Christmas and Boxing Days are available on request only, we will not be accepting any booking for arrival on Christmas or Boxing Days, so that we can have quality family time.
Any guest who would like to book a site to arrive before Christmas Day and depart after Boxing Day please message us via Hip Camp and we can make the site available for your booking.
Guests MUST be fully self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground) you will need to have a suitable camp toilet where you are able to take your waste with you on departure.
There is a Dump Point available in Rawson.
Site Toilets can be hired thru Moe Hire (03 5127 7114), they will deliver & pick up from your site.
A fire pit is provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group.

Bruthen Creek Pastoral Farmstay at Woodside North, in Central Gippsland, is located on an operating 235 acre cattle farm owned and run by Damian and Angela. Apart from the bulls, cows and calves there are also miniature horses, alpacas and chickens to interact with. Local wildlife includes kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, emus, goannas and maybe the odd koala. Overhead can be seen many birds including eagles, parrots, water birds while the RAAF Roulettes regularly practice their routines.
There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace.
Pets welcome, but please ensure they are under control as there are cattle on the property.

I solo camped with my dog on the Chestnut Corner site. This is the last site on the property so very private. We had our own private sandy river beach and the chestnut tree provided amazing shade on a warm weekend. I recommend bringing a hammock to chill out under there. Would definitely recommend this spot if you can get a booking.

One of the best Hipcamp spots we've stayed in, and we've stayed in a good few! Super lovely welcome from our hosts, a very well kept space, very private and great for anyone looking for P&Q, excellent little facility setup with power and BBQ and a sink, great outdoor shower, all compact and simple but super lovely and everything we needed for an easier camp than we're used to. Great location and easy to get to Fish Creek or Foster for supplies, and a lovely drive down to Wilsons Promontory or other nearby spots. Really would like to come back soon and can most definitely recommend, Trish & Girls PS: Oh and the stars at night? !!! Off the charts unbelievable!!!

Excellent facilities. More glamping than camping!
Host was excellent and gave us some great pointers for the Prom. Shadow is the cutest little old dog who kept us company while we had our morning coffees. Horrible at fetch though, doesn't care to give the ball back.

What a great spot to camp!
A couple of old bangers like us really enjoyed having no other campers too close to be annoying. This is how camping should be.
Large mowed area by the river what else do you need.

This was an awesome camp site for our group of 2 caravans adjacent to the river and looking across to the alpaca's and to the groves of hazelnut tree's. Lisa and Bernie were super helpful and friendly. Definitely a camping location we will be coming back to and exploring their other beautiful river side camping sites.

We camped in our 15ft hybrid camper, no issues getting to site- slow and steady.
We loved our 3 nights here, host was friendly and kept the grass around our huge area mown.
Our dogs loved the space and the river- overall a great success- we will be back with a bigger group next time. ❤️
