🔥 campfires as per shire rules are allowed between April 30th and October 1st 🔥 Thanks all Our family moved to Toodyay 7 years ago after spending 8 years in Kalgoorlie, we dreamt of space to keep animals and raise our children. Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Nigerian Dwarf x goats. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. It is recommended that only 4 Wheel drives for access and a high clearance caravan/trailer. We have 5 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them, on the left beside the creek, and Site 1 next then site 2, sites 3 and 4 are paddock side on the right. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Hope you enjoy your stay on our land. Proceeds go back into feeding livestock and the maintenance of our farm. We appreciate it so much as an exchange of services and an amazing contribution towards raising our family thankyou Please no camp-fires during shire restricted periods of 1st Oct till 30 Apr thanks

A fairly small area next to a small creek available to pitch a tent, park a motor home or small camper trailer or caravan. Surface is not completely flat and a bit rocky. 4 wheel drives are needed during winter months. Our Shire has a fire ban from 1st October till 30th Apr The track is very bumpy, rocky, washouts at points and definitely an off road experience, not suitable for low or long caravans due to terrain Short stays only. I have livestock around so no dogs that would attack or chase.  Beautiful hills and surrounds of Toodyay, in the wheatbelt Western Australia, an hour from Perth.  Need to be self contained. No toilets or power, you must bring your own and leave no trace. Please leave as you found no rubbish etc. Thanks

Small fairly flat area, suitable for a swag, tent or trailer tent to reverse in or small campervan Beside the creek. Peaceful camp-fire area. A 4wd is required during wet weather. Not suitable for low or long caravans. Track is hilly, rocky and a bit washed out in areas. Decent distance from the other campsites, reasonably private and quiet. Our shire fire ban runs from 1st October till 30th Apr So campfires between then please. Thanks

We had a lovely stay here, peaceful spot with the peaceful sound of the creek. Theres a spot for a campfire and a bench for sitting. We got a beautiful view of the stars ✨and welcomed in and out by the cows and goats. Would definitely recommend staying here

Nice and close from Perth but felt miles away. Very neat campsites. Closer together than I expected but didn’t hear the other campers. So nice hearing the cows moo’ing away in the mornings. Track in a little bumpy in places - especially if you towing a camper and navigating through the gates was a challenge for first time tower! Loved it and will be back.

Was an awesome spot for the long weekend. Very spacious site. Was perfect for relaxing by the creek with a campfire. Most of the sites were booked however was still quiet and peaceful!

Absolutely loved our getaway to Avon Brook Creek. Stunning little spot on the Creek. Birds chirping and the sound of running water. Very near to the quaint little town of Toodyay. Will definitely be back. Thanks Sarah for hosting us.

We loved the serenity and location. Not so far away from the city, but feels like you went down south or up north on a road trip (as we would always do). We were supposed to travel to Esperance, but had to cancel as we wouldn’t want to risk getting stranded in case petrol stations run out of diesel. Nevertheless, we didn’t regret the decision as this camping site is amazing. We liked the fact that the owners leaves you to enjoy the property. It’s also a clean camping site and very quiet. While there are other campers around, it’s sufficiently spaced out to have enough privacy. Also, there’s reception so I was still able to submit my uni assessments. We would definitely be back!

Had a lovely Easter break at Avonbrook, creekside camp 1. Woke up to the tinkling stream and birdsong. Very secure through 2 gates to keep the animals out, beware the protective bull, we had a moment🐃. Definately 4x4 access only, and make sure belongings in caravans are secured!! Take ant spray as 2 nests in this location, we knew this and were well prepared. Close to Toodyay, Northam, Spencers Brook, Hoddywell Archery amongst others. Thanks Sarah!

What a great little site, was very quite and even though there was other campers near us, was not an issue. Would love to return in winter to have a fire and the creek to be flowing. Was close enough to pop into town and close to Julimar State Forrest if you want to 4 wheel drive.

Absolutely loved Sarah’s little piece of paradise, so peaceful, pictures are exactly what it looks like. At night it was so dark the stars looked within reach, just perfect for what we were looking for! We had Creekside 2 site, it was huge, 21 ft van and had plenty of room to enjoy. Very nice weekend getaway and not too far from Perth. Directions were on point and the campsite was great, lots of trees for shade and a nice creek flowing through the property. Will definitely be returning. Also Toodyay is a great little town to experience. And only a few k’s from camp.

We loved it here. There was plenty of room to explore and not too close to anyone else. Our dogs were living their best life here. It was so peaceful and quiet. We stayed for 3 nights, but could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend a stay here.

What a tranquil little get away! I was in love with this creek side little camp, falling asleep and waking up to the sound of flowing water. Views across the green pastures with cows and sheep in the distance. I highly recommend if you love getting away for a complete reset in peace and serenity. I have already booked to come back before the summer hits!

Had a good time at Site 4. Lots of Firewood to collect, and lovely views from the top of the hill. Site 4 is a bit sloped, so be prepared to do some levelling if required.

Great weekend away at Avonbrook Wheatbelt. Farm was lovely and green and Campsite 2 was spacious and flat positioned right beside the creek - loved the sound of the water flowing. Just a short drive out of Toodyay. Highly recommend.

Awesome weekend away camping next to the brook. Lots of wild flowers and nice view. Far enough off the road and a muddy track with some friendly cows and horses made it more enjoyable.
