Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne.
As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house.
With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb.
Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Each level is quite narrow so camper vans that flip out to the side and annexes are likely not to fit.
Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! Perfect for bushwalking or mountain biking.

With a large covered deck connected to the front of the tiny house, you don't have to go anywhere to witness Wedge-tailed Eagles, Black Cockatoos, King Parrots, Rosellas and Kookaburra to name a few. Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks.
We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained.
One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway.
There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north)
10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul.
Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days.
There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host.

Or wombats scurrying into their warren in the embankment just below the tiny house. Or the wallabies that hang out in the front paddock. If you're a fit walker, you can hike up to the back of the property that borders an old pine plantation now full of regrowth where herds of deer call it home. At the right time of day, you're likely to see all kinds of water fowl in the damns around the property. And if you're lucky, our 3 alpaca will let you photograph them as they stare you down, but no cuddles for these guys -- they're there to keep the foxes away. Night time is magical. With no light pollution, it's a stargazers paradise and on a still evening you'll hear boobooks, possums and frogs. The popular tourist village of Yarragon is 16km down a winding unsealed road one way, while the larger town of Mirboo North is about the same distance going the other way. Mount Worth State Park is 13km from our property and Lyrebird Forest Walk Regional Park is 26km just outside Mirboo North. While there's a lot to do around these parts, my guess is you won't want to leave the property.

Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks.
We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained.
One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway.
There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north)

This peaceful location is an ideal getaway, offering extensive views of lush farmlands dotted with grazing cows (not ours but the neighbours!) and the majestic Strzelecki Ranges in the distance. Feel free to stroll around our property and talk to the calves and cows on the other side of the fence.
The open spaces and fresh air provides a perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The rolling hills and farmlands invite you to unwind and soak in the natural surroundings.
Located conveniently on the way to Wilsons Promontory, our property has easy access to one of Victorias most natural parks, wether you are planning a day trip to explore the wonderfull beaches and walking trails of the Prom or simply enjoying the serene farm views from the comfort of your campsite.
Facilities include a covered outdoor kitchen area with hot/cold water (including a water filter attached to the tap for cooking/drinking), sink, kettle gas BBQ and three burner gas camp cooker, as well as a hot/cold rustic shower and composting toilet. You'll only share those with one other lot of campers, or if you're lucky you have them all to yourself!

Welcome to The Farm at JU Buffalo! Our property is a 6.5 acre hobby farm consisting of chickens, sheep, lambs, koalas, various birds and our resident dogs. There are 3 self-contained (Caravans, Motorhomes and Camper Vans with Shower/Toilets Only) sites available to choose from that are all located around our beautiful dam and there's even a doggy paddock for your fur babies to run around off lead in.

All sites include a fire pit, picnic table with seats and are dog friendly! We also have firewood for sale at $10 a bag and a carton of eggs for $5. You can pay cash for these through our honesty box where the collection station is. Also available is a book swap, feel free to browse through these and take a book to swap with one you've read.

Wide amazing views of sunset, with dam in foreground and mountains on horizon, in this private Hipcamp. Ducks on dam, beautiful horse over fence and friendly good natured dogs. View of mist over the water in the morning was also beautiful. Great for children who can see the farm animals. Our stay at this Hipcamp was truly special, thanks to Shelly and Craig. They are a friendly, welcoming couple and our chats with them added so much to our experience.

Friendly welcome from Jarrod, even let our son help feed the farm animals. Site 2 was reasonably flat just off the road but sheltered by the farm shed for privacy/security. Campsite suited our needs perfectly as only 10 mins to Warragul, will definitely be back again. Thanks guys.

It was such a peaceful place to stay and easy to find off the highway. Shelly and Craig were really welcoming. We stayed on site 4 and we overlooked the dam and had the most beautiful view with gorgeous sunsets each night.
We have already booked to go back in April for another relaxing weekend away.

We had such a lovely stay here. The property was incredibly quiet and peaceful — the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature. The views across the farm were beautiful, especially in the morning and evening.
Sitting around the fire at night under the stars made the experience even more special.
Laura was fantastic to deal with and always quick to respond to messages, which made everything really easy.
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing farm stay. 🌿🔥

Beautiful, peaceful, grassy site. Hot and cold water, great outdoor shower! Very friendly doggos! Great spot for relaxing and enjoying bother the sunrise and sunset with only the cows and kookaburras for company?? Serena was super responsive and friendly - everything was very easy. Would definitely recommend a visit. Great central location too. Highly recommend the Waratah Hill winery just down the road and Fish Creek is a great little town with a really good pub.

Helens property is lovely, as it was a long weekend it actually felt like an unpowered caravan park site without amenities, it had almost double the amount of vans/tents than the ad stated ( eg. 13 sites, but over 20 vans etc ) so not a lot of room between campersNot really my liking of a hipcamp feel this time.
Would I return on another weekend ( not public holiday ) absolutely, would love to come back.
