Fantastic spot with a stunning view. Alix’s communication was great and we felt very welcome. It was a perfect spot for the dogs with no one around and no roos! There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. Qualin Farm bush camp

Camp up in our bushland, with beautiful views of farmland. Enjoy sitting by the campfire, going on a bushwalk or riding your bicycle around the paddocks on dirt tracks. In the spring, there will be beautiful wildflowers to see, in the winter you will be able to walk through our creeks. TO BRING Please be self-contained with water and rubbish, however we do have Sheoak and Jam tree logs that you can collect for firewood and a compost toilet. Also please bring insect repellent, the spring can coincide with lots of mosquitos and flies. If you would like to bring your own firewood, you can buy some at the Bindoon roadhouse on the way. If you need access to drinking water and waste removal, there are facilities available at nearby caravan parks, such as Goomalling or Wongan Hills. We also provide non-potable water near the compost toilet for you to use for showers. ARRIVAL We are located in between Goomalling and Calingiri. Qualin farm sign in angled towards the Goomalling side, so could be difficult to see if driving from Calingiri. Drive slowly on approach of the driveway entry, as it on a corner. At the end of the driveway we have an information board to assist you in finding your spot as well as signs. If you need any help and would like to be welcomed to your spot, please let us know. PHONE RECEPTION During your drive, there can be limited phone reception, however, all campsites have some reception from most phone providers. If you do not have reception at the end of the driveway and need assistance, simply drive up the gravel road to the top of the hill (a right turn from the shed). THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Bindoon bakehouse or Toodyay bakery are great places to stop for a snack or lunch on your drive from Perth. Both locations are approximately 1 hour from our farm. Bindoon also has established free mountain biking trails. New Norcia is an interesting historical town with museums, galleries and tours. It is a 40 minute drive from our farm. Goomalling has a lovely coffee shop called Lot 39 store and cafe. It is open weekdays and the bakery is open weekends. Deepdene Farmstay Camping

Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and café. Our campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something. We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit. Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!

Nannup Lavender Tranquil Campground

Situated in the centre of the south west between Margaret River and Pemberton, our farm is a great base to experience the best of this wonderful area. Surrounded by forests and farmland, central to the Munda Biddi Bike trail - you can drink in nature! Harmony Retreat

Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens, a mischievous mini pig named Peppa (who loves pats), sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. Older children will need to be supervised. Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times. There are no cooking facilities available for guests at present (this could change in the next couple of months as Troy is notorious for making stuff happen lol... so when it does we'll update the information). Therefore you will need to be completely self-sufficient including washing up bucket, cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). Wave Rock Short Stay

The Camp - Wave Rock Short Stay is located 2 km from the Hyden town site and 2 km from Wave Rock. Both locations are easily accessible by car or by using the walking/cycling trail. To access the walking trail please head back to Aylmore Road, turn right and when you reach the intersection cross the highway to meet the walking/cycling trail. Left will take you to town and right to Wave Rock. Please be mindful that our property neighbours a working sheep and cropping farm. Wave Rock is a granite cliff 15 metres high and 110 metres long. It’s rounded-like shape has been caused by weathering and water erosion which has undercut the base and left a rounded overhang. Water from the springs running down the rock during wetter months dissolves minerals adding to the colouring of the wave. In 1960, crystals from Hyden Rock were dated at being 2700 million years old, which are amongst the oldest in Australia. A 15 minute drive north of Wave Rock you will see a “giant” lurching out of the bushland. This massive granite rock formation is known as the Humps – grab your hat, sun screen and water bottle and explore! Be sure to visit Mulka's Cave. The name “Mulka” comes from an Aboriginal Legend associated with the cave. As you enter the cave (take a few moments for your eyes to adjust) and look at the walls and note the many hand stencils believed to representing adults and children. Close to Lake Magic, a large local salt lake, Denis Collins constructed a 20m round, 6m deep swimming pool-like gypsum pond whose buoyancy and therapeutic properties are greater than those of the Dead Sea.

Yurt Abundance in Perth Hills

Abundance yurt is surrounded by trees and birds in the Perth Hills, only 30 mins from Perth CBD. The property comes with its own composting toilet and hot outdoor shower, gas cooker and pot belly stove. Suitable for singles or couples, some smaller dogs may be appropriate (please contact Liza to discuss before booking). Other things to note Moonbeams Yurt is situated at the bottom of a 1 acre property, on a large 48sqm decked area. The yurt is 20sqm in size and the composting toilet and shower are within 10 steps from the yurt entrance. The hot water shower is an outdoor shower with a privacy screen. There is NO power at all, but 1 battery powered light is available, and there is a basic gas cooker provided. There is no refrigeration. Parking is at the top of the property and guests will have to walk down a partially sealed path to arrive at the entrance to the yurt, so good mobility is needed. You will need to bring in refrigeration/Eski, lights and basic cooking camp ware. A wheelbarrow can be provided to get gear from car to yurt. A Double bed is provided. Optional extras are fresh bedding. The pot belly stove is great for the winter, and timber is provided for cold nights. We do not recommend booking during our hottest months, unless you love the heat. This property is great for backpackers or people wanting to see the sites of Perth and surrounds. The train line is close by for people who do not have a car. There are many walks and states forests in the area. We have a two night minimum stay.
