Avonbrook Creekside Site 1
We had a great overnight stay
Our first time using hipcamp and first off grid camp site.
Loved the peace and quiet ,
We stayed at site 1 , just enough room for small van with awning but loved the running water in the creek right Infront of us. We saw blue rens and kookaburras and the stars at night were amazing.
Would definitely love to come back in spring and other cooler months..
Sarah was amazing at communicating and returning messages promptly.

Avonbrook Creekside Site 1
Nice relaxing spot
Great spot , nice and peaceful, would be a perfect spot in the winter with a campfire under the stars . The night sky is amazing here.
Probably would advise to bring ant powder as there were alot of them at my camping spot (site 1)
Site 1 is more suitable for a small set up where as site A and site 2 have much more room .
You can hear the running water from the brook at night which is nice and relaxing.
A great place to come and unwind fit a night or two đ

As described, a nice, cosy and clean place. Highly recommended!
Site 2 is indeed the biggest, would accomodate more than 2 cars and tentes.
Sites A and 1 looks smaller though.

Avonbrook Creekside Site 1
Great communication from host Sarah, and clear directions to our site. Cows and horses on the property, and camp sites are a good distance away from the main house, and evenly spaced for plenty of privacy - although we had the entire place to ourselves. Strange that we did hear some really loud music late at night, but couldn't quite get my bearings as to where it was coming from, since there were no other campers in the vicinity, and it woke me twice which took away from the serenity of an otherwise very peaceful Hipcamp - with just the trickle of the stream to fall asleep to. The water level was quite low, and creekside fairly muddy and overgrown, but was still nice to be by the water during the day, overlooking the paddocks and listening to the birds.. just perfect (take plenty bug repellent and fly nets for the flies and mossies).
There was just enough room for our small camper trailer, car and 3x3m gazebo - to give an idea of space, as the main track runs parallel to the site - although the host did mention that we could camp on the other side, away from the creek, so that's always an option if more space was needed.
Will be a great spot to return to in winter as each site had a designated fire pit area, and would be lovely to see the property looking green, with more water in the creek. We'll definitely be back đ thanks for having us Sarah!
