They are very friendly but only know us and not you so please do not enter their homes without us, but feel free to talk to them over the gates. We are located less than 15 minutes away from Moyhu where there is a fantastic cafe, pub, and shops, and Milawa, where you can enjoy the award-winning Brown Brothers winery and Milawa Cheese Company. It is also less than 30 minutes to Wangaratta, Beechworth, and Myrtleford not to mention a few minutes from the Snow road.
This site is for self-sufficient campers only. All guests must have their own toilet and all waste must be taken when departing to keep the natural beauty of the area.
We also ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum to preserve the peace of the surrounding wildlife. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

- We are only 2 and half hours from Melbourne and 30 mins off Hume Fwy, via Wangaratta. We are a working cattle farm. You cannot pat any.

Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people).
Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people).
Campsite 3 is not very flat and less well suited to tents.
Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here.
Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly.
Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite.
Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.****
We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites.
Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there.
Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district.
The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive!
Take a walk to the top of Sugar Loaf, and see unique grass trees on this rocky hill, while catching sight of Mount Buffalo.

We have a national park on one side of us, and the Cudgewa Creek flowing along our front boundary. The property is perfect for mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing or just plain relaxing.

It is also less than 30 minutes to Wangaratta, Beechworth, and Myrtleford not to mention a few minutes from the Snow road.
This site is for self-sufficient campers only. All guests must have their own toilet and all waste must be taken when departing to keep the natural beauty of the area.
We also ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum to preserve the peace of the surrounding wildlife. Well-behaved dogs must be kept under control at all times and must not interfere with the other animals. Maximum two dogs allowed. A flexible check-in/out time can be arranged upon request. - We are only 2 and half hours from Melbourne and 30 mins off Hume Fwy, via Wangaratta. We are a working cattle farm. You cannot pat any.

Campsites 1 is large and can accommodate two vans and 2 - 3 tents (or 14 -16 people).
Campsites 2 and 3 are smaller and more suited to one van with 1 - 2 tents (or 4 - 6 people).
Campsite 3 is not very flat and less well suited to tents.
Ample car parking. Campsites are 110m apart with a light screen of trees in between, no crowds here.
Accessed via 3.5km of rough dirt track - not recommended for low vehicles or low towing vans. The track is rough BUT easily driven by all vehicles - just drive slowly.
Dogs welcome, firewood is easily gathered by you, and often in piles by your campsite.
Campsites are NOT near water. They are near a dry gully, with an **** unfenced dam.****
We have a beautiful swimming hole at the property entrance, in Boggy Creek. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shaded lawn area, BBQ and pot belly fire. The creek is 3kms from the campsites.
Near The Hut is the gate to take a walk up to Sugar Loaf (500m return), where you can see amazing grass trees and place a rock on the cairn. Look for the wallabies that live up there.
Stay with us to get away from crowded campsites, to enjoy a quieter holiday, while being close to a great tourist district.
The King Valley showcases wineries, gourmet food, eateries, restaurants, pubs, brewery, even a gin distillery. We are surrounded by creeks, rivers and lakes, with many fishing, swimming and kayaking options - all within a 30 minute drive!

Samsons Gully is a working cattle farm nestled in a stunning private valley. If you are after peace and tranquillity this is where you will find it.
We have a national park on one side of us, and the Cudgewa Creek flowing along our front boundary. The property is perfect for mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing or just plain relaxing.
The favourite camp site is on the banks of the Cudgewa Creek. However, there are plenty of places to camp in the bush for those wanting more seclusion.
Samsons Gully is a perfect base to explore the Upper Murray. 20 minutes away is Corryong where there is an IGA, service stations, dump point, Dr and hospital, pubs and cafes. 10 minutes away is the Cudgewa pub who do dinner Wednesday through to Sunday evenings.
Our property suits fully self contained campers only as there is not toilet or shower. Dogs and horses are welcome but must be well behaved and kept close to your camp site as this is a working cattle property.

The campsite was awesome, there's a sick little 4wd track up to it. Definitely 4wd only. The hosts Jo and Bill are bloody legends. One of our vehicles couldn't make it up the track to the camp so Bill filled up his troopy with our passengers and gear and got us all up there.
The horses and dogs are lovely, the kids absolutely loved them. My little brother left saying he wants to be Bill when he grows up.

We loved camping under the stars. Being the only group for the weekend, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Toilet was clean and we came home with our spirits. If planning on swimming though, perhaps check beforehand whether the waterhole is dry or not. Can definitely recommend this beautiful campsite and will gladly camp there again.

Mill Site 2 was really peaceful and tranquil. The kangaroos and birds, distant rooster and the delightful Highland cows made our stay special.
We came in from Whitfield so different directions to the app. Road was a bit rough for our motorhome but we managed.
There is a rustic toilet at each camp site - cassette toilet and generously supplied with toilet paper - we were self contained so didn't use the one on our site. (Prob could have been a bit cleaner).
The campers at Mill Site 1 were close by. There was another lot of campers at the lower campsite. It's a fairly open area but everyone was respectful.
I think we had the best spot 😊
There was no communication from the hosts.
We would love to come back midweek and hope to be the only ones here. Imagine the tranquility and freedom of space - we loved our stay.
