The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Farm Views is a 370 acre working farm in beautiful North East Victoria, approximately 2.5hrs from Melbourne and just 1.5hrs from Mount Hotham. This private site is the highest point of the undulating farm land and offers scenic views including Mount Buffalo and memorable starry night skies. The natural, largely 'untouched' surrounds are home to Australian wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats and also feeds grazing sheep. The site contains trees for shade and space to spread out. Find a suitable spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper. Sit back and relax by the fire pit under a magnificent sky, watch the wildlife or go for a walk in the adjacent forest. No motorbike riding is allowed on the property but there is the opportunity for riding the fire tracks in the adjacent forest. You can also use the property as a base for your adventure in the local region. We are located less than 15 minutes away from Moyhu where there is a fantastic cafe, pub, and shops, and Milawa, where you can enjoy the award-winning Brown Brothers winery and Milawa Cheese Company. It is also less than 30 minutes to Wangaratta, Beechworth, and Myrtleford not to mention a few minutes from the Snow road. This site is for self-sufficient campers only. All guests must have their own toilet and all waste must be taken when departing to keep the natural beauty of the area. We also ask that noise levels be kept to a minimum to preserve the peace of the surrounding wildlife. Well-behaved dogs must be kept under control at all times and must not interfere with the other animals. Maximum two dogs allowed. A flexible check-in/out time can be arranged upon request. Wandi Farm is a small scale produce farm under development. It is set on 3 acres on the eastern (sunny) side of the beautiful Wandiligong Valley, just 5 minute drive from Bright. The property is on the side of a hill, which provides spectacular valley views to the north. Our family live in the recently completed straw bale house on the property, which sits well below the camping sites. The property has a fully functional camp kitchen with a large deck as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Due to the slope the tent sites are not suitable for camp trailers (the tent sites are flat but there is nowhere flat to park a car next to it) and the tent sites are not suitable for vehicles. Therefore we can only accommodate people with tents/swags.

What an amazing place to rest and relax. The sites were huge with fire pits provided. Lots of shade and sun depending on your preference. All you can hear is the sound of the water and birds. There were lots of flies but even people in town had the same issue. I would highly recommend Willowood. I will be back.

We loved our stay at Willowood! It was such a beautiful, peaceful property. The site was immaculate when we arrived and the built in fire pit was a bonus. My dogs loved swimming in the river and watching the cows. Our experience may have been an anomaly, as we didn’t see any reviews mention this, but the number of flies did impact the tranquility a little. We also came unprepared without any deterrents (rookie mistake for seasoned campers), so we’d recommend bringing some along to make the most of your stay. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to be back.

We loved the whole experience. The property is easily accessible in caravans. So so much space and huge camping areas. Other people camping but you would never know. Ian and Patrick are fabulous and friendly hosts. Great river access drop toilets which were very clean. Pet friendly. Highly recommend this hipcamp. We will definitely be back😁

Incredible place to stay, a real bonus having a toilet The most lovely host Ian. A fantastic flat super large area to set up. His property is a privilege to be allowed to stay. Wal has loved fishing in the river attempting to catch cod. He can see how big they are the water is so clear. Instead he has caught fresh crayfish. Our dogs have loved holidaying with many walks and swims. Very greatful for being allowed to bring them to Ian’s fantastic piece of paradise.

What a spot! We really enjoyed staying at Glenwater, by the dam and the picturesque views across the vineyard. Location was brilliant for a short walk to the nearby winery for afternoon drinks on the lawn, and central to all the things you want to explore in King Valley.

Great location to the wineries, brewery and township of Whitfield. Daemon was a great host and happy to help out. Firewood was handy benefit. Loved being close to the river, couldn’t get the kids out of it. Pity the weather turned south though, had to pack up early as it was going to get too wet.
