Freedom Farmstay - simple, back to nature camping for FULLY self-contained travellers. CHILDREN are always FREE... We consider children to be 17 and under, if booking with teens, please list them in the 'children' section of the booking form. Quiet location on acreage in rural Baldivis (within the Perth metro area). We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah. We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group. You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET. There is NO power available. Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait several hours. Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times. Sites 1 and 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. Could fit 3 families if you're with a group. Private site for your family/group only. Site 3 (Families WITH children): Large area that can take all size vehicles including big rigs and full size buses. Could easily accommodate a dozen or so families if you have a big group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families. If you wish to book for a group, book as early as possible. Huge access gap into paddock, approx 15mtrs wide. Site 4: For any sized vehicles. Suitable for up to 3-4 families if camping with a group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families. Important NOTE: This is a WORKING hobby farm and equine property. There are tyres and poles. sand piles, fencing projects underway, etc etc. There are also many free roaming animals - my dog, our chooks, sheep and alpaca.. along with the usually contained horses. If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you. There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year, according to their seasons, varying growth stages of grasses (long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather (high winds, high temps, storms) on occassion - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property... If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm / equine property and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. Toodyay is just 5kms down the road where you can find all the necessities; fuel, groceries, 2 pubs, cafes, best bakery in Perth (in my opinion), great walks and great views . The camping will be on either paddock the sheep aren't, both are easily accessible by all vehicles, caravans and trailers. Please note the following: There are animals on site. We also have our native species - Grass Trees, Zamia Palm and Golden Wattle . We also have fruit trees, chooks and a vegetable garden. BUSH STAY ACCOMMODATION is available and we have Two cabins. The Music Room Cabin for two people, and the Olivia Cabin which will accommodate up to four people. Both have TV,DVD, aircon, fridge, toaster, kettle and cutlery, plates etc. We also have a large comfortable Tent to accommodate up to four people. Set up for the real bush experience. TV, DVD ,table and chairs .Beds and mattresses,sheets ,blankets, pillows, and doonas can be provided or bring your own. Hear all the sounds of the bush at night! Check out the stars planets and the moon. The sky is so clear out here. Caravans/Camper trailers are also welcome. One Powered site available. A toilet, shower and Barbeque facilities are available and our Fire Pit is ok to use in Winter and share some toasted Marshmallows. Local attractions include: Toodyay Emu Park, Archery Park, Avon Valley National Park and the Avon River, Paruna and Karakamia Wildlife Sanctuaries, Toodyay Townsite - Connors Mill,The Old Gaol and many other historical sites ,shops and restaurants. The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce. Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. Alternatively, at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available. Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire. We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

The camping will be on either paddock the sheep aren't, both are easily accessible by all vehicles, caravans and trailers. Please note the following: There are animals on site. Pets allowed but must be on lead. You must be self-sufficient, bring your own toilet and water, leave no trace when you go. Fires permitted in winter months only. Freedom Farmstay - simple, back to nature camping for FULLY self-contained travellers. CHILDREN are always FREE... We consider children to be 17 and under, if booking with teens, please list them in the 'children' section of the booking form. Quiet location on acreage in rural Baldivis (within the Perth metro area). We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah. We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group. You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET. There is NO power available. Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait several hours. Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times. Sites 1 and 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. Could fit 3 families if you're with a group. Private site for your family/group only. Site 3 (Families WITH children): Large area that can take all size vehicles including big rigs and full size buses. Could easily accommodate a dozen or so families if you have a big group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families. If you wish to book for a group, book as early as possible. Huge access gap into paddock, approx 15mtrs wide. Site 4: For any sized vehicles. Suitable for up to 3-4 families if camping with a group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families. This is not currently available on hipcamp, but if you'd like to stay a week, please just book for 6nights and then send me a message saying you'd like to stay the free 7th night. Important NOTE: This is a WORKING hobby farm and equine property. There are tyres and poles. sand piles, fencing projects underway, etc etc. There are also many free roaming animals - my dog, our chooks, sheep and alpaca.. along with the usually contained horses. If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you. There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year, according to their seasons, varying growth stages of grasses (long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather (high winds, high temps, storms) on occassion - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property... If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm / equine property and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)

Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group.
