Camp up in our bushland, with beautiful views of farmland. Enjoy sitting by the campfire, going on a bushwalk or riding your bicycle around the paddocks on dirt tracks. In the spring, there will be beautiful wildflowers to see, in the winter you will be able to walk through our creeks. TO BRING Please be self-contained with water and rubbish, however we do have Sheoak and Jam tree logs that you can collect for firewood and a compost toilet. Also please bring insect repellent, the spring can coincide with lots of mosquitos and flies. If you would like to bring your own firewood, you can buy some at the Bindoon roadhouse on the way. If you need access to drinking water and waste removal, there are facilities available at nearby caravan parks, such as Goomalling or Wongan Hills. We also provide non-potable water near the compost toilet for you to use for showers. ARRIVAL We are located in between Goomalling and Calingiri. Qualin farm sign in angled towards the Goomalling side, so could be difficult to see if driving from Calingiri. Drive slowly on approach of the driveway entry, as it on a corner. At the end of the driveway we have an information board to assist you in finding your spot as well as signs. If you need any help and would like to be welcomed to your spot, please let us know. PHONE RECEPTION During your drive, there can be limited phone reception, however, all campsites have some reception from most phone providers. If you do not have reception at the end of the driveway and need assistance, simply drive up the gravel road to the top of the hill (a right turn from the shed). THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Bindoon bakehouse or Toodyay bakery are great places to stop for a snack or lunch on your drive from Perth. Both locations are approximately 1 hour from our farm. Bindoon also has established free mountain biking trails. New Norcia is an interesting historical town with museums, galleries and tours. It is a 40 minute drive from our farm. Goomalling has a lovely coffee shop called Lot 39 store and cafe. It is open weekdays and the bakery is open weekends. In our bush camp we have four sites that are within walking distance to our compost toilet. Sites 1-3 are a short 50-100m walk, whereas site 5 is a 300-400m walk to the toilet. Please let us know your approximate time of arrival on the day. If we are unavailable to welcome you to the spot, we will provide detailed description of how to get there. We also have signs to assist. Also would be great if you tell us your vehicle type and preference for a site beforehand - - Close to compost toilet - 300-400m walk from toilet (more secluded from other guests).

Site 7 is a secluded site that does not have walking access to a toilet. It has beautiful wildflowers in the spring, a large fire pit and beautiful views. This site has a small access track, we recommend 4WD (and not large caravans).

We have a designated spot (site 6) for campers with their own toilet facilities. This site is more secluded and has wonderful views. If this site is already booked, we can find alternative sites for you around the property, depending on your vehicle. We will let you know when you book if this will be the case.

A spacious bell tent that can comfortably fit four people, located in bushland with views of farm paddocks and hills. The tent is partially furnished, however, please bring your own camping mattress and bedding. A double air mattress and bedding can be provided at request as an 'extra'. This tent is a short walking distance to the shared compost toilet. It is located at site 4. If travelling with others, there is plenty of space at the site to fit 2-3 more tents.

Beautiful place to camp! We had a lovely view in Site 7. The wildflowers were amazing too. Please note the mozzies were out in force during our stay! We managed them with repellent and coils.

We had a lovely few days at Alix’s beautiful property. We camped at site 5 which has a little more seclusion. Our high vantage point provided the most amazing views of surrounding fields and sunrises and was an easy few minutes walk to the very clean toilet. Our hosts were lovely and our stay was just perfect! We could not have asked for a better spot to base ourselves while exploring the towns in the area. This was our first HipCamp experience and will be very hard to beat. Thank you Alix. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I (& 2 dogs) stayed at Qualin Farm bush camp on a lovely secluded site with stunning views. Alix meet us on arrival and everything was exactly as advertised - with New Norcia a short drive away as well. We will certainly visit again.

Loved camping at Qualin on Alix’s land. There was plenty of space between campsites. Pleasant evenings around our family campfire and loads of space for the kids and dogs to run and play. Perfect spot. Take plenty of mosquito spray.

Alix is a lovely host, very easy going and friendly. This is the second time we have stayed at this site and we love it, isolated, private, and quiet which is just what we like. Just ensure you have mosquito repellent if there is long grass about but they are easily managed if you do. Another lovely stay on a beautiful property.

Enjoyed our two nights at Qualin Farm which was quiet and peaceful. The sites were easily accessible with our 13ft Hybrid and views were spectacular. The drop toilet was a short walk from our site which was very convenient. We were in site one which was a little bit wet however a great fire pit so it is a great site if there is a group. There is plenty of firewood laying around and we were able to have a great fire each of the nights. Although we did not meet Alix her parents were there and were very welcoming. The farm enterance is approximately 22 kms north of Goomalling. An enjoyable break.

We had a fantastic stay in our own private and very spacious tent. Driving in, the fields of wildflowers and blooming canola made for such a beautiful arrival, and the view from the tent was absolutely stunning. Falling asleep by the glow of the campfire with the moon shining through the window was truly unforgettable. We were also lucky enough to enjoy a farm tour where we spotted sheep, wild kangaroos, and even wedge-tailed eagles – such a highlight! The amenities were spotless and conveniently located near the tent, and the directions to the farm were clear and easy to follow. We’d highly recommend a stay here at any time of year

The directions provided were clear and made the property very easy to find. The campsite itself is a beautiful open space with stunning views and plenty of room to relax and unwind. It was peaceful and quiet throughout our stay, which made it feel like a real escape. The camp hosts were friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was well looked after. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future—highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great camping experience.

Our stay was truly amazing! The view was spectacular in the canola season. Alix was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a short tour of the farm, which was a lovely touch. Everything about the place was peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly organized. We would absolutely come back

Lovely private, spacious site with a gorgeous view. Hillside but plenty of flatter bits and nothing a levelling ramp couldn’t fix. A gem of a spot. Quick easy communication, sites clearly marked.

Loved the stay. Great outlook over the bush and farming land. Good distance between camp sites , so don’t interfere with other campers. Nice clean compost toilet. Also able to take our small dog. Thank you for offering your land for us to stay on and enjoy also.

Second time camping on Alix's farm and was just as good as the first! We pushed back our date due to bad weather and Alix was great in changing our dates. Will be back for a third visit before long!

My partner and I really enjoyed our farm stay in our Swag with our dog! Alix was awesome with her communication and directions were easy to follow. The camp site we stayed on near the toilet was so peaceful, and the campfire was lovely! I would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time, peaceful and the dogs had a great time sniffing around. Only thing I can say is camp 6 needs to have a few level places made there as in a 22 foot van there were none and we ad to seriously jackup one side. Apart from that perfect

What an amazing place! Secluded sites with views over the valley, big sites with plenty of options where to set up, large established fireplace for your enjoyment, easy access and close by to towns and random pubs to visit if you want too. Amazing communication from Alix, what a wonderful host. We had a great time and highly recommend!
