has power and town(drinkable) water available. In the cabin you will find a queen sized bed(linen supplied) and fridge, BBQ on the deck, basic dining items(kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery etc) and a portable wash basin. Enjoy the recently renovated deck and the farm views, a short walk to the river to throw a line in or take your kayak into Merimbula lake.

We originally booked the paddock but changed to riverside and happy we did. Milingandi station is perfect. I loved the creek and the fresh herbs from Jodie’s vege patch. A very special touch. Only wish I could have stayed longer ! Hope to come back.

Lovely flat grassed open area , some with power for extra $, water taps everywhere to fill your tanks but no hooking on. Dump point which is super handy , Hosts Jodie and Brett are lovely people with $15 oysters delivered to your camp . Very close to Merimbula and Pambula for your daytime activities and site seeing. Totally recommend.

Great spot nice and easy to locate we stayed for 1 night in our way through and was perfect for what we needed close to Bega, and Pambula where we visited the brewery, Waratah chocolate shop . Thanks for a lovely stay.

Quick google late one night on our trip home and we found this little gem to pull into. Jodie was super responsive and directions were clear and easy to follow. It was right off the highway with plenty of room to set up and relax. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 4 nights in OCT25. We found the station very pleasant. Nice big spots very open spaces. Great location to access beaches and lookouts. We seen plenty of whales and dolphins on our trip. Everything was as described in their description: Easy access to power/water and dump point on-site. Toilets were not the worst We have come across for a compost toilet, pet friendly & fishing in the lake. There was some road noise but nothing unbearable.

Our time at Pelicans Rest was absolutely delightful! It was everything we needed and provided for a very relaxing peaceful time. Quiet, close to town, clean, great views, terrific bird life and a comfy bed. Couldn’t have asked for more!

We loved our time at Millingandi Station! Originally we had booked site 3 (with power and water), but asked to move ‘Riverside’ (no power or water, but great view). Jodie was more than happy to assist with this request. We ordered the farm eggs $10 (fabulous multi-coloured) and a crate of wood $25 (a bit light on for the price) and stayed two nights. We would definitely stay again!!

Fantastic spot, close enough to town for convenience but far enough out to feel peaceful and private. Sites are nicely spaced so you’re not packed in, and there’s firewood, power and drinking water available. The drop toilet was spotless, and the fresh veggies from the garden were a lovely touch – the lettuce was perfect for our locally caught fish tacos! Our dog Penny absolutely loved it too. Next time we’ll be set up for off-grid so we can stay down by the river. Thanks for having us, Jodie!

Large sites. Sites with power and water in the middle of paddock, unpowered around the outsides. Eco toilets clean with no 'aromas'. Town water. Short easy drive to everything. A well maintained, no frills campsite with the basics covered. We look forward to our next stay.

Riverside
Great flat spot close to the river with running water taps nearby. The drop toilets are closer to the top sites but are very well maintained. Riverside ( no number ) has no shade but 1 and 3 do, so choose accordingly. The river is filled with small fish and lots of birdlife is nearby. Across the river is bushland so a nice outlook overall.

The booking said there were only 2 sites left and those were in The Paddock. There were 3 other campers there overnight and about 17 sites so that didn’t make sense. There was no one camped by the river and I would have chosen that option had I known as it offered more shelter. The paddock itself was very exposed and near the highway. I had trouble finding the toilet too as it wasn’t sign posted at all and I thought at first that it was at a cabin that was on site. It wasn’t. On the plus side, being able to use some of the veges being grown there was very generous.
